This charming one story cottage sits on a quiet private road on the desirable Nubble peninsula - home to the iconic Nubble Lighthouse and Dunne's Ice cream, making this an ideal spot to enjoy all that York Beach has to offer without sacrificing privacy and relaxation.
The cottage features an open-concept kitchen and living room and 3 bedrooms, all with air conditioning. Step outside and enjoy the front and back deck for coffee, outdoor dining or relaxing in the coastal air.
After the beach, the private outdoor shower is always a guest favorite!
Amenities include air conditioning in all bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer. Linens and bath towels provided. Beach towels and Beach Chairs available, Outdoor gas grill, Private outdoor shower, Indoor porch and two decks with outdoor seating. Parking for two cars. This cottage is warm, inviting, and family-friendly friendly. The home is thoughtfully cleaned and well cared for between each stay.

Fantastic Family Getaway

Great location, well kept and friendly hosts!

Really enjoyable 5 night stay. Location is central in York and walkable to most highlights. The property is very clean and had everything you would need. I think if there is one thing to mention, an a/c in the livingroom/kitchen would be a great addition. Worth the stay!

Perfect family vacation spot!

Stayed at this lovely, clean, organized and kid (especially smaller)-friendly home close to all of the best York spots. It’s quiet, well-kept and had plenty of spaces for my family of 4 to sleep. Kathleen was incredibly responsive and helpful. We hope to stay here again!

Couldn’t ask for more!

Our family has nothing but good things to say about our time here. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood out on the “Nubble”. Both Long Sands and Short Sands Beaches are within walking distances as is the Nubble lighthouse. Just a nice quiet place to stay.

Family Vacation

The property was just as described, neighbor was quite and safe for the kids, arms length away from Short Sands Beach with so much to do along with Long Sands Beach, the Nubble Light house , and York Zoo! Seller was always available if needed, absolutely recommend!

Great stay, great location!

We had a great stay at Kathleen's property. It was just as described. We were four adults and we fit just fine. The location was great - we loved walking to Nubble Light and Dunne's. We also walked to Long Sands easily. Communication with Kathleen was 10/10. She was great about sharing information ahead of time and very responsive when we had a few questions our first day. Thanks so much!

Lovely home, very well equipped. Enjoyed the front porch in the late afternoon. Especially enjoyed the huge outdoor shower. Table on the back porch just right for breakfast! Easy walk to the Nubble lighthouse and Yummy Dunnes ice cream. Happy vacation!!!

The house was just as advertised and more. It was very clean and completely furnished for our convenience. The owner was easy to interact with when needed! It was a great home for us, and our daughters 1st vacation!

Hi, I'm Kathleen, and I've been sharing our York Beach cottage with guests for several years. We truly enjoy hosting and take pride in keeping the home well cared for and welcoming for each stay. The cottage has been a special place for our family and we love that guests can enjoy the same experience, whether it's spending the day at the beach, walking to the Nubble Lighthouse and Dunne's, or relaxing on the decks after a full day.
We have been fortunate to host wonderful guests over the years and look forward to continuing that tradition.

The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and truly relaxing. You'll hear birds chirping and enjoy calm mornings and evenings away from the crowds. It's a special place for us - my granddaughter even learned to ride her bike here. We've seen deer pass through our yard, and at night the stars are beautiful when you're sitting on the deck. While it feels tucked away and serene, you're still just minutes from the beaches, restaurants, and everything York Beach has to offer.
