Nicely furnished and well equipped this cozy cottage is right on the beach, just go down the stairs from your private oceanfront deck and you are there, toes in the sand! This beach home was showcased on HGTV Beachfront Bargain Hunt.

Single Level: Great room with TV/DVD, dining room seating 6 with ocean view and oceanfront sun deck access and a galley style kitchen with ocean views. Queen Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV and private bathroom with stand-up shower and a Queen Bedroom with flat-screen TV that shares a full bathroom with a Bedroom with a Double Bed and flat-screen TV. Laundry area with washer and dryer.

Extras: 4 TVs, DVD player, high-speed wireless internet, deck furniture, enclosed outside shower, direct TV with HBO, parking for 2 cars, CD player, Keurig Coffee, unlimited long distance calling within the US, ceiling fans, crock pot and sun deck and linens and towels provided. Really cute house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pirate Queen! It's small but well equipped and it literally sits directly on the beach. And with John's Drive In right across the street, the location couldn't have been better!

Weather was terrible!

House was perfect, especially for the dogs and connivence to the beach! House was big, but served us very well. Only complaint was that the beds were horrible. Please think about investing in some new mattresses!

Beach cottage

We love this place. We’ve been staying here for over 30 years, The renovations that were done several years ago were such a welcome surprise. They are starting to show their age (caulking etc). We always go this time of year, so we understand that it’s end of season and upgrades will be done during off-season. The dishwasher and oven are prob due to be replaced or at least repaired. The housekeeping seemed to be rushed through, lots of sand in the window sills, under the ottoman, in the corners, and several missing pillow cases. Also lightbulbs out in oven, over stove, no 3 ways in living room lamps, and batteries missing is some bedroom tv remotes. Front stairs have been redone, unfortunately not to code and they are hard to get up, short steps, and the last one is tall and hard to manage esp w/bags. One year I asked if they would put a gate (similar to the back deck) and I would pay for it. I was hopeful with the new steps that the gate would be waiting around the corner, but no. Maybe the msg didn’t get passed from the mgmt co to the owner. One year my dog ran out the front door down the street, across beach road and got hit. Thankfully he survived but It ruined our vacation and could’ve been worse. It just makes sense and the offer still stands! The back deck is coming apart at the corner, and the steps are slanted down/lagging, probably a storm has taken the sand away, and I’m sure they will be building that back up. I have pictures if the owners want me to send.
