Fabulous Family Holiday

We enjoyed the house very much; Tugun is a great town offering lots of beach time with a great food market ideal for what we were hoping for when staying with active grandchildren and focusing on self entertainment

Excellent holiday home

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Excellent location, close to beach and shops, beautiful coastal views. The heated pool, overlooking the coastal views, while small was excellent and well used. The configuration of 3 levels, 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, 4 bathrooms provided lots of space for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery/crockery/utensils. Some noise from overhead planes as close to the airport.

Amazing Views

From the moment we walked into this beautiful Property we were taken away by the amazing Views. Cool coastal breezes throughout the day the loungeroom dining area was the heart of the home. Every morning the birds would fly up to the balcony for the kids to feed. The pool was very peaceful floating around all day with such breathtaking views. An easy walk to the local cafes and shops very central to everything and only across the road from the famous tugun fruit market. Our Dogs had a small backyard to lay in the sun and also enjoyed the balcony views. We were gifted with a beautiful gift basket full of goodies. Debbie was very friendly and quick to respond. We would highly recommend this large home for young families. Such a great place for a summers holiday. Happy Days :)Michael & Felicity

Due to a storm, the electric power was lost on Day 5 of 11 day stay. We had partial power for 1 day. Then a generator was arranged 24hrs after we had no power, with only 1 tank of fuel required provided. We were also very restricted with appliances we could use. This was replaced back to partial power 24hrs later, but no available power for kitchen appliances or lights in bedrooms, kitchen and only 1 x tv in downstairs area available, none in living area. This continued from Thursday, until Sunday, when I contacted the host to check if she had heard about power being restored, she thought it had been, but had not notified us. The electrician came Sunday afternoon to fix this, and said it should have bren done 2 days earlier. For what I paid for this luxury accomodation, I understand that it was somewhat out of the hosts' hands, however, lack of ongoing communication, and the unavailability of kitchen appliances, and entertainment for 6 of the 11 days, surely deserves some fincial reimbursement

Dear Patricia, I'm once again sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience, and that the home did not satisfy your expectations. We set a high standard for ourselves and we're sorry to hear you were disappointed. Unfortunately, as you mentioned the unusual thunderstorms during your stay were horrendous, so bad infact, that they were deemed a natural disaster. The power to the area was knocked out and some homes were without power for up to two weeks, (including the holiday home right next door). I'm disappointed with the review as we felt we went over and above to make your stay in difficult circumstances more comfortable. Luckily, we were able to provide some power to the home, via a generator, one of only a handful of homes in the area that had any power at all during the outage. After many calls and messages, 4 separate electrician visits, and 5 separate handyman visits, the power did eventually return via the Energex grid to some of the homes in the area. We did additional towel drops, provided additional furniture for your comfort and additional gas for the bbq. Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience whilst you continued to holiday in the home for the duration of the stay. I hope we do not have to encounter another Natural disaster like that again.

Beautiful Currumbin

Beautiful house with everything you would need for your stay with outstanding views and very short walk to beach and cafes. Being so close to the ocean the house has suffered some of the effects of this and there was obvious mould/mildew in cupboards and around aircon vents. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Great house for family

Excellent location, close to beach (200m)& shops at Tugun. Fantastic views from the house & pool. Some flight path noise from the nearby airport but the view & location made up for it. Ideal house for extended family, plenty of space for everyone. The pool was great to have though not heated. Kitchen was a little small for self catering but overall, house well appointed.

Fantastic views

Everything you could want in a beachside holiday home. Ocean view up and down the coast, and easy walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Large house with all necessary amenities and beds were very comfortable. Debbie was a great host. Would definitely stay again.
