Silo House is everything and more. This property exceeded all expectations. It is quiet and peaceful. Clean and comfortable. Surrounded by beauty and close to great restaurants and the quaint town of Big Fork. An easy drive up to Kalispell and then on to the amazing Glacier National Park.

Great Stay in a beautiful modern home

Hosts were very informative and the home was well appointed with amenities necessary for family renters - washing machine, dishwasher, drinks, condiments, and soap. Setting was very nice and relaxing.

This was our second extended stay at the silo house and it was as great as the first time! Susan and Tom are simply wonderful hosts and the property is an absolute stunner! Could not recommend more highly!

Perfect setting in the country.

The house was beautiful. It was our favorite place we stayed traveling from Montana to S. Dakota. We spent most of our time on the back porch. Very peaceful. Central to Big Fork, Kalispell, Whitefish and West Glacier. Would absolutely stay again.

Simply The Best

Truly the most wonderful VRBO we have rented to date. Gracious hosts and the attention to detail was over the top. We just left and already want to plan our next trip back. This home is gorgeous, million dollar views, extremely comfortable, and fully equipped for cooking/grilling. Be sure to read the coffee table photo books… amazing adventures by these two.

Amazing!!!

If you’re on the fence , don’t be!! This place is amazing. Tom and Susan are wonderful host. They pay so much attention to detail and the house is truly one of a kind. Everything you could possibly need is there. We can’t wait to visit in the future.

Family Visit

We enjoyed the Silo House. It was spacious and well maintained. The location was great as it was close to family in the area and it was close to places like Glacier. The patio has comfortable and has a great view. We enjoyed sitting out there in the evening and catching up. There was a bad storm evening and the owners worked on clean up immediately after it passed. We would definitely book again in the future.

Christmas Getaway

Upon arrival the house was so inviting! We came for Christmas, there were stockings hung, Christmas tree up and beautifully decorated, fresh poinsettias, red & white roses and the fireplaces were on. We loved reading about the silo house and the owners adventures! We were close to Whitefish, Blacktail, Lakeside and Glacier National park. We had the best visit and Christmas! The house and Montana are beautiful! Thank you Tom and Susan!

Beyond expectations

We knew this house was unique, we just didn't know how much so until we opened the front door and walked in. WoW. Susan and Tom went beyond to make us comfortable and welcomed. Charming house, charming location and charming hosts. Fresh flowers, wine and chocolate were just the beginning of a wonderful experience at the Silo-house. You will not be disappointed. No stone left unturned by way of comfort, elegance and charm.

Our mini vacay at the Silo House was everything we could have wanted. From the beautiful property to the amenities and of course the wonderful owners who were so accomodating!! We have the perfect stay and didn't want to leave! We can't wait to come back and bring family and friends!

Lovely place to stay!

The Silo House is a fantastic place to stay. Our group (2 families - 4 adults/4 kids) had an amazing stay while attending a horse show at Rebecca Farm. We even brought our 7 horses who were super comfortable as well, and loved being able to work in the ring with the fantastic jumps provided by the hosts! Tom and Susan were very attentive to our needs and made sure our stay was lovely. The house has so many aminities and extras it was hard not to feel spoiled a bit. It is in a great location, close to town and convenient to Glacier National Park, as well. None of us wanted to leave this beautiful property at the end of the week. We would highly recommend it to you!

Good times in the Flathead...

The Silo House is a one of a kind experience. Easily the best VRBO property we've ever rented - and we've been to MANY. The house was perfectly outfitted, providing one amazing meal/gathering after another. The beds were fantastic, the views were epic, the wildlife was constant, and the hosts were fantastic. The location couldn't be better - we explored GNP, cruised Flathead lake, swam in many amazing bodies of water, rode horses, and spent much needed downtime with family. Couldn't have asked for more...and unlike most VRBO homes we've rented, we will be back. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality - Susan and Tom are simply the best.

Absolutely Perfection

Can’t recommend spending a week in the Silo house more- a complete TREAT! The owners / managers thought of everything and went above and beyond to make my parents’ stay extraordinary! Breathtaking getaway, amazing hosts, just a spectacular place

Had 3 nights here and I don’t have a bad thing to say. The place was phenomenal! We loved the location, beautiful views everywhere you look. Also close enough to towns so you have everything you need and 40 minutes from Glacier. Susan and Tom were welcoming, helpful, and so sweet to our kids. The place itself is beautifully thought out, clean and so fun to live in. Pictures don’t do it justice.

Five stars across the board

We booked the Silo House on the enthusiastic recommendation of a friend. In the event, our stay exceeded all expectations. Susan and Tom are terrific hosts, and the location and property are first rate. We arrived by small plane and parked right by the house; the 5000’ grass strip is beautifully maintained.

Wow factor both inside and out

The description and photos of this property are just the tip of the iceberg. Once you arrive you see a rustic exterior, but when you enter you're blown away by the modern interior. Every detail is accounted for to make you feel at home and at ease. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook for the entire family. When relaxing outside you will see not only the beautiful landscape but the local deer in the yard. Overall this property was a great place for our family vacation this fall. Will definitely return when we are in the area again.

Magical

This house is truly amazing and unique. The owners/builders spared no expense and thought of EVERYTHING. We used this house for the wedding party for a wedding at Diamond B. It was the perfect location and perfect setting for the bridesmaids the night before the wedding and the bride and groom the night of the wedding. The architecture is unique and will inspire all kinds of new ideas. Rent this one, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful unique house

This home is beautiful and so unique. The owners are friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It is perfect for 2 couples or two small families.

Have done extensive travel in US, Alaska by floatplane, and the near east and far east. We live next door and are always available to resolve an issue or help you plan your vacation.
