Great house - major lack of supplies and nit-picky, confusing policies

The house itself was a great location, ample space, great pool, easy drive to resort's community pool. However, the main issue was a lack of basic supplies to meet the demands of the stated policies in the home and confusion about policies being different in each form of communication. The "starter kit" was ridiculously minimal. A starter kit for a week stay was 1 roll of tp and 1 tiny bar of soap per bthrm, (no kitchen soap), 1 roll of papertowel, 1 dish washing packet, 1 13 gal garbage bag, 10 bath towels (no pool towels). This was not enough to sustain a grp of 10 even for a couple days. And, who wants to go buy boxes of detergent/trash bags/ etc for a week stay to be left with those at the end. The policies and lack of providing basic supplies led to confusion and a feeling we would be nickeled and dimed. Some of the stated policies...1. garbage HAS TO BE put out daily and in 13 gallon bags or there will be charge ~$100, 2. We must run and put away all dishes b4 ck out or be charged (Typically, it is customary to start the load but not put away. I was also woken up at 12am with a text the night before departing reminding me to wash and put away dishes or Id be charged, however in my email only loading was required.) 3. We will be charged if we change thermostat above 74. 4. We will be charged if a towel is missing (understandable, but the home was already missing 8 wash clothes/hand towels according to what they stated.) 5. Ck in directions were confusing bc they were different in 2 different emails. The lack of an ample starter kit, coupled with demands of needing more specific supplies, cost an extra $30. The cost isnt the issue, it is the idea that supplying basic necessities could meet the needs of guests, but the management company chooses not to. Additionally, I messaged the company that the door looked previously broken into and repaired, which did not feel safe bc there was a large, re-glued crack surrounding the locks on the door jam and there were no plates reinforcing the locks. I requested a metal plate be installed as a quick fix, as one strong kick could break the door easily. Once I sent the requested pictures, I was told not to worry bc I wouldnt be charged, nothing referencing the safey, even though I never stated a concern about being charged, only about the safety. Their response added to the feeling of being nicked and dimed. Cleanliness of the house was great, but sheets/towels were stained and needed replacing.

Terrible stay do not recommend this place for anybody bedbugs ants the maintenance was terrible if you are smart you would stay away And find a different place to stay They are crooks

Great getaway house

Property was great and was clean. About a 25 minute to all of the Disney Parks. Would definitely stay here again!

With Windsor at Westside being a large resort community, driving is definitely the easiest choice to get to the Clubhouse area. We do regret any time lost to the gate access system, as it is brand-new and the community is still working out the technical kinks in the transition. house is ok for adults

this house had a nice layout for 4 adults 3 kids. the house was not cleaned well before we arrived. We found pizza plates and soda cans in the bedrooms and Easter candy in and under the sofa. The bedroom sheet were not clean when we arrived. We requested towels but they were never delivered. The management team doesn't not respond after you rent this house if you need assistance. I felt the basics in this house was missing. The area had a lot of trash laying around in the yard. We attempted to call security many times due to fighting in the area but the security guards would not answer the phone and you can't leave a message. I would not return to this area with kids again.

However, the neighborhood of Westwind was a 1 out of 5. The neighbors were wild, loud and we even saw them drag racing and had to cal the police. I did not feel comfortable with my children being outside alone. We will not stay at this property again.

Great getaway!

Beautiful home! Perfect size for our family. Pool was perfect and got sun from day to night being a corner home. Pool was heated perfectly. Kids loved the themed bedrooms. Master bedroom was massive. Lazy river was he did but did not have any floating rings. Large pool was heated nicely. Kitchen was really large in the dining room table accommodated all of us. Only downside is full size bed downstairs was very uncomfortable to sleep on.
