5 Bed 4 Bath Waterfront Home on Deep Water Cove Ideally located by car or boat!

Large Lake cottage, Ideal for multi-generation families and adults with children, located within the proximity of four marinas where guests are welcome to rent boats. It’s also close to four wineries. Only 20 minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway near the “Peaks of Otter.” Close by Smith Mountain Lake Park with a ton of hiking trails. 30 minutes from Roanoke. Booker T Washington National Monument is also nearby as well as a D-Day Memorial in Bedford. Va.

The home is located at the back of a wide cove. There are two Master Bedroom Suites with queen beds, 1 bedroom with two queen beds, a room with 2 twin beds, and a bunk room with two twin over double bunks. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker and a microwave. Dining table has 8 chairs and breakfast bar has two stools. The family room has a wood-burning fireplace and a large Screen TV. The house has a screened-in porch and a deck with a stainless steel propane grill. Please clean grill after each use and make sure gas is cut off at the tank. We try to keep an eye on the propane level but if the gas runs out, please exchange the tank and send us a picture of the receipt and new tank and we will be happy to reimburse you.

Lower level bunk/rec room with non working fireplace, books, toys, games, Professional foosball table, large Screen TV . The lower level is where the washer and dryer and second refrigerator with ice maker are located. The dock is stationary with a party deck and a gate that allows for the thrill of diving of the dop dock. Grab some smores and gather around the firepit down by the lake! Firewood can be purchased usually at Foodlion or convenient stores in Moneta or feel free to bring your own.

The property was perfect! We used the outside top deck and the paddle boards. The kitchen was fully stocked and marked so we knew where everything went. We had no issues with our stay!!

Not worth it, decent house but view wasn’t the best. Inflexible with water levels being very low, cleaning expectations might as well mop and clean the windows too . Not terrible but not the greatest either.

The house was nice and on the lake with its own boat dock. There are a lot of stairs to get down to the dock. The bedrooms were accommodating; some were not very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and everything had its own place in the cabinets, and each cabinet was labelled for each item.The refrigerator does not have filtered drinking water and the water from the spigot is well water. You might want to take bottled water.The interior painting of the house looks as if it was a hurried job. Several places were paint over wallpaperOverall, it was a good place to stay.The property isn't close to town.

We rented this house for a 3 generation lake visit for Spring Break this year, and the house exceeded our expectations in many areas!From a first floor owners suite which is perfect tor some more mobility challenged guests to a basement gameroom that was a secluded away space for kids, this property has many separate nooks and spaces that provide a great deal of flexibility for larger groups to not feel in each other's business all the time.The walk down to the lake/boathouse is a bit steep, so be prepared for that, but the multi-level.boar house deck is absolutely lovely for hanging out or enjoying a quiet morning or evening, and the nearby fire pit was a family favorite for bonfires by the lakefront.Of many of the VRBOs/houses we have stayed in, the kitchen here was top notch, both with being outfitted with good equipment, in good functioning order (the knives were fairly sharp, a common oversight we've seen), and everything was clearly labeled to aid in both finding things and putting them back away.The location here is great for exploring the upper Roanoke channel of SML, being a quick 5 min boat ride over to Bridgewater or down lake to th State Park, as well as in an easy driving distance to several local restaurants and wineries.The owners were very attentive and responsive throughout the booking process, and had procidrd clear and detailed documentation on how to use various things or when to call with issues!

Very secluded, peaceful and quiet. Extremely family friendly. Very clean, neat and extremely well organized. Had everything we needed to cook for all of us. Everyone had a great time! Grandkids had a blast, even caught some fish. The property exceeded our expectations.

We had a great time at LakeLubbers!! Plenty of room for our party of 8, with fully stocked kitchen, and grill on the patio. The location is very convenient to Bridgewater Marina and shopping / restaurants, the dock was convenient for parking our boat, and the upper dock was a hit with the kiddos!!

Great house!

It was a beautiful home on a great part of the lake! It was a little hard with little ones and all the steps (double decker dock, three floors at the house) but - if you had older children only it was perfect!!!

The house was very nice. Very clean. Perfect for our two families. We enjoyed jumping off the top deck. The kayaks were a great bonus. We even had some baby racoons on the deck !!

Glad you enjoyed your time at our lake house. We haven't seen the baby racoons before, but there is a family of deer that are often in the yard and an otter that lives down in the rip rap by the dock.

Great home

The house was very nice and very clean! We loved using the kayaks and the fire pit. The screened in porch was such a plus! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need!
