COUSINS' CABANA at The Villas at Sunset Beach is an elegant privately gated community and the second floor end unit directly on the beach has views in every direction. And what a beach it is, voted one of the best beaches in the world!

NEW FOR 2024 WE HAVE UPDATED THE FOLLOWING:

NOTE: SINCE WE PURCHASED COUSINS' CABANA WE HAVE TOTALLY RENOVATED. THE RENOVATION WAS EXTENSIVE AND INCLUDED:

1. THROUGHOUT THE CONDO - new tile flooring and area rugs, total repainting, new woodwork, wainscoting and crown moldings, granite counter tops and new ceiling fans with lighting;
2. KITCHEN - all new and professionally designed with custom cabinets, granite counter tops, glass tiled backsplash, and top of the line stainless steel appliances.
3. LIVING & DINING ROOMS - new area rugs, all new furniture in the living room, including upgrading the TV to 65" with HD & 4K with a Sharp surround sound system. The Dining Room has a new buffet, artwork and designer lighting.
4. ALL BATHS - are updated with new custom cabinets, lighting, granite counter tops, and new toilets. The master bath was also updated with a new full spa tiled rain shower and granite and glass tile surrounding the jetted tub for two.
5. MASTER BEDROOM - All new bed linens and furniture, including a king Tempurpedic mattress, a 55" HD TV. The lady's dressing room has been updated with custom cabinetry including her own vanity and dresser and the bedroom has a large dresser for the man of the house.
6. FRONT KING BEDROOM - has all new furniture and bed linens and a 37" TV with WiFi connected DVD. The new king mattress is the top rated by Consumer ReportS (NovaForm memory & gel bed).
7. THIRD BEDROOM - Has been furnished with a new bunk bed (an XL Twin over Queen) new foam/gel mattresses on both beds, new furniture and bed linens. This room has a 37" TV with WiFi connected DVD. PLEASE NOTE THE WEIGHT LIMIT FOR THE UPPER BUNK IS 125 LBS.
8. BALCONY - Has new decorative pillows on the conversation area and has a balcony height table with 4 chairs which have been newly reupholstered.

While the outside gives guests the feeling of a lovely Mediterranean villa, the inside offers comfort that makes one feel like they are truly in a modern tropical paradise. Each room has been tastefully decorated with designer decor with your comfort in mind -- a retreat for every season!

The living area provides not only the ocean view, but also the view of the pool. The kitchen is fit for a professional cook and extremely well equipped, a perfect place to make toast or a 5-course gourmet dinner. The adjoining dining area is large and spacious and includes table and chairs for 6 as well as a bar dining for four. The living room includes lots of comfortable seating and a gas fireplace for the entire crowd to gather. The new 65" HD-4k flat screen TV with Sharp surround sound system, HD cable and a Blue Ray DVD player (along with complementary video collection & WiFi connections) provides the perfect setting to enjoy sports or to have a movie night for the family. The sound system is Bluetooth compatible so you can play your favorite tunes from your phone. There is even a full collection of board games and books in the armoire. We have taken care to anticipate the needs of our guests.

The balcony is the perfect extension of the living area and is fully furnished and allows for Gulf-view dining or lounging with the sound of the waves providing the background music. There is NO bad view in the unit!

The master bedroom is a true sanctuary. With a king sized Tempurpedic Cloud bed, luxury linens, iHome stereo (iPhone 6 compatible), a 55” HD flat screen smart TV, private sitting area, his and her vanities and dressers. The adjoining bathroom is a total Spa featuring a jetted bathtub for two, large walk-in shower with rain shower head, separate dressing room and generous closet, what more could anyone ask for! The sitting area is perfect for reading your favorite book or having you morning coffee in the bay window. There is really nothing like waking up to the view of your own palm tree.

The other two bedrooms (each with their own bath) are comfortably appointed one with a king bed and the other with an XL twin (NOTE: 125 lb weight limit) over a Queen bunk bed and both have 37" TV’s with WiFi connected BlueRay DVD's. All bedrooms have memory foam/gel mattress and custom-made linens that were designed specifically with the guest in mind.

Approximately 2,000 square feet give our guests and their families plenty of room to get together and lots of nooks and crannies in which to enjoy some alone time.

Whether you want to spend time in the sun by the ocean front heated pool, lounge on the beach, swim in the surf, walk to Rosemary Beach for shopping, “doing” lunch, or just relax inside in the cool, comfort, and quiet - you have it all in this outstanding villa-Cousins' Cabana (Unit C-201)!

Please note that the rental does include linens for the condo but does not provide any beach towels. Beach chair rentals are available for an extra charge from the LDV Beach Services who maintains a kiosk on the beach. We also try to keep the condo equipt with several beach chairs for complementary use of our guests.

Great stay

We stayed here last week and had the best time. Location was great. The condo was beautiful. The balcony was awesome. Everything so so comfortable. Would not change one thing about this place. We lacked for nothing. Proximity to ocean was great and we enjoyed the pool too. We brought our bikes and you could bike safely everywhere. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very Disappointed - Not Impressed

I really wanted to like this property - but we had too many issues for me to leave it a stellar review. Here are the main problems: We have come to 30A for many years and stayed mostly in Seagrove and Blue Mountain/Dune Allen. This was our first year this far east closer to Panama City. This was one of the Worst beaches we have ever been to. Not because of the beach itself, but how the crowds of people were managed. This condo shares beach access with the huge Seacrest community across the street. There is constant traffic past the balcony to get to the beach. The beach is incredibly crowded because they force guests who have brought their own beach equipment into a 30 yard wide bit of frontage which hugely overcrowds a very small area. You either have to rent chairs from the companies that have sandwiched you in to get relief (an extra $200 a day) - or just deal with it. Despite this, we had a great time because the water was beautiful, but it HEAVILY dampened our trip. We had to be out before 6AM to get a spot at the front and people were incredibly aggressive in trying to squeeze into spots that did not exist. If you are coming to enjoy the beach, go somewhere else. You won't like it there. The unit itself also had issues. The toaster didn't work at all, the wifi was also virtually non functional and really effected our ability to keep an eye on our business while away. We had to go to the coffee shop to get reliable wifi. There were also ants in the master bathroom.

Cousin’s Cabana continues to please!

Several years ago, we stayed at Cousin’s Cabana during our first trip to A30. We loved it so much it was the vacation to which all others were compared! This year’s stay was as lovely as the first. We’re already planning our third stay at Cousin’s Cabana and are very much looking forward to it!

Amazing Stay at the Villas at Sunset Beach

My husband and I stayed here with my 19 yr old son & his friend, and my 17 yr old daughter and 18 yr old niece. The accommodations were perfect for the 6 of us. I think it would be great with younger kids too. The location is fabulous -- with an easy walk or bike ride to Alys or Rosemary or down to the Chill (formerly The Hub). We've been coming to Rosemary for July 4th for 8+ years but this was our first time in the Villas. We absolutely loved being in this unit right on the beach. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view over coffee in the morning or over drinks in the evening. The one issue would be internet connectivity -- we had to leave the property a number of times for work calls to ensure we wouldn't be dropped or disconnected.

Condo was top-notch. Probably the nicest one we’ve ever stayed in. Walking through the cramped public area was somewhat uncomfortable & a bit of an eyesore. When you pay the cost for the rental chairs/umbrellas the beach experience should be more pleasant, I think.

A piece of heaven

Definitely one of the nicer condos we have stayed in. Beautifully appointed. Great location. Comfortable seating on terrace to drink coffee in the mornings and wine at night. The kitchen is well stocked with premium cooking necessities. We usually stay a little further West on 30A, so this is the first time we have been right in the heart of Rosemary Beach. Love the shops, restaurants and beach - but it is much more crowded than what we are used to. Despite the crowds, I would go back in a heart-beat.

Great Condo!

We loved our stay at this condo. It is very nice and comfortable. The owners went the extra mile for their guests by having chairs, beach toys, and extra blankets available for guests. The view is amazing and the balcony so nice to have dinner and sit out and relax. We also loved the proximity of the beach, it is such an easy walk.

You HAVE to stay here

Have stayed at many VRBO's from San Francisco to Maine to Key West. This was the nicest, cleanest, most accommodating place we've stayed. The pictures do not do it justice. And communicating with the cousins was effortless and a joy. Will be back....and soon.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!

We've vacationed along 30a for 14 years but this was our first time to stay in the Rosemary/Seacrest area....we have been SPOILED!! being so close to the beach and pool that "shoes" are totally optional and then being walking distance to restaurants and shopping was worth every $$ (vs fighting traffic and wasting precious time looking for parking 🙄). We both have hectic jobs and this was by far one of the most relaxing trips we've taken. House was clean and well stocked. Property manager replied quickly to a few questions we had....the whole process from beginning to end was very easy and stress free. The only negative (which has nothing to do with the condo or its owners) would be the new chair rental company....they are literally taking up 80% of the beach with chairs that were 50% empty/not used....5 rows deep and very spread out leaving only a tiny space for everyone who wanted to bring their own (we were literally piled up on top of each other). If I were an owner I would not be happy about this. We took a walk down beach and noticed other chair companies were not hogging the area and had their chairs set up in "U" formation vs straight line which didn't take up near as much space. Overall the experience and stay was wonderful....we will definitely be back!

Great location with amazing view

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. The property manager was extremely nice and helpful with anything and everything. We stayed the last full week of May and it was CROWDED (5 rows deep of beach chairs)! There were a few minor things in the condo including insect issues and a few maintenance things the owners need to have fixed but otherwise it was wonderful and we would stay here again.

Wonderful beach getaway

This was our first time to Rosemary and we are so happy we went. Beautiful/functional condo with a wonderful view of the ocean. Like others mentioned, the beach can get quite crowded but fair trade off for the wonderful location. We will definitely book again in the future.

Such a beautiful place!

The condo was fully equipped with all we needed for the week. The kitchen even had a juicer to make my own orange juice! The condo is very clean and comfortable. The balcony has very comfortable seating and such a great view! The only thing that could have improved the week would have been a less crowded beach, but we did have enough room to set up our small sun tents. It is nice to walk to the shops at Rosemary Beach.

Beautiful property, beautiful location

We enjoyed our beachfront stay in this beautiful 3bd/3ba property. We had plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 children, and we found the space to be very welcoming and functional. Short walking distance to Rosemary and Alys beaches, which we enjoyed.

Overcrowded beach

We thought we were renting in a gated community of approximately 45 units. Had no idea that all the people from Villas at Seacrest Beach would walk right by the unit and be using the same beach space. Beach was extremely overcrowded!

Loved loved loved our stay at Cousin's Cabana.

The property is (beautiful) perfect for a family, and super easy access to the pool and beach. We loved sitting on the balcony each evening to watch the sunset and enjoy the beautiful water.

Carl & Beth (from Nashville, TN) and Jeff & Debbie (from Atlanta, GA) are cousins with a common love of the 30A area. When they found Cousins' Cabana they knew it was "it" from the moment that they walked into the living room and saw the 180 degree view of the Gulf before them. And after they purchased and moved in, they knew it was the perfect place for them to enjoy time together with the family. Cousins' is distinct since it is not just a "rental" but is primarily furnished and decorated to be the Cousins' home away from home.

Why they chose this property

The Cousins have loved the 30A area and had been coming down for family breaks for years. However, the Villas of Sunset Beach offered not only the perfect condo but also set back and away from the congestion of 30A and directly on the beach with perfect views of the sand, surf and sunsets!.

What makes this property unique

Although a peaceful retreat, Cousin's Cabana is next to the pool and the steps down to the beach. The town center of Rosemary beach is only a short (less than 5 minute) walk for shopping and dining. Alyse beach resturants are just 5 minute walk in the other direction. The Villas take pride in their pristine wide beach. Now that we have completely renovated the condo, it is absolutely spectacular.
