Recientemente REDUCIDO semanas restante de agosto y otoño. Esta adorable casa de campo se encuentra a poca distancia de Long Beach y a una cuadra de Short Sands. Estarás de acuerdo en que esta casa es la ubicación perfecta.

Grande, luminoso cerrado porche delantero le da la bienvenida a esta casa de playa clásico, donde te gusta pasar el rato después de un día en la playa.
Los colores azules y verdes de vidrio del mar le dan la bienvenida a casa todos los días cuando entras en la luminosa sala de estar, comedor y dos dormitorios pintaste cheerfullly techo y barnizado todos los pisos de madera! Ventoso tema de playa sala de estar con sofá cama (si un amigo se detiene por), televisión y WiFi. Tener una gran comida en este encantador comedor con aparador de porcelana incorporado. En los días calurosos de locos raros, el aire acondicionado le ayudará a refrescarse.

2 habitaciones con 2 camas matrimoniales y una cama individual. Con todas las habitaciones de una sola planta, esta es una gran opción para todos. TV y WiFi incluido.

Esta cocina soleada también tiene una lavadora y secadora.

El baño está recién pintada como el sol suave donde se puede disfrutar de una ducha o un baño con comodidad.

¡La entrada trasera hace que descargar víveres e ir a la playa sea muy fácil!

Hay un pequeño patio trasero donde puede usar nuestra parrilla todas las noches para comidas fáciles en la mesa de picnic. También tenemos aparcamiento camino de entrada para 2 autos.

Tan cerca del grupo de juego y las tiendas del centro, a pocas calles de Long Sands Beach. A poca distancia del faro de la protuberancia pequeña. Sólo hay que pasar por la colina para disfrutar de todo el centro de la playa de York, con su quiosco de música, Ellis Park, parque infantil, canchas de baloncesto, tiendas, y chicloso vara de oro!

Property is just as described. Walk to beach was short and sweet. You end up on the less crowded end of Sands Beach which is amazing in itself. Sarah is such an amazing host. We were able to check in early and she checked in when we got there to be sure everything was just as we needed and had expected. She is a text away and you can tell wants your stay to be the beach get away you anticipated.

Short sands visit

Cottage is extremely convenient to access both beaches, especially walking to short sands. Easy walk for our 6 and 4yr olds at the end of a long beach day. Quiet property with everything together on one level. AC unit and fans were more than effective at keeping the cottage comfortable. Outdoor shower was fantastic for the whole family and screened in porch meant all the sand was easy to keep outside. Sarah was a stone’s throw away and immediately accessible.

Beautiful stay!

Everyrhing we needed and just a walk down the hill to the beach. Loved the space, the outdoor shower, having laundry right there and such a great host! Will be back to this rental!

Perfect location!

We loved our stay at Sarah’s cottage. It is in the perfect location, within walking distance to short AND long sands, and off the main road just enough to feel more private/quiet. We walked into town and to the beach every day, and it was so nice to be so close. The outdoor shower was great and a nice way to wash away all the sand after a day at the beach. The house felt roomier than I thought it would be. Plenty of space for us and the open layout was perfect for keeping an eye on our daughter while we cooked. We also really loved the front porch and ate most meals out there. Sarah was super responsive and easy to work with. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Location

Great location to both of the beaches. Just a short walk down the hill to the shops and restaurants. The cottage was charming and had all the amenities we needed. Sarah was great with communicating by phone but sadly we did’nt get to meet her. We would rent this cottage again.

Charming and comfortable beach house!

This cute beach house has great amenities and is within walking distance to the beach! The front porch is airy and comfortable. Loved the addition of the outdoor shower. The best part is that it is so close to the beach and downtown but tucked in just enough from the Main Street. Sarah was quick and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, great space

This location is great! We were able to walk to both Short Sands and Long Sands. The screened-in porch got a ton of use. Traffic could get a little loud (motorcycles in the summer) but overall we were very happy with this house and landlord.

Wonderful week at thr beach

We loved everything about this cottage. It was well equipped, roomy and close to lots of activities. We would definitely recommend to another family looking to make a week worth of memories in York!

So close to the beach

Sarah was terrific to work with from the very first inquiry. Cute cottage in walking distance to the beach. Beds were comfortable and ac kept the place cool.

Wonderful!

This home was perfect for our family of 4, it was clean on arrival, it was exactly as listed. It is great location, easy walking distance to Short Sands beach, the owner Sarah was excellent to work with, not intrusive but easy to contact for anything we needed. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the property ! the location is unbeatable , so close to short sands and all the restaurants. The large porch was perfect for unloading and storing beach gear , it was perfect for morning coffee before the beach.

GREAT LOCATION!

We had a great time at Short Sands Beach which we walked to daily along with fun walks to The Goldenrod for salt water taffy! The location of this cottage is great for a beach getaway in Maine! It was a good size for my family of four. We spent most of our time in the screened in front room and were very lucky with the weather during our stay - 80s and sunny!

A great place to stay that's close to the beach.

I have stayed in York several times but always at a motel. This year because of the Covid-19 virus I decided to rent a house. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the beach. Sarah contacted me several days before my trip and sent a welcome booklet and list what I should pack and places that she and her family liked to visit while in town. I really enjoyed my stay. She also checked in with once I arrived to make sure everything was as I expected it to be and it was. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great house, perfect location!

I have been coming to York Beach since I was a child. This house is in a great location, a short walk to Short Sands beach, the Nubble Lighthouse, and the Goldenrod. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us (2 adults & 2 children (ages 10 & 6). The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The house was very clean and well-maintained. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful memories at York Beach - great house and location!

We stayed in York at this property August 2019, we are a family of 4 with two kids ages 10 and 11. What a wonderful vacation. First off, Sarah was excellent with communication from the moment I booked, when we arrived, while there and when we left. Couldn't be more pleased with that. It's always a little nerve-wracking when renting, so nice to have someone so attentive. The house was perfect for a family our size! Big enough that we had our own space and didn't feel on top of each other but a nice, cozy cottage feel. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer was a HUGE bonus. We used the grill and little outside area too. Honestly, my favorite part of the whole house was the front screened-in porch, it was nice and roomy. I had my coffee out there every morning, so peaceful and we spent a lot of time out there after the beach and in the evenings. As far as location, you can't beat it! We were close to everything. We only took the car out once for a day trip and other than that we walked or rode bikes. I recommend a bike ride to Nubble, down Long sands and then shorts especially first thing in the morning, gorgeous. Being so close to both Short and Long Sands was really nice. We did both beaches! I would definitely rent from Sarah again. Thanks again!

Wonderful Stay

Stayed at this cozy cottage for a few months and very much enjoyed my stay. Short Sands beach is just a short walk away and the nubble lighthouse is about a mile walk. The property is conveniently located close to the village shops, restaurants and groceries. Its only a few minute drive to Ogunquit and the Marginal Way area as well. The house was clean and comfortable. The owners were fantastic and took excellent care of me and made sure the house was ready upon arrival. I highly recommend the cottage especially for the summer months.

Perfect location in York Beach!

My husband and I rented this house two summers ago and we've rented the little home over the winters for my parents as well. Sarah and Herb (and their family) are the best and are so friendly, kind, and a pleasure to deal with. The house is so sweet and comfortable and in a perfect location between the two beaches and with Nubble Light within walking distance as well. It just takes a minute or two to walk down to the beach and the York Beach area is so lovely -- plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries, and fun things to do at night, too. Much nicer to stay here and have the house to yourself than a crowded inn or B&B -- we had lobsters and wine on the porch on a summer night and could hear the band that was playing in the gazebo on the beach, it was so peaceful and fun. Highly recommended!!

Just what we needed!

My husband and I with our 2 year old boy rented this property for the fist time this past 4th of July week. This house was exactly what we were looking for. It's location was perfect. A short walk to short sands beach and all the restaurants and shops, but also not so far from long sands either. The house was stocked with everything we needed and very clean. There were plenty of beds/sleeping space and I liked the fact that all the rooms were located on one floor for our little guy. The enclosed porch was my favorite spot of the week. A great space to start my day with a cup of tea or to take an afternoon nap. Sarah and Herb were always very responsive and so welcoming and kind. We booked the house as soon as we left for the following year and can't wait to spend the week with our soon to be family of 4 :-) We highly recommend renting this property.

3rd year in a row

My wife and my two boys (2yo and 6yo) have rented this property for the last two summers in August. It is perfectly located and a very short walk to the ocean, park, shops and playground. We have already resevered for our third year in a row. Sarah and Herb (new owners) have always been in constant contact with us with any questions we have. They have already done a lot of renovations and it makes us even more excited to get back. The bedrooms are both good size. Big dining room and family room too. There is a fully enclosed porch with plenty of seating and windows on three sides to allow nice breezes to come in. We highly recommend renting this property.

Herb has been vacationing in York with his family since he was a child. We love York Beach and our proud to share our houses with our special guests so they can enjoy this magical town with their families every year. We are so pleased to have guests come back every year to our houses and now consider these houses an important part of their family tradition! The location of our houses were chosen to be convenient to both beaches AND the downtown food and fun. Welcome to a great vacation!

You can't beat this location! Just steps to Short Sands area and walking distance to Long Sands and Nubble Light - you cant go wrong. AND you get a full house all to yourself with an actual living room, dinning room and kitchen you can spread out and not feel closed in. You will love being here!
