Location, location, location!

We thoroughly enjoyed this spacious farmhouse with the covered porch and nice lawns down to the lake. There was plenty of room for all of us, and it was an easy walk to all the stores and restaurants, especially the Corner Bar! Beautiful Older Home in town

Perfect location! walk to everything, plenty of room, great porch! on the water but far enough you don't have to worry about the little ones, huge yard! playground nearby. We all enjoyed our stay. Few minor complaints. Downstairs bedroom mattress, not comfortable according to my elderly parents. Middle upstairs bedroom mattress needs upgrade. My husband and I aren't large people but we tilted/rolled towards the middle of bed for whatever reason. I understand with mattresses you can't make everyone happy. Older home, stairs are step, keep in mind for older people. Clean and had everything we needed. :)

Charming place near lake, town; quick drive to Saddleback

Our extended family enjoyed our time here. We would consider a repeat in future years. Cozy, charming old house. A little shy on baths for 6 bedrooms, but workable for the right group. TV setup worked well. Ample parking for a big group. Looks like it would be fun in the summer.

Great getaway

Great place for a Group Trip

My ski group rented this house and skied both Sugarloaf and Sunday River. Sugarloaf is only a 1/2 hour away while Sunday River is closer to 1 1/2 hours away. The great thing about this house is its location. Rangeley is a great little town and you can walk pretty much everywhere in Rangeley from the house. Some great restaurants and bars. After a hard day of skiing this house proved to be a great place for my ski group of 6.

Great location and very clean

We had a wonderful stay over New Year's! We had three families with kids and the house had plenty of space to accommodate us all, with the exception of a dining table big enough for all of us at once. The house was very clean, we loved the location. The house is a bit old (doors that don't quite close, creaky uneven floors, etc) which is charming but not quite clear from the description and didn't align with the high prices that we paid. But overall we loved it and would consider staying again in the future.

This property was absolutely perfect for our family get together. It allowed for our family to gather and enjoy the downtown location. The home had every possible item needed to gather with a large group. Our adult children absolutely loved the cozy home and being in walking distance to all of the stores and restaurants. Beyond expectations, well equipped with all cooking utensils, glasses, plates & wonderful floor plan for our Family of six

This was our forth year. Once there, we walked every where. Used cars to drive to hiking trials near by. Very relaxing vacation for whole Family of six with four grandchildren. Love visiting Rangeley every year.

Amazing Home & Location

This house was the perfect location for our days in the Rangeley area. Neat and clean, plenty of room to spread out inside and outside with the large yard and beautiful view of the lake. Porch is perfect to sit in rocking chairs and relax or you can take a nap in the shade in the hammock beneath the trees. Nice fire pit, access to the dock for kayaking or paddle boarding. Lots of games for kids & adults! with cornhole, foosball table, air hockey and board games. Would go back again for sure.

The Lake House was fantastic! Great location. Easy access to everything. Plenty of parking. Was clean and had all needed amenities. We had a mix of adults and kids and there was plenty of SEPERATE space for all! Would/will definitely rent again!

Wonderful week spent here with 13 family members! House was so clean comfy and spacious! Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful yard to dock, exceptional location walking distance to town. Spectacular lake great for boating. Would return in a heartbeat

Always the perfect spot.

Another exceptional week at Village Walk on Rangeley lake. Two families and adult kids with plenty of room for 10. 3 private rooms that sleep 2, one full size bed with bunks in the room— the rest are twins. We bring our jet skis that we are able to leave right at the private dock. The paddle boards, kayaks, canoe and paddle boat all get lots of use! Love the convenience of the walk into town. See you next summer!!

Thanks for a wonderful week!

This is our third stay at Village Walk. The house is the perfect size for our family of 10. There is plenty of room for us to be all together, or for people to space out when we needed a break from the chaos (HA HA!). It's a beautiful property. We especially loved sitting in the rockers on the porch with a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. The house is close enough to town to walk to check out the shops and, of course, Pine Tree Frosty. Sarge's and The Red Onion are great places to eat as well. We have stayed at many other places on the lake, but Village Walk is definitely one of our favorites.

Village Walk in the winter

We stayed mid-March 2021 primarily to ski at Saddleback. Because we booked late, we could not find a suitable place near the ski resort that had enough bedrooms and fit our budget. We were very happy staying at Village Walk. The home at the end of Lake St., so it is walking distance to restaurants and boutiques in town and has unobstructed views of the Lake. This includes beautiful sunsets! It's only a 15 minute drive to the mountain (shorter or longer depending on weather conditions) so really not remote. The gas fireplace is well designed - designed to look almost like a real wood fire, unlike some gas fireplaces. The number of bedrooms and actual beds is quite substantial and the house is divided with separate staircases and multiple interior walls so it's possible to have a couple families stay together and preserve a good amount of privacy. Morton & Furbish were very helpful and responsive during our stay - we needed some things printed and a cast iron pan, and they were able to provide both.
