This home is beautiful, clean and very comfortable! Our family and dog had a great time. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We will definitely return next year!

The beach house we stayed at was absolutely amazing. Close to families houses and right on the beach. The community played a movie on the beach and we were able to watch from the backyard.

Weekend Stay

We chose this place due to proximity to our family. We spent time on the beach with our grandchildren and celebrated my daughters birthday with a barbecue. The property was quant, private, nicely appointed and perfect place for my wife and I to stay while visiting family nearby.

Better than the pictures

Cute property, if you’re lucky the Saturday night band will play at the park by the dunes. Very short walk to the beach and lots of fun trying to find sea glass!

Family adventure

Excellent location for walking to Sound side of Long Island. We had an excellent shelling experience- so many sea shells!! Close to some good hiking trails and easy to get on the freeway to go Montauk or Greensport. We were not able to get good cell service at the property though. Made communication a challenge, we had Verizon, AT&T, T-mobile and all 3 had weak service, so be prepared to use wi-if calling!! Overall, nice place and would stay there again.

Beach House Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is adorable and very well maintained. We had everything that we needed to have a great week here. There were just a couple of things that were misleading in the description of the house. The first was that it sleeps 6 and that a cot is available. There are 2 bedrooms that each sleep 2 and a couch. There was no cot. The second is that the house is described as having a private beach. There is a beach down the road from the house that has signs up paying that it is private but it is really a neighborhood beach with lots of people there fishing, camping out, etc. This was not a problem, I just found the description on the website to be misleading. If you think that you are getting access to a truly private beach with this house, you are not.

Love This Place. Will Return.

Great customer service. Responsive and helpful. House was immaculate when we arrived. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a private beach house with amazing views. The description online didn't do it justice. I was overwhelmingly pleased upon arrival. I've stayed on the north fork before and loved it, but this was AMAZING. Hands down one of the best vacation spots on Long Island. We were supposed to arrive on Friday Jan 3, but in light of the "blizzard warnings" we asked if we might come a day early so we would be able to get there before the storm made travel unsafe. They were totally accommodating with reduced price for the extra night and all. The house is BEAUTIFUL. Glass doors that have an amazing view of the sound, a path to the beach (private~ish beach - I suspect it's shared with the houses in the neighborhood - hard to tell in the winter), which was awesome even in the dead of winter, an outdoor hot tub, also amazing even in (or especially in the dead of winter). The bed had heated blankets. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. They had coffee filters! :) It's the small things. I do wish the fireplace had been operational. Ah well, if it had been, I'd need 6 stars for this review, so probably best it wasn't. Also one of the bedrooms has a balcony. Again, in the winter, no good, but in the summer - phenomenal. And about a 45 minute drive to some of the best wineries on the north fork (highly recommend Old Field Winery). And Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is the spot to go for groceries. Homemade fresh pasta and pasta sauces, great produce section, seriously good coffee selection... cheeses etc. The house has an awesome kitchen too. I will absolutely try to return here. Next time, in the summer because I want to try out that kayak. :) And they returned my deposit within 24 hours. Thanks for an amazing weekend!

Stop N Shop only 5 minutes away, Del Fiore's market in town. Management contact (Debbie) was great - very responsive to my texts, quickly resolved the minor issues we had. Would definitely return in the future.

In town for a funeral

Just a short stay in town for a funeral. Property is beautiful and short walk to the private beach. Had everything we needed. Driving a GMC 2500 Sierra was a little challenging on the narrow roads but it worked out.

Rocky Point house

House was perfect for our needs. Very clean and well appointed. Beautiful views and great private large backyard. Right next to beach. Very quiet neighborhood with occasional limited noise from neighboring beach club.

As a caretaker for my mother I really need some time away, but couldn't be gone for very long. Renting the Dunes Beach House for a long weekend was the perfect option. I was able to relax in a home away from home and was even able to invite my Long Island family over for a barbecue. The house was spacious, nicely decorated, and immaculately clean. The location was easy to find and convenient for visiting the area or just popping over to the grocery store. I would definitely recommend LuxuryBeachFrontGetaways and the Dunes Beach House.

Well-appointed cottage for a beach vacation

The house is lovely and has everything one would need for a relaxed beach vacation. The neighborhood is very private and quiet. the view of the Long Island sound from the bedroom balcony is beautiful (especially during sunsets). Everything is in its place. Debbie is wonderful and responded promptly to all our questions. We had an amazing time!

For us it is ideally located to visit our families, our favorite beaches as well the wineries, and the Long Island Aquarium. The unit is always neat and clean and the property managers are ready and available to answer a question or deal with any issues. Can't wait for our next trip!
