Welcome to Aspen Grove Mountain House! Tucked into a wooded area of aspen and blue pine, the home makes an ideal Rocky Mountain getaway. Located just 2 miles from Ski Granby Ranch and settled between Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Areas, Hot Sulphur Springs and Rocky Mountain National Park. This 4,500 sq. ft log home features expansive window views of the valley, a gourmet kitchen, three large living areas, two master suites, one bedroom suite, two additional bedrooms and a new 7-person hot tub on a spacious, private deck. Looking for a winter vacation? Aspen Grove Mountain House is minutes away from world-class downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and tubing. After a full day of playing in the snow, relax under the stars in the hot tub while the ladies snuggle up with a movie in the loft, and the kids play in the game room. Need a summer escape? The Winter Park area gives you access to more hiking and biking trails than any other area in the Rocky Mountains. The closest trail is only three minutes up the road from the house. The local area also offers mountain biking, river rafting, four golf courses, fishing, off-roading, boating, as well as activities at the base of Winter Park Ski resort. After a refreshing hike, relax on the front deck with a good book while the boys explore the trees, the girls Snapchat videos of the deer in the backyard, Grandma bakes her famous lasagna and Uncle Bob wins yet another round at the Poker table. Permit for Short Term Rental STR 21-00560 Please be aware of our Subdivision rules and regulations Trailers, campers, RV’s, boats cannot be parked on the property for more than 24 hours. All vehicles must be parked in driveway overnight. ATV’s, dirt bikes, snow mobiles and any other off road motorized vehicles may not be driven on community roads or properties· No loud outdoor noise between 10 pm to 8 am daily. Outdoor lights should be turned off by 10 pm. Guests must adhere to all county fire bans. Fireworks are not permitted.

Good option for large group in Granby

We held our family reunion at this property. The home was nice and accommodated our family well in terms of bedrooms and baths. The great room area upstairs allows for a large group to be together. That said, the great room did get warm during the hot summer days.

Stunning house that exceeded our expectations! Our favorite things were the coffee bar (loved the selection!) and the patio. The kitchen lacked for nothing, and an extra bonus was the wide variety of spices. Parking was more than adequate plus use of the garage was nice. With our large party, the extra refrigerator was definitely needed. The work-at-home setups came in handy, too. The best part - the wildlife! We saw deer and a friendly fox almost every day!

Amazing place!!

Perfect for our group of 12, lots of sleeping, gorgeous property, lots of amenities (games, shampoo, coffee, etc). Would recommend bringing a 4 wheel drive car, roads can get tricky in the winter.

Incredible home for a family or group. Fully furnished with all of the things you might need to cook meals etc. Couldn’t ask for a better location! Comfortable beds, hot tub, picturesque views. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Beautiful home in a great location

This was a great location for our family vacation. We had 11 people total and everyone was comfortable. The location was great! Within 30 minutes to Winter Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, etc. Granby is a nice little town, we had a great time!

Wonderful family reunion stay!

The lodge was very comfortable, spacious and very well stocked with household items. It is a great location for day trips to Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake for shopping, beach and fishing. Our grandkids with have wonderful memories of our time together. The host was very communicative and met all our needs.

Great House!!!

Beautiful Mountain Home enjoyed by all!

We had our children and grandchildren with us, to enjoy 4 days in your beautiful home. Several of the adults were able to go out mountain biking on trails close by, and we all went for a couple hikes near Grandby lake and also in Rocky Mtn Park. We all enjoyed the hot tub during the cool evenings, and played many card games or board games as it got dark. So nice to have a big home for us to all sprawl out. The younger children, ages 6-15 all planned a show to put on for the rest of us, with singing, dancing and some small gymnastics. It was so cute and so nice they had the downstairs room to work on their "show". It kept them very busy.

Really terrific! Beautiful and spacious. Ours was a three-generation group of 14. The kids esp loved the hot tub. Deer and hummingbirds entertained us. Kitchen, laundry, and throughout were well-provided. The hosts responded quickly to two minor repair issues. Only one real snafu: the description says all general soaps are provided but none of the bath/showers had body wash or equivalent. Fortunately a City Market is two minutes away and we got what we needed there. Would definitely rent this again!

Perfect home

We stayed here with extended family to celebrate my daughter’s 16 birthday. The home was perfect. It was spacious and clean and so comfortable. The location was great because it felt secluded, but was very close to stores and restaurants. The hosts were wonderful, very prompt and clear on expectations. We loved this home and will definitely come back in the future!

Great place to make memories

We stayed in this property with our extended family for our trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. The home was stocked very well and had plenty of comfortable spaces for our families (Having 3 different "masters" with en suites was so nice!) Brad went above and beyond in his communication with me leading up to and during our stay. Groceries were literally just down the road and location wise, it worked great to visit both RMNP as well as local towns like Winter Park and Grand Lake.

Family Vacation

This spot was perfect for our family. The house has plenty of space to spread out. Our family consisted of our 3 children, Spouses and their children. We could all either eat on the deck or around the table in the house. The house was well supplied. An added perk was the deer that visited our area almost every day. Great place to stay!!

Great House close to Winter Park

This house was everything we wanted. It was very spacious for eight couples and two kids. It was very convenient to Winter Park and Devils Thumb Ranch. The roads were plowed regularly, so even though it showed close to 10 inches during our stay we had no issue getting to and from the property. The owners were very informative and were easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at your home. We laughed, skied, played games, sledded, set in the hot tub, and just overall had a blast. Family Getaway

4 families with kids. Plenty of space to spread out. Spent time at Rocky Mountain National Park hiking and sightseeing along Trail Ridge Road. We also spent a day at Winter Park doing their summer activities. Saw deer most mornings in the back yard so that was neat. Quiet neighborhood with short drive to main road. Gas station and grocery store right down the street which was very convenient.

Perfect Getaway

We had a larger group of 10 people one of them being a small child. The house was AMAZING! The beds were super comfortable and we had lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was very well stocked and for us to make larger meals. It was close to the slopes which was nice for quick travel. We also loved the heated floors throughout. The communication with the property owners was quick. They were so kind with all our questions or items we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here and we plan to be back next year!

superb extended family celebration

We came to celebrate my mothers 80th brithday party and the property was perfect. Just as described and comfortable accommodatios for everyone. Excellent seating indoors and on the deck. Sufficient number of bathrooms. The location is very accessible and easy to get to. At the same time it is nestled in the aspens and you really feel the mountain air and atmosphere. We loved being visited by a group of 3 and one time, 5 deer casually munching on the vegitation. Owners were very prompt in response to all inquiries!

Spacious home base for Colorado stay

Our group of 9 had a wonderful stay at Big Horn. The cabin was huge and had plenty of rooms, comfortable lounging areas, well equipped kitchen, and game room. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to eat in and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a full day of hiking and exploring local sights. Just note that there is no AC since the weather in Granby is cooler than the city. There was a little bit of confusion over the listing address on VRBO and the confirmed check in instructions, but the owners were very responsive and helpful. Thank you for accompanying our family for a great time in CO!

Great Place for Multiple Families!

We will definitely visit this beautiful home again! The owner was very responsive and excellent to work with. The house was clean and offered plenty of space for all of us to spread out and relax. We had follow up questions when we arrived about the hot tub and other items, and Brad got right back to us. This meant a lot to our family. The house was in very close proximity to Granby Ranch Ski Resort, which was so convenient. Overall, we would highly recommend this lovely home! Thank you, Brad!
