This is a cozy and comfortable stay that's in a great central location for exploring different parts of the UP. Jen is a friendly and communicative host, and I'd gladly stay here again.
We had a great weekend stay here, owner was kind, clear, and responsive to questions. Cottage was comfortable, clean, and as described. Great location, convenient to many nature destinations.
My family and I came up for rock hunting. We really enjoyed our stay. Very cute little place. Had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.
The property was clean, conveniently located, and had a well-stocked kitchen so we coukd wat our meals in with just a simple grocery run. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
Really nice probably best for 2-3 adults max but nice.

It was a wonderful little cozy place to have a getaway weekend. We hiked Tahquamenon falls and this place was a wonderful refuge for our exhausted bodies.
In particular the shower was amazing. We love to cook and all of the kitchen amenities really sealed our enjoyment.
We enjoyed our stay at Jen’s cabin; cozy, quaint, and well equipped! Perfect location as a home base for daily road trips and exploration (e.g. Mackinac Island, Salute Ste Marie, St. Ignace, Tahquamenon Falls, etc). Newberry was a quiet little town and nice folks.
We had a great stay at this cozy little cabin as we explored nearby outdoor attractions! We especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was; we hardly had to use any of our own stuff! Would definitely come back!
We found the VRBO cabin in Newberry to be cozy, cute, and quiet. Its location is ideal for exploring the Upper Peninsula and the beautiful shores of Lake Superior. Everything inside the cabin was clean and in working order. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much!
My buddy and I decided last minute that we needed 1 more weekend of snowmobiling this year. This place was perfect for our needs and the owner is great to work with. We'll be back!
The cabin was cute and cozy, well stocked and very clean. Jen was an excellent host. Flawless communication, very friendly and very patient with me. I would gladly stay again and would highly recommend for anyone else.
Found this gem last minute. Jen was wonderful and always helpful. The directions were perfect. If we could had rode our sleds it would be a great place to park our truck and trailer. We will check here first for our next trip.

Small but very decent. Wi-Fi is spotty but we didn’t care.
We stayed in this adorable little cabin for just one night. It was "layover" during a loooooong drive!
Check in was quick and simple. The cabin was clean and cute and well stocked for our family. We felt safe and comfortable there. We arrived VERY late at night and I was able to immediately enter the cabin and locate extra blankets and pillows to get my 2 kids situated and asleep within moments.
Quick cup of coffee in the morning and we were gone!
Thank you for a safe, comfortable and cute place for my family to rest!
I booked hotels in different areas to view the UP for the week. Given the drive time between attractions, I wish I had just booked this cabin for the entire week instead. You are pretty much 2 hours at the longest from each attraction, if that.
The cabin is very clean and has anything you might need to cook a few meals for yourself. TV with wifi. You want the wifi, good luck with signal in the UP.
Jen our host was wonderful. It was storming and she set up our cabin prior to our arrival. This has been my best VRBO experience so far.

This is an amazing choice if you're looking to book! "Ms. Jen," as my son called her, :) keeps the cabin fully stocked and equipped with everything you can imagine for a comfortable stay. It was a wonderful place to return to after long days of sight-seeing. We will come back, and we will book here again!! Thank you, Ms. Jen!

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Stolberg
I just recently purchased a beautiful house with a detached cabin on the property. The cabin allows me to share the wonderful place I call home, with others. There are few places like the picturesque beauty and serenity of Michigan's UP. I have often thought about having a vacation rental and am now making it a reality!
Why they chose this property
The cabin is downtown Newberry, so it's convenient to walk, bike, ride your snowmobile or ATV from the cabin to anywhere downtown.
The cabin is knotty pine and beautifully rustic looking with modern amenities.
What makes this property unique
Newberry is more affordable and within easy driving distance of many of the UP's main attractions; ie., Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinac Island, Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks.
