Merricks Cottage está situado en un tranquilo camino rural ubicado en el corazón de la península de Mornington. A solo una hora en automóvil de Melbourne, Merricks Cottage ofrece un escape idílico de la ciudad para disfrutar del sabor de la vida en la península de Mornington.

La escapada perfecta para el fin de semana, ya sea que esté buscando una escapada romántica relajante, una aventura al aire libre o un fin de semana de indulgencia descubriendo los productos locales.

Cosy cottage

A perfect weekend getaway location. We specifically chose this gorgeous cottage for its proximity to the Merricks Store where we attended a wedding. It was as close as you can get, in easy walking distance. We were delighted with the cottage- it was cosy and warm (on a cold weekend). Lynda was very welcoming and responsive. The bed was extremely comfortable and all facilities were excellent. It is a great place for a girls weekend, with two lovely bedrooms.

A character property, decorated with taste & flair

Well located for a visit to Pt Leo estate. Close to Red Hill & Balnarring & all wineries. Charming, small fibro cottage decorated with flair. Lovely touches, fresh flowers, bottle of Stonier wine, fruit from the garden.An expensive area to stay, tho.

Wonderful weekend away

My sister and I did a spa and wineries weekend getaway in Mornington and stayed at Merricks Cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed, clean, homely and has all modern amenities for convenience. After a hot springs day at Alba, which is located only 20-25 minutes from the cottage, we spent a quiet afternoon in the garden, relaxing and enjoying local wine and produce which we picked up at the Traders down the road. The next day, we spent at Pt Leo Estate, a convenient short 4 minute drive from the cottage followed by a quiet night in sampling yet more produce. I highly recommend this property whether you are planning on being out and about (it's location is excellent) or if you just want some peace and serenity. Our host was wonderful and communicated clearly and promptly

Mother/Daughter getaway

This cottage was so beautiful. Equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend. Walking distance to Stonier Winery (a favorite) and Merricks General Store where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. We would definitely recommend for a quiet and restful place to unwind and relax. Delightful

Merricks Cottage is a beautiful and comfortable getaway in a great location. A lot of attention has been given to make you feel at home, from a selection of different density pillows to a selection of teas and coffees. It has a beautifully landscaped garden and is a short walk or drive to everything you need. Ill definitely be going back!

Long Weekend

Spotlessly clean and out of the pages of a Country Style magazine . We enjoyed the location of the cottage to explore the surroundings and then happily had quiet evenings in front of the log fire . Lynda was very pleasant to deal with - would happily return

Best Weekend Ever

We had the privilege of staying at this beautiful property over our wedding weekend! We got to meet the lovely hosts on Friday night by chance and they are just beautiful down to earth people who genuinely wanted us to have a gorgeous time. Merricks Cottage was the perfect weekend away and I would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful spot

Well set up cottage in a beautiful location and proximate to general store and beaches. Very quiet spot and very nice garden. We cooked on two nights and kitchen is well set up. We’ll come back again.

Fabulous

We enjoyed a few days at Merrick’s Cottage. Such a great location for exploring the Mornington Peninsula. And with a winery and great food literally on the doorstep, we were very content. The cottage has everything and is very comfortable, especially the bed. I would certainly recommend.

A Great Location to explore the Balnarring / Flinders area

The cottage is well appointed and located very close to the Merricks General Store so a comfortable and excellent location from which to explore the area. Some nice welcome touches including a bottle of bubbles, some "home grown" eggs and apples and citrus fruit from the host's (Lynda) garden. Communication was very easy and check in straight forward.

Great Property in Fantastic Location

We had a lovely stay at Merricks Cottage. The property is in a wonderful location, close to the beaches and wineries and Merricks General Store is 5 minutes walk away. It is beautifully presented and the host, Lynda, was lovely to deal with. I would happily stay there again.

Cosy Comfortable and Peaceful

My husband and I rented the cottage for 4 nights and it everything it was advertised to be. Lynda the owner was on hand to welcome us on arrival with a bottle of bubbly and some local produce. There are toiletries provided and beautiful bed linen and the bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept in (including my own bed at home). The place was impeccably clean and comfortably furnished with everything you could want for a pleasant stay including airconditioning. It is located just up the lane from Merricks General Store which was a great bonus. Definitely five stars from us.

Beautiful, characterful Cottage

Merricks Cottage was above expectations. Set in a beautiful, lavender, rose and magnolia filled garden, this characterful colonial style cottage was the perfect antidote to the busy, city life of myself and 2 friends. Set just a stones throw from wineries, the Merricks General store cafe and cellar-door and peaceful Merricks beach, I recommend this as the perfect country escape.

Perfect cottage

We had a great stay at this beautiful cottage with our 2 kids and our dog. The garden was perfect for our dog, totally secure, and she enjoyed watching the neighbouring alpacas. The cottage is beautifully styled and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to others. We hope to come back next year too

Lovely stay

Tranquil Hideaway

We arrived at our wonderful cottage surrounded by beautiful, established gardens and were warmly greeted by Lynda our host. Our stay was very peaceful and our dogs loved the fenced yard to explore and marvel at the other animals opposite the fence. An easy 2 minute walk to the Merricks general store for coffee, food or wine and a short drive to Balnarring's restaurants and the Red Hill Bakery. Everything the peninsula has to offer is within easy reach, wineries, beaches, walking tracks and shops but without the noise of the front beach.
