One-of-a-Kind artistic home, located within walking distance of downtown Alamosa. Custom cabinetry & wood work throughout, granite counters, & specialized lighting & fixtures are a treat! Master suite includes full bathroom with updates, washer/dryer, & walk-in closet. The original garage has been converted to a family room that offers brick walls, beautiful artwork, & wood trusses for a stylish place to relax. The family room offers a luxury memory foam king mattress with all bedding included. The exterior features a fully xeroscaped yard, privacy fence, & large patio area.

This rental includes FREE admission to Sand Dunes Recreation Hot Springs for up to 4 guests during your entire stay. Sand Dunes Recreation is located 30 minutes north of Alamosa.

Comfortable Bungalow close to Great Sand Dunes NP

This 1913 craftsman style bungalow was very comfortable with updated, modern fixtures. Donnie and Carly had great communications and the stay met all my expectations. The bungalow was very quiet at night, yet so close to Main Street in Alamosa. It is also very convenient to visit Great Sand Dunes National Park. I would recommend this stay for anyone wanting to visit this beautiful national park.

Fun and short walk to downtown

Loved all the unique woodwork and charm in this home. Bed was super comfortable and everything very clean. Easy short walk to grab food, coffee, and hit up some shops. Also a short walk to Safeway for some groceries. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FREE PASSES TO HOT SPRINGS! We loved it! The Greenhouse is such a vibe and very relaxing. Definitely plan on staying again on our next visit.

Great place!

Wonderful home with unique customized furniture throughout the establishment. Definitely not like staying at a traditional rental property with inexpensive furniture and decor. Also, great that cabinets are stocked with spices, coffee, baggies for cooking and eating. Most places I’ve stayed everything is emptied in between guests. Within walking distance to Main Street for dinner and coffee. Best place to stay for sand dunes and hot springs. The character of the house made our trip even better. Highly recommend!

No Really! One of a Kind!

This house has the most beautiful woodwork. Someone truly loves their craft. It is a wonder to walk through. And the house is well furnished throughout ! It has enough seating in every room, and the beds are quality. My partner and I slept on the memory-foam pull-out bed and were very comfortable. Our host responded to any questions quickly, provided passes for the Oasis at Sanddunes Rec Center, and we had an easy check in and out. Thank you!

Wonderful Property

As a vrbo owner, I truly understand the importance of how an owner keeps up with and presents their property. We could not have asked for better. The property was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The appointments and woodwork were excellent and we enjoyed sitting at the bar and watching the wide screen TV while cooking, eating, playing games or just hanging out. The living room was also very inviting for the same activities or just relaxing. The outdoor patio areas were also great. We will likely be back again. Thank you for everything and your responsiveness to our inquiries.

Quiet, Clean, and Comfortable

Impressive custom wood and metal work on doors, staircase, light fixtures, cabinets, and kitchen bar/counter. Right down to the toilet paper holder--a finish-work carpenter spent a great deal of time here. The owner opened space in a load-bearing wall and spanned the ceiling there with 4" I-Beam steel. He used lengths of that same steel to support a granite bar and counter. The bar/counter is trimmed with wood containing inlays of multiple species. Window air conditioner installed in living room, but did not need it. Appreciated access to an attached 2-car garage. Quiet. Convenient access to downtown and university. Stayed 3 nights. Very enjoyable.

Wonderful Place!

This is the second time we have rented this house for the weekend and we will keep coming back. This house is so unique and gives you that small town feeling with the luxury of a modern appearance. It's a great place to stay in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Loved staying at this place!

A great find!

My husband booked this home, but asked me to write the review. So here it is… From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcomed & relaxed! We were very pleased with what this home had to offer. It’s roomy, yet cozy. The eclectic furnishings were a special touch. The furniture, as well as the bed, were very comfortable. For me, the bed pillows get 5 stars! The patio provided a spot to sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. I also appreciated the attached garage. Easy in, easy out. The location was good for us as we were visiting family in Antonito. It’s conveniently located to shops, restaurants, and markets. Needless to say, our stay was very enjoyable.

Great House / Great Stay

Stayed in Alamosa as a jumping off point for Great Sand Dunes National Park. Found this listing on VRBO - and it looked very nice. It certainly exceeded expectations. Beautiful home with incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. Very unusual but very comfortable and relaxing spaces. The owners were super responsive. Walkable to everything in town. Nice quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend if in the Alamosa area.

Crazy great house!

No detail was left undone...Great house and a great remodel...We came for business to buy some property and start a new business and this house was a great landing spot. Will stay here again the next time...and there will be a next time :-)
