Brennan's on Fraser beachfront house

Minimum 5 night booking.

Brennan’s on Fraser is situated in Eurong Second Valley on the eastern surf beach of Fraser Island. The private, well equipped house is part of a complex south of the small township of Eurong and has absolute beachfront ocean views.

Relax on the spacious front decks enjoying the panoramic vista of the ocean and you might see a whale off the beach. A short walk to the beach to fish for dinner and go to sleep at night with the sounds of the surf! Dine inside or out on the northern or southern decks. The house has ample space for a couple or family.

Eurong is convenient to most of the island’s attractions- surf fishing, crystal clear lakes, hiking trails, whale watching in season. There is a small store, coffee shop and bakery located 300 metres north for basic supplies and fuel. Eurong Beach Resort in the same location has a restaurant/bar. No pets are allowed anywhere on Fraser Island.

The township has a fence to deter native dingos so are not present around the house and complex.

Fraser Island is 4WD only. Access is via the Inskip Point 4wd barge north west of Rainbow Beach, then approximately 30 minutes beach driving (at low tide) to the house. Allow 3 hours in normal conditions from northern Brisbane to Inskip Point. The second access is via the River Heads barge and a drive through the island from the barge landing. This second route is not tide dependent.

Some hire vehicle companies have restrictions on taking their vehicles to Fraser Island. National Park permits can be obtained online. Barge tickets from Inskip Point can be purchased in Rainbow Beach or onboard. Barge bookings are necessary if travelling from River Heads.

Linen consisting of sheets and pillow cases, towels and tea towels may be hired if you do not wish to bring your own.
There is a refundable cleaning and security bond (good housekeeping) so that the house is left clean and tidy. Check in or out at any time on the day of arrival or departure as travel is usually tide dependent.

The owners, Sue and John, have owned the house for over 20 years and are only too pleased to give you advice if you have never been to the island, or need any information about the house.

We loved our stay here, the house had everything we needed and made island life very easy. It was in a great location for many options of day travel around Fraser and had great views to come home to as well.

Beautiful Holiday Home

We are a family of 6 and this home was perfect for our holiday on K'gari Fraser Island. We loved the location as it was close to the general store and bakery. We loved how safe the home was for our 1 year old who has just started walking. We were overlooking a large grassed area that the kids could play on and we were able to walk to the beach within a couple of minutes. John and Sue were a pleasure to communicate with and their home was exactly as advertise. We will be back.

Outstanding

The place is much larger than we expected. The furnishings are ample and comfortable. Having 2 fridge/freezers is great for longer stays. We had some bad weather but we didn’t feel crammed in each other’s space. Having a pool was a big bonus. Eurong is easy to drive too even if it’s high tide and it’s a nice 10 min stroll if you want to walk.

Perfect beach holiday on K'gari... Always special to come back to the house after a big day out on the island and feel at home and comfortable. Highly recommended! We would stay there at our next visit again for sure!

Extraordinary Place

Spectacular Holiday House

WOW! WOW! Spectacular views of the ocean, everything you could ever need is provided. John & Sue go above and beyond with the supplies. The house was very clean and tidy. Easy to access from the beach. After a long day on the beach it was lovely to go back to a beautiful home and relax. Would recommend to anyone wishing to stay. We will be back.

Absolutely loved our stay! Perfect beach house to unwind after a day of exploring the island. Great location. Very clean, well-equipped and maintained. K’gari Paradise

Great trip to Fraser Island with two four wheel drives. What an amazing place to be. The house was so central to everything. We had amazing food - courtesy of my son and myself as assistant. Took a scenic flight over McKenzie Lake, which we had already visited the day before. Had a float down Eli Creek and did a brilliant bush walk from Central Station and numerous other things.

Wonderful experience

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Brennan's on Fraser. From check-in to check-out, we had an excellent experience. Brennan's is one of the best located villas in the complex with uninterrupted beach views and direct beach access. The villa has everything you need (and more) for an enjoyable, no stress holiday and was extremely clean and well maintained - a testament to John and Sue. Exploring K'gari was amazing and there is still plenty to see on our next visit. Thankyou.

What a Great Beach House!!

Five of us, all adults, stayed at this beautiful beach house for 6 nights. When we walked in we were so surprised at how spacious the house is. Fantastic verandah with tables and chairs at the front and the sides, and the view of the ocean was amazing. The kitchen was really well equipped, and had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and second fridge was a huge bonus. The house was very clean and tidy and had a very homely feel about it. A few minutes drive to the bakery, fuel and convenience store. The owners were super friendly and amazing to deal with. Eurong is so central to all of the sites you would want to see on K'Gari. We loved staying at Brennans on Fraser, and would highly recommend this lovely beach house. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning. Thank-you to the hosts for a 10 out of 10 holiday.

Top spot to stay

We have stayed at these houses before but not in this house #2 - everything we needed was there and it was spotless. Only issue we all had was that the beds were very hard and all of us had difficulty sleeping. But I do love the location and the house was lovely to stay at. John and Sue were fabulous hosts.

John and Sue’s house was absolutely perfect for our first family trip to Fraser island. The house was beautifully neat, tidy, and clean on arrival. It is wonderfully large with plenty of room for everyone to find there own space or come together for meals etc either inside or on the spacious deck that overlooks the beach. We also found the house to be in a fantastic location for exploring all the lakes, walks and other sights Fraser has to offer. We couldn’t have been happier and will definitely be back.
