This home was renovated in 2019 and now features all the modern amenities as well as a spectacular view! This property is open year round Great for family and snowmobiling! It is also able to be combined with "the shack" to be able to sleep 16!! Located 2 miles out of paradise, close to Tahquamenon falls, whitefish point and much more! Close to ATV trails, snowmobile trails, fishing etc

The house was perfect for a birding vacation to Whitefish point. We were also close to the upper and lower falls for a 20 minute drive. The house was pet friendly and had plenty of room for all of us to relax. The sunrise was amazing!

Beautiful, pet friendly home right on the lake that is close to so many other wonderful outdoor activities! I loved being able to open up all the windows and let the breeze in, plus have a view of the lake no matter where we were in the back of the house. Board games were a huge bonus when we got stuck inside for a day and half due to the wildfire smoke. Our family had a great 10 day stay and we hope to be able to come back again soon!

We loved our stay in Paradise. The property was as described and it was very clean and comfortable. Our Host was quick to respond when we had some questions. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing vacation spot.

My family enjoyed our stay so much. The property is beautiful and the lake is divine. There is no beach as the pictures describe but that’s to be expected with any of the Great Lakes, some years, depending on water levels, you just don’t get one. The other unexpected challenge for me was the road noise. The cottage is pretty close to the road and the road is loud when traffic is present. By the evening it settles down a bit. The extra little cottage/storage shed has a nice bed and view of the lake, which was a nice addition. If you stay in warmer months you must do the waterfalls. They are spectacular and just minutes from the cottage. Would love to stay again.

Relaxing stay

Sweet little lake house right on the water was a perfect retreat for our family of 4. We loved watching the sunrise, and playing bags when we got home after a day of exploring the U.P. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome weekend in Paradise.

Close to Paradise and access to snowmobile trails. Nice view of Whitefish Bay. Nice set up for our crew. Wowser, was there a lot of snow! Would stay there again.

The view, the accessibility to so many wonderful locations/attractions, the beautiful lakefront property it all made it so hard to leave. Definitely get the fish tacos at “The Inn” amazing food!

Let me start by saying the host is excellent. She was very responsive, helpful, and understanding. I will also say the area is beautiful. The natural beauty of Paradise and Whitefish Point I would not trade! Very close to the falls, shipwreck museum, etc.The property was not as nice as it appeared on the listing. This is more of a seasonal cabin that has been converted to a "year round home" than it is what you would expect for a home. I think they focused on the optics of the conversion more than making sure the property could function well and safely.It was cutely furnished, but there were many structural problems with the property, You could see signs of likely water damage in the ceiling, the bathroom shower was persistently moldy, the house had a musty odor to it, the flooring was coming undone in place and it needing to be cleaned much better. We also had a septic issue with sewer gas smells during the stay, which the host was quick to respond to (thank you!).It's important to understand this is a small space that's not super clean. Everything had a film on it. Everything smelled musty/moldy. You also are right next to another cottage, so know that it's not private. And you are also on quite a busy road.The lake frontage is not swimmable/easily accessible but it is pretty to look at, especially while sitting around a fire in the well placed fire pit.

The lake house was perfect for our family of three & dog. A lot of thought was put into the amenities & decor. Great location proximal to Paradise, Whitefish Point, parks and inland lakes. We will return!

Lake House Paradise MI

If you want a quiet, relaxing get away, you can find it at the lake house. The memory of sitting by the fire and gazing across Whitefish Bay is my new happy place. I highly recommend this rental.

Fantastic Unit and Location - Captains Quarters

We actually ended up being moved to another property down the road, Captain's Quarters. The unit has been recently renovated and was absolutely fantastic. The beds were extremely comfortable, everything was clean, living area was cozy, great dining/gaming space and the the view was spectacular. Highly recommend.

Cute and quaint!

We stayed here for a long weekend to visit family in the area. The house was nicely decorated and equipped with everything that you would need on a trip. Check in was very easy and the owner was responsive to our messages. It rained for the majority of our trip but we were able to witness a beautiful sunrise from the living room one morning. We also saw a few freighters in the Bay. We’d definitely stay again.
