Lake Havasu Vacay

Great home in a quiet neighborhood. Was perfect for our family of 8, mostly adults for eating, sleeping, and even watching some football. Home was clean, well stocked with towels, bedding, kitchen cookware, dishes and other necessities.

Clean and comfy

This was our second time staying at this house. Perfect size for our two families to stay. Close to the lake and very clean and comfortable! Plenty of room for boat parking. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent Property

The house was great and the new pool and landscaping was outstanding. The beds were extremely comfortable, the master shower had very nice tile and was very roomy. The house has a nice open floor plan, kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. Derek was very easy to contact and very responsive and cordial. Highly recommended and would definitely book this property again!

The house was great for us. We had 2 families total 10 people everyone had a bed and it fit us all well. The owner was easy to communicate with. Overall great family vacation for the week.

Great place to stay

This place is an absolute gem in the perfect location! The house is wonderfully spacious, offering plenty of room to breathe and relax. The beds are incredibly cozy, inviting you to sink in and drift off into a peaceful slumber. Each room feels soft and welcoming, with plenty of space to unwind. The couch is the perfect spot to curl up with a good book or enjoy a movie on the delightful TV. And the backyard? It's a dream—full of fun and endless possibilities for making memories!

House was very comfortable. Had no real issues other than we never could get the streaming TV to work in the bedrooms. We did get it in the living room, but not the bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Havasu typical house

The house was 4 bedroom 2 bathroom as described. The beds were accommodating. When we arrived the fridge would not cool down any of the food and the ice maker did not work. We noticed the carpet had been vacuumed but there were a lot of small spots (no big deal) we also noticed that the restrooms were dirty (toilet seats etc) we always take our own linen and inflatables for the kids to sleep. We took the sheets off the bed and noticed urine stains on the mattress covers but didn’t worry since we took our own bed sheets. Over all we figured out the fridge and enjoyed minimal use of the actual house since we took two boats to stay on the water. We only used the house at night. Very close to the London bridge. 5/10 cleanliness. We did end up going over our people unfortunately due to one of our friends rentals canceling last min which was unfortunate.

Disappointing

Te condition of the home was dirtier than expected. The floors were sticky, carpets stained, sheets on the bed in one room had something sticky on them. We had to add a stained sheet (from the closet) to cover the sticky portion. The picture shows 3 chairs at the breakfast bar and there was only 1 when we rented. The pictures also show a chair and futon in the living room, but there was only a futon when we rented. Since there were 12 of us in the house, there wasn't enough furniture for everyone to sit at the same time. There was also a significant amount of garbage at the curb that was spilling out of the bags. Not quite what I expected for having to pay the cleaning fee and high deposit. Very disappointing. Location was nice for hiking. Very close to Sara Park.

Not the place for you if you like it less than 78 degrees

Before booking the property, I sent a message to Derek asking if there was a limit on how low the AC can be turned (we like it 65 at night and 73 during the day). He said no, and I went ahead and booked. A week before our stay, he sent me a message saying they had their annual service done on the AC and that it was recommended it not be set less than 72 degrees, and that he would let us out of the booking with no fees if it was a deal breaker. We thought about it, decided to bring some floor fans with us, and continued with our stay. One of the parties in our group arrived 2 hours before us and the house was 80 degrees. When we arrived, it was still at 78 and hadn't gotten any lower than that a couple of hours later. We decided to go purchase two portable AC units as it was becoming very clear that the house wouldn't be getting any cooler than that. The coldest it ever got, with the 2 portable AC units running 24/7 and all ceiling fans and floor fans on, was 73 degrees. The two bedrooms by the secondary bathroom were several degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Pros: location and neighborhood were great/quiet. Plenty of parking for our 3 vehicles, boat and jetski. Kitchen was well stocked. Derek was very responsive. Cons: Hot, beds in all rooms except for master were really hard, carpet was stained and pretty dirty looking, baseboards were dirty, just overall didn't feel the cleanest. I would say the property is fine, not great and could use some upkeep/freshening up.

Thank you for the constructive review. We take all reviews seriously and always strive to provide a home that is comfortable and welcoming for our guests. In response to your concerns we had an electrician respond to the home at 7am to restore power back to the house. Additionally we had our AC company come back and inspect the AC system. They found nothing wrong with it and stated it was in good working order. The carpets were cleaned the day after Danielle’s stay and are now free of any stains. We have owned this home for 16 years and take pride in providing a clean and comfortable vacation home for our guests. We look forward to hosting you again for any future visits to Lake Havasu City.

Not a 4 Bedroom

The property was nice ;however, it is not a four bedroom. The extra room is a small den that has a couch bed. I contacted the owner and was advised that it was in the listing description. The bed listing was so inaccurate. With that being said I would rent this property again but it would be nice to know upfront.

It did the trick!

Nice place with decent amenities, nothing fancy, but we don't need fancy as we're on the lake most of the time. Priced right for the number of people they allow. However, you'd have a tough time accommodating for 10+ people unless kids are a good portion of the mix. The queen beds would be better if they were cal kings. RV access was nice to back our boats into. No garage access was a surprise, but that's likely due to my poor reading. A second fridge would have been a bonus to cool drinks and allow for extra storage. We might be back.

Fun at lake havasu
