1) Master BedRoom#1 - Main floor - King size bed with ensuite shower+sauna, jetted tub, access to main balcony.
2) Master Bedroom#2 - 2nd floor - King size bed, attached bathroom with standing shower and dual vanity and access to private balcony.
3) Bedroom#3 - Ground Floor - (Game Room + bedroom) 4 FULL sized beds (2 bunk beds); Full Bathroom with standing shower.

One half bath on Main floor next to Laundry room.

RESORT STYLE POOL & SPA - gorgeous waterfall pool with pebble tech floor to delight our most discerning guests. A relaxing place to rest and unwind after long days in the Yosemite Park or hiking. **Solar pool heating May-Sept and depending on weather pool may be usable in Apr & Oct **

We are a fully solar property, both for the house and pool
Minimize single use plastics by transitioning from single-use plastic bottles of toiletries with large-format bathroom amenities.

- Only 8 total overnight guests allowed (including children).

- This estate is in the middle of 62 acres of nature, we LOVE living in lap of Sierras surrounded by nature and the privacy it offers but we understand it may not be for everyone. We do have critters you might not want to see, mice, bats, insects etc. Please do not rent this house if seeing critters inside is an issue for your party. No refunds for any critters alive or dead found inside or outside. Please do not leave doors open as they can walk or fly inside at anytime.
- Everything is in working order, however should there be any issue (equipment or pest or pool or other) getting vendor support in this area is extremely difficult, and it may not be possible to fix during your stay. We will make every attempt to remedy the situation note no refunds/discounts.

Peace & Quiet

This VRBO was very well kept and furnished. Total peace and quiet in a rural setting with birds and wildlife to view. Everything you need had been thought of and the property was well maintained and showed the owners took pride in this home. The pool and spa felt like we were staying in a private five-star resort, which we were! We will definitely return on our next trip to the area.

Thanksgiving at the lodge!

The Sahari lodge is amazing. It is an excellent home base for family and friends and is even better than the pictures and listing show. We enjoyed the thanksgiving holiday and were able to enjoy all that the lodge has to offer. We would absolutely book again.

Fantastic hidden gem in Chowchilla Mountains

This summer we decided to drive with our puppy (8 mo). After lot of search, we booked Sahari Lodge for a week. We are just back and it is fantastic. Secluded in the heights of Chowchilla Mountains, yet only about 30 miles from Yosemite, with pool-spa-ample games-Tesla charger and many many more. We hiked a lot during the days, and used the spa liberally during the evening. Our puppy was in fact looking back when we drove out -- she is already missing it. This was by far one of the best places we rented and we will be back. I cannot do justice by writing about sunsets here - it is bitingly beautiful as sun sprays the orange on the mountains and the pines on it. Also - the host is amazingly responsive. Before and during our stay he always replied within minutes and proactively helped us with planning. 6 out of 5 stars. If you travel with kids - strongly suggest the nearby horse riding and old lumber trains. Some seriously good local brews in Oakhurst too.

Great private Getaway

This place is great! We certainly enjoyed it. Very private and quiet. Great views. Pool and hot tub was awesome. Game room was awesome, we watched a movie in the theater room. Saw a couple woodpeckers. Thanks to the Sahari Lodge for a wonderful stay!!!

The location was amazing, home was clean and well kept. The only problem is that bats are nesting in the living room rafters. We left a day early beacuse of the bats.

Mountain paradise

Luxury log cabin lodge! Beautiful home and property with great amenities, and amazing pool. My family and I stayed here over a very snowy three nights in Dec. we were snowed in and it was great as we had everything we needed, complete kitchen, entertainment galore with TV’s, game machines, and games, comfy bedrooms, and it was plenty warm. Upon departure the host had the drive plowed and we were set. Also, the host provided great communication and home details, and was very accommodating. Look forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the incredible pool!

Beautiful, huge home that’s perfect for a couple families.

We had 4 adult, 4 kids and 2 dogs and had PLENTY of space. The house had a ton of amenities which kept the kids occupied when we weren’t visiting Yosemite. Speaking of Yosemite, the location of this house is great. We were about 30 minutes from one entrance and 45 to the other. The hosts were very good with communication and it was easy to get in and out of. Sitting out in the hot-tub after a full day exploring Yosemite was amazing. Overall it was a great stay and we would absolutely stay there again.

Beautiful house in the mountains

We came here for the new year celebration. The house is beautiful and relaxing, we enjoyed every moment with our kids, the spa is big we were all able to enjoy it at the same time. On line listed arcade but it’s not working, it also listed the basketball ball arcade game but it wasn’t there. But we loved the place in anyway. Haritha was really good at communicating with us, thank you!

Memorial Day Weekend

The pictures do not do justice for this property. I was in awe of the home when we turned the last bend and saw the home. Absolutely beautiful. The pool is something out of a dream, large waterfall so soothing to listen to while swimming. The kitchen is stunning and has almost any pan and bowl you can need. It was like I was living a fairy tale cooking with the beautiful view on the amazing stove. There is plenty of space for everyone and the game room was a huge hit with the kids. This is the perfect property. I cannot wait to return. Owner is very responsive and attentive. 10 out of 10.

Fabulous Mountain Home

This property was wonderful for my group of kids ages 17, 13 and 8 and also for my older in laws. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax or to come together and play. The location is close to the south entrance of Yosemite but we enjoyed the drive to the entrance at El Portal. We also explored Kings Canyon one day. (about 2.5 hour drive but well worth it!) There is a cute grocery store in close proximity to the house. The pool and spa were beautiful. Only complaint was that we could not get the pool and spa lights on. Beautiful sunsets and great communication with the property manager. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! Would highly recommend this home!

Enjoyable

Pro's: The property was larger than expected and plenty of room for my family across all age groups. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a great time as a family. Plenty of activities in the home to keep everyone satisfied and busy so a perfect place for families! The pool was beautiful and a blast for all. Cons: Be sure to read the details carefully. The home is located outdoors, and wildlife tends to get into it. We had a bat flying around inside the home. Called the host and said it was to be expected and clearly indicated in the listing. There were rat or mouse droppings in the bathroom, flies, and mosquitos in the evening.

Amazing family retreat!

This was the perfect getaway for us. The pool and hot tub were amazing as well as the game room and theater. The kids also loved the basketball game in the porch area (not pictured) and rated the house and the vacation a 10/10! The house is secluded but close enough to stores (20 min. to Oakhurst) that we didn't feel too far out of the way. We got in a day trip to Yosemite but mostly enjoyed the amazing house and pool and made use of the great kitchen and BBQ. The hosts are great and were very responsive. We had a minor issue with the door code on check-in, but they addressed it right away. The pool lights were not working during our stay, but the patio and landscaping lights were ample for evening hot tub use. This is on the short list of vacation rentals that we want to visit again!

Heaven in the Woods

I can't say enough about this property in this summary review. It was absolutely beautiful, well-appointed and welcoming. We stayed here while we visited Yosemite National Park. The drive into the park each day was so serene and invigorating taking in the beauty of the Merced River and the Yosemite cliffs. I loved how remote it was as well. We really felt like we were in our own paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed everything this property had to offer - from taking in this sunrise with our morning coffee or ending the day with a gorgeous sunset and a glass of wine on the deck to soothing our muscles in the spa or steam shower; from the cozy beds to the incredible theatre; from the exquisite kitchen to the super fun game room... there is something here for everyone in the family. We would love to spend time here again next time we are in the area. Thank you for your hospitality!

What a Great Place

This home is AWSOME!! We stayed here while visiting Yosemite National Park. The house is very spacious and very comfortable. It is outfitted with any amenity you could need for a short or longer stay. There are multiple TVs throughout the house – all equipped with ROKU devices so families or larger groups can watch what they want. Air hockey and arcade games are also available. The kitchen is outfitted with top-of-the line appliances and is very well stocked for meal preparation and enjoyment. And the views are spectacular! We had breakfast on the deck each morning and enjoyed watching the hawks soar and glide. Because of the time of year, we could not use the pool, but it is well maintained as are the rest of the outdoor facilities. And the hosts. Every detail is taken care of. The welcome “manual” for the home is complete and answers common questions about the appliances and other facilities. The Sahari family was gracious and very easy to communicate with. We would definitely go back here.

Outstanding in Every Way

If you can believe it, this place is even better than we expected. Seriously, the listing photos don't do it justice. For me and my husband, at least, this is a dream house in a dream location. Log cabin style, gorgeous decor, breathtaking views, but with all the modern comforts you could possibly want. It doesn't get any better. Fabulous master shower with sauna, extremely comfortable beds (even the pillows, which is unheard of!), well stocked kitchen, awesome home theater, arcade games, pool with waterfalls, hot tub with jets, cabana. We made use of it all. And there are easy instructions for operating everything (note: thank you to the gracious host for answering my questions; sorry I didn't see the handy info/FAQ binder in the kitchen that first day). What a paradise. We didn't want to leave. We will definitely book again when visiting Yosemite. P.S. They aren't kidding about critters. We thought we weren't going to see anything and then on the last day, a huge alligator lizard was spotted just chillin' inside the main living room door. We are outdoors people and found it very endearing but fair warning if this is a problem for you.

Mice....not mouse.....Totally INFESTED

I want to start by saying we reside in southern Illinois. We are campers, hunters and outdoors folk. When the listing clearly states you may have an encounter with a bat or a mouse we didn't think much about it. A single mouse or bat while in a cabin in the woods...we thought hey its probably possible. When we first pulled up we thought the house inside and out was fantastic. After selecting our room my oldest came down and said dad I hear mice running above my ceiling. I went up and sure enough....not a mouse but mice were scampering above her celing. We decided its late lets just go to bed we will deal with it tomorrow. The next evening while wathcing TV we literly had mice running across the family room. I immedialty let the owner know. This is also where I decided to further dig into the place. I started looking in the corners, behind furniture etc. LITERERLY every single room in the house has tons of mouse droppings in every single corner. Above the beams poo, inside the bottom kitchen cabinets poo....everywhere. I text the owner. He claimed it is cleary listed on the VRBO listing about he mice. I said no sir this isnt a mouse encounter you have an infestion and are choosing to nothing about it. He first offered to have it cleaned again. NOT a cleaning problem!! Then 500 off. I declined and have decided instead to warn everyone on VRBO and I called the local health department. This is an owner ignoring he has a very serious problem. Up and down infested DO NOT STAY!

Great area and pool

The place is amazing the only problem are the mice in the home, new droppings are visible daily and we personally observed 3 during the day within a few days, one was in my dirty clothing which was kept on a shelf in the master bedroom. I didn’t find the mouse until I put the clothes in the washer so that was scary. I just get concerned because of Hanta Virus risk in this area. Hopefully nothing transpires as we are now back home but won’t know for 1-8 weeks. I did reach out to the property manager before my stay based off a few other reviews to inquire if the mouse issue had been attended to and they said it had been but unfortunately I still see signs. You are in the middle of the forest so I understand if any previous renters leave doors open et it’s hard to keep them out. My kids loved the pool and scenery.

Peaceful Getaway

The home and property were beautiful. We loved exploring the hiking paths across the 62 acres. Not once did my kids say they were bored! We will be back in the summer.

Awesome Cabin!

Our wonderful 4-night stay at this amazing cabin was fantastic! This spacious house was great for our party of 5 adults. Was plenty of beds and space for everyone!! The house was very clean & comfortable. The backyard & pool was fantastic-watched deer and birds every morning & sunset. Would highly recommend--we didn't want to leave...
