Midgee Cottage - quiet romantic getaway

This self-contained studio is set in a large peaceful garden in a quiet area 3 kms from CBD with panoramic views of Mudgee and district. The host lives in the main house, known as Midgee Cottage. The studio is situated nearby with its own entrance. There are no steps, and the undercover car park is right next to the entrance.

Studio consists of 2 rooms:
- 1 Bedroom with Queen-size bed, a sitting/eating area and a well-equipped Kitchenette. The Host provides a generous Basket Breakfast and attends to the wash-up.
- Bathroom has a shower with easy access, toilet etc.

There is an outside area where one can have a cuppa or drink and take in the view.

Mudgee has many outstanding cellar doors, eating places and sporting facilities which hold many varied events-football matches, golf tournaments, marathons and race meetings. Mudgee is very picturesque with many great bike rides and walks. There are also the historic towns of Gulgong, Rylstone, Hill End and Sofala nearby.

Midgee is a quiet, clean and well appointed studio. We appreciated the beautiful views, the easy parking right at the door and the delightful breakfast hamper stocked with fresh english muffins, home made jams & marmalade and fresh fruit, yogurt and muesli. Also nice that the host takes care of the washing up.

Top little spot.

What a lovely place to stay so close to town centre. It made a great base to stay at. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the beautiful views and were thankful for the yummy breakfast pack that was left for us. Definantly would stay here again.

Cosy getaway

It was clean, it was peaceful, had everything we needed for a short getaway in a comfortable compact space. We stayed midweek, and appreciated its quiet location a minutes drive into town. Anne was there to welcome us on our arrival. A gracious host who has added lots of little touches. We had a lovely stay.

Anne's property is clean, cosy and positioned in a small hill in a beautiful location with lovely scenery. Close enough but far enough from town to enjoy a nice weekend getaway in Mudgee.

Lovely weekend in Mudgee

Midgee cottage is very quiet and welcoming. The breakfast provisions were very thoughtful and lasted our three night stay. It is compact but cosy. We are used to wifi and perhaps a larger TV, but the other aspects of the cottage made up for this.

Good for just a short stay

Clean , quiet place in Mudgee. Not much space though. I was hoping for a 1 bedroom cottage, however it is an extension of the main house from the garage. For the price available, I found it quite expensive.
