About this property

East Lake Cottage: Entire Home, pet friendly, Walk to Coffee/Restaurants!

Charming little cottage with everything you need for a long or short term stay. Full kitchen, laundry, smart TV, two bedrooms and a bathroom. We provide coffee, tea, and oatmeal for your convenience.

Three blocks from Hosea & 2nd restaurants, a short walk to Oakhurst Village or Kirkwood downtown.

This is an old house that has been newly renovated. You will have the entire house and property to yourself, but if you need anything we are nearby and can resolve any issues quickly.

Front and back doors have Ring video doorbells which record movement.

Kitchen has pots, pans, utensils, knives, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and everything you could need from a kitchen.

Dogs and cats are welcome! Please note that as part of our hosting standards, we welcome guests who have established reviews on the platform — we'd love to host you once you do!

Wonderful stay! Felt very nice and safe for my puppies I had with me. After being in the car for a while they enjoyed the fenced in yard very much. The neighbors were all personable and friendly. Took some suggestions on places to eat and visit from the guidebook provided. Really appreciated the little amenities as well!

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay in Decatur this past weekend. We came for a mini-writing retreat, and the cottage was perfectly cozy despite the plunging temperatures outside. We each especially loved all of the thoughtful details the hosts had around the house like their silicone sponge and the un-paper towels and even the swing in the yard that we nearly missed! Plus, there were so many amenities within walking distance and the neighborhood is charming, quiet, and lovely.

The pillows and bed were great. I really like the attention to using cloth instead of paper. It would be nice to have cloth napkins in addition to the cloth paper towels. It was easy to check in and nice to touch base with the owners.

Cute cottage that was a great place to stay for a couple of days while in Atlanta. The hosts were very nice and the rooms were clean. There are no paper towels or napkins for environmental reasons - there are plenty of cloth reusable towels but just know before you go if that’s not for you. Overall very pleased with our stay.

The house is a little older and had the charm that was perfect for us. The closed in backyard was just what we needed for our dog. I loved sitting on the front porch with my morning coffee and just taking a much needed breath. The owners were great about getting back to me super quick on questions I had.

The property is located in a very desirable neighborhood. Beautiful, with people out walking, running, walking their dogs, it is just a very lively neighborhood. The place young people want to raise their children. Very friendly.
