ONE OF THE FIRST COTTAGES BUILT IN THE AREA BRIDGE COTTAGE SARGEANTS COTTAGE WAS BUILT IN 1823 BEFORE GOVERNOR SORELL PRONOUNCED THE TOWN OF RICHMOND.

THE SARGEANT WHO OVERSAW THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HISTORIC RICHMOND BRIDGE WAS HOUSED IN THIS COTTAGE.

ON ENTERING THE COTTAGE THE PEACE OF YESTERYEAR ENFOLDS YOU AS YOU STEP BACK IN TIME.
