Our week at the cabin

My family and I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! It was my immediate family, my husband and I with our two toddlers, my brothers family that included an 8-year-old and 5-year-old and both my parents. All basic needs were met in the house and outside was a great place for all the children to explore safely! The playground was a short walk from the cabin. We got to see wildlife throughout our time there and it was the perfect way to unplug from the business of life and work. We have already been talking about planning our next visit!!

Wonderful Stay

We booked this place because it was between two of our adult children's locations. We wanted somewhere we could all get together and just spend time. This was a wonderful place because it allowed for all of us to just visit, watch a movie, play games, or play outside. We had three full days with our six children and 3 grandchildren. It was spacious enough that we did not feel we were on top of each other but allowed common space for us to be together. The ages ranged from 1-44. It is secluded enough that we could be loud without fear of disturbing others. The check in process was completely seamless. The amenities were great. There was chopped wood for us to use (because we forgot our bundle). I do wish there was an axe located so we could have restocked the supply. Overall, a great trip had by our family.

Rustic Cabin in the Woods

Great place to get away after spending the day on the lake. Inside was spotless and comfortable. Outside was rustic. Has a cornhole set which the family enjoyed.

wonderful place!

It was a bit rainy during our stay but we definately were able to get out and explore the property + enjoyed the fire in the evening. Great place! It was well secluded as I had hoped. Numerous projects ongoing around the property but no major noise issues or anything, but be prepared for that, it didn't detract from our time there.

Great family weekend

We stayed here for my sons birthday with family and spent Saturday out on Smith Mountain Lake. We pushed it in terms of capacity with 11 family members, but it was really perfect for a shorter stay. Would be good in the fall for a campfire and was relatively remote. We had a good weekend!

Secluded Cabin

We loved the cabin and the location. The cabin was well stocked and clean, although the outside was a little dirty. Obviously it will be dirty outside but the table really could have used a power washing. However, this didn’t affect our stay. The owners contacted us a couple days before our trip and let us know everything we needed to know ahead of time. We enjoyed the dock although the walk back up the hill is quite the workout! Overall it was a great trip!

Girls Weekend

My friends and I stayed here for a girls trip before one of us gets married, it was so cozy and fun. We had no issues with the place or manager, it was a completely perfect weekend getaway!

Enjoyed the seclusion of the cabin.

Truly enjoyed nature and such a large outdoor space to spread out. The cabin was very cozy we had 10 guest overall. The weather was perfect. I would definitely book again.

Perfect and quiet getaway!

This cabin was perfect for our family's weekend getaway! We just wanted a cozy cabin to relax in, spend time with each other, and play fun board games. And this cabin delivered!! Super clean and spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked it kitchen gadgets and cookware. The outside was so pretty and we want in the middle of winter so I can't even imagine how pretty it is in the summer! The beds were so comfy and the shower was crazy cool! We'll definitely be back!
