Due to a storm, the electric power was lost on Day 5 of 11 day stay. We had partial power for 1 day. Then a generator was arranged 24hrs after we had no power, with only 1 tank of fuel required provided. We were also very restricted with appliances we could use. This was replaced back to partial power 24hrs later, but no available power for kitchen appliances or lights in bedrooms, kitchen and only 1 x tv in downstairs area available, none in living area. This continued from Thursday, until Sunday, when I contacted the host to check if she had heard about power being restored, she thought it had been, but had not notified us. The electrician came Sunday afternoon to fix this, and said it should have bren done 2 days earlier. For what I paid for this luxury accomodation, I understand that it was somewhat out of the hosts' hands, however, lack of ongoing communication, and the unavailability of kitchen appliances, and entertainment for 6 of the 11 days, surely deserves some fincial reimbursement
