This was our second year doing a long ski weekend at Haley Pond House. The communication from Morton & Furbish is excellent, the house is very well equipped and comfortable, and the location is perfect. We loved taking a short walk across the pond into town.

Family week at Haley Pond House
The location was great, close to town and ice cream treats, the house itself was just right for our multi age family vacation.
Our grandsons had a ball fishing off the dock, paddling kayaks and capturing (temporarily) frogs.
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment so cooking was easy and the deck was perfect for enjoying the delightful weather.
Our only complaints were the limited access to the water as the dock had no ladder and getting into and out of the water as a 70+ year old grandmother was impossible.
Morton and Furbish were responsive to our requests and very helpful.

66 depot was fabulous. Clean comfortable and great location . We couldn't have asked for more. Great place to just get away and relax in comfort
We all loved the nice quiet cabin on the pond had everything we needed to relax and enjoy nature to its fullest. Plenty of trails nearby to walk to, easy walk into town as well. Nice to have kayaks right there to explore the pond with. Do note that since the pond is shallow, water shoes are a must but it is a great place to be.
Definitely on the list for a repeat visit!
Lovely property for our extended family. Clean, well stocked, and peaceful. Loved hearing and seeing all the loons, also had visits from deer and duck! Pond is perfect for kayaking. I had thought it would be good for swimming, alas, it is not. My own fault for not researching more thoroughly; lots of rushes and lily pads... I hopped onto a float with my book on a windy day and was blown clear across the pond; paddles strongly recommended! The deck is large and welcoming, you will definitely want to bring camp chairs for gathering there or around the fire pit. Restaurants, shops, and ice cream only a 5 minute walk to town. Property management was kind and responsive, would recommend!

A Glorious Rangeley Thanksgiving
A beautiful home right on the pond. Views from almost every window. Loved both of the gas fireplaces which added a cozy vibe to our family's Thanksgiving in Rangeley. We could literally walk to town, even in the very cold weather of that week-end. The town rolled out its Christmas spirit with horse drawn carriage rides, door prizes, free cocoa.

The house was amazing! This was our first time renting but we have been coming to Rangeley for over 40 years! We have a cabin on Haley but it's not big enough for all of us. This was perfect. We will be back!

Absolute perfection!
This home is extremely well appointed, tastefully designed and provides the nicest balance of quiet lakefront views and walking distance to downtown. No one wanted to leave. It's beyond wonderful. Thank you.
Thoroughly enjoyed a small family vacation here. The location could not be beat. Off the beaten path for privacy, yet close enough to enjoy all that Rangley has to offer. We enjoyed walking into town for dinner, walking the dogs along the trails, kayaking, and listening to the loons on the lake while sitting on the deck. This home was very clean and well stocked with cooking supplies, games, TV, etc. There is also plenty of room for a family to spread out.. We had a great time and highly recommend this rental. Thank you!
A group of friends and I have been doing an annual 3-day ski trip for the last 17 years. We have probably rented 10 different places in northern Vermont and Maine. The Haley Pond House was our favorite of them all. We all love to cook and the well-equipped kitchen exceeded our expectations. The open space between the kitchen and living room area were perfect for relaxing and catching up in front of the fire. The views of the pond were just spectacular. And the location made it easy to get to Saddleback (our new favorite mountain) and Sugarloaf. You can also walk into town for a great meal and a beer. Finally, thank you to Morton & Furbish, the local realtor and property manager, for making the whole check in and check out process seamless. We are already talking about returning next year!

Perfect Rangeley stay!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming Haley Pond House in Rangeley, Maine, and I just had to share my wonderful experience.
First and foremost, the cleanliness of the cabin was impeccable. Upon arrival, it was evident that great care had been taken to ensure every corner was spotless and inviting. This attention to detail made us feel right at home from the moment I stepped inside.
The cabin was incredibly comfortable, offering a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding. One of the highlights was the gas wood stove, which not only provided warmth but also added a touch of rustic charm to the space. It was the perfect spot to curl up and enjoy the serene surroundings.
Location-wise, the cabin couldn't have been better situated. Nestled in the picturesque town of Rangeley, it offered easy access to a variety of outdoor activities and stunning natural scenery.
Overall, our stay was nothing short of fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located retreat. We can't wait to return and create even more wonderful memories.

Great house and location!
Had an amazing stay at the Haley Pond House! The house is beautiful and was nice and clean. The location was also perfect for us, walkable to town and you can snowmobile right from the driveway. The only thing to take into consideration for this house is that the driveway is steep so you need to have a vehicle that can get up and down the hill. For us this wasn't a big deal, as we parked our snowmobile trailer and truck at the end of the road (a VERY short distance from the house) in the public Rangeley lot and Morton and Furbish provided us with parking passes so we were able to leave it there for the week. It took a little more planning…parked the trailer in the lot and rode the snowmobiles to the house and just left them at the house for the week and rode them back to the trailer at the end of the week. For us the extra logistics were well worth the house and its wonderful location!! Also, Morton and Furbish are the BEST! They answer all of your questions and respond to any issues immediately! They came out and sanded the driveway for us upon request!

Great place to stay
We loved Haley Pond House. We visited in the summer. The house is clean and has a lot of games, puzzles, bocci ball, horse shoes and a ping pong table. The view of the pond is lovely and we had beautiful sunset views. There are several hang out areas and a huge deck, PLUS the screened in porch, which was fantastic. There is a loft next to the master bedroom with a pull out futon and writing desk. The location of the house is good - you can walk to downtown, but it's quiet and there's almost no traffic on Depot Road. I was worried about the ATV trail nearby, but it really wasn't an issue for traffic or noise while we were there.
We liked being on the pond, because there isn't any motorized craft on the pond, so kayaking and paddle boarding is safe and really enjoyable. You can hear the loons and bullfrogs, there are lots of birds and wildlife, compared with Rangeley Lake, which is noisier. You can paddle around the whole pond and see beaver dams and herons and water grasses - it's just beautiful. Or you can paddle to the ice cream place in town :-) Many times the pond was like glass and perfect for paddling. The dock is visible from the deck so if you have kids, you can see them hanging out.
Things to know - the basement bedroom has no window, so if you're claustrophobic, it wouldn't work. The kitchen/dining area is tight, so if you have a lot of people in the kitchen, it gets congested. Internet was spotty, which matters if you need to work from the house or want to stream something, but our AT&T signal was fine. The pond is not great for swimming. Getting in is rocky and the bottom of the pond is mucky. Then, once you're out there, there's a lot of seaweed and lily pads. If you're going to swim, bring water shoes, or paddle out and then hop off your board in a clear spot.

Haley Pond House
Could have used more towels.
There was no wood for fire pit which was nonexistent.
Everything was just as stated online . Any issues that we had were understandable and taken care of immediately by morton and furnish ! The beds were comfortable and house was clean and well equipped.Probably wouldn’t pay the money to rent in the summer as the pond is shallow and weedy not the best for swimming or fishing. But local fishing is good .
This lake house is AMAZING! The view was very nice, and it was overall a very relaxing trip. Also, the staff were very nice, and replied to our questions lightning fast. Plus, the fishing was very good as well, we caught a giant brook and rainbow trout, and we had a great dinner! Lastly, haley pond was great for kayaking and swimming. However, there was only the double kayak there, and the other two single kayaks were missing, but it wasn't a big deal, as there was rentals nearby. We look forward for a second trip here!
