It was a beautiful cottage in a great setting. Owner was very nice. The location is great as well since we had good access to the beach and to downtown Savannah. Highly recommend!

Perfect little get-a-way!

This adorable cottage was perfect for our little trip to Savannah. It was on a very quiet street where we heard zero noise. The cottage had absolutely everything we could've needed for our stay. It is so clean and tastefully decorated with a perfect mix of updated coastal cottage colors and eclectic pieces. Interacting with the chickens was a bonus! Our host, Jennifer Jo, was very responsive to our texts and even provided us an extensive list of local restaurants, coffee shops, etc...upon our request. Overall, we are completely satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend.

So unique.

The cottage was so cute and the property was lovely. The oak trees, hanging moss, garden, and vibe outside was amazing. The chickens were friendly and the coop was so well thought out. The floor plan was perfect for us. Upon our arrival, we found the rental to be quite dusty, with dust that seemed to have been ignored for an extended period. The thick layer of dust covered many hard surfaces. The porch was cluttered with debris, leaving the charming old wicker furniture cushions in need of care. We did our best to clean as much as we could on the first night but ultimately had to accept the situation. Allergy medicine was needed for my sister. The cottage is a gem but needs some love. I would stay again if the deep cleaning was done more often because it was perfect otherwise.

Honeymoon Haven

Jennifer went above & beyond making our honeymoon stay special with extra touches of fresh flowers from her garden waiting for us on the table with a bottle of chilled wine & even balloons on the bedposts! The cottage & property were beautiful as described in the listing. We especially enjoyed the covered porch, the chickens & wildlife. The location was perfect if you are looking for somewhere quiet to stay with easy driving to Savannah, Tybee Island & surrounding attractions.

Serene cottage

Perfect location-close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed meeting the chickens in the coop!

The best rental I have stayed in! I played in a tennis tournament on Skidaway so it was a great location. The owner is so kind, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Peaceful, easy feeling

Cottage was fantastic...just what i was looking for. Close enough to everything but far enough away to avoid the crowds and traffic. The chickens there are awesome and had a small group of deer with a spotted fawn come thru the yard while relaxing there. The owner is really nice and easy to talk to. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for something similar. I'll definitely be staying again when I return to savannah for any future visits.

Third time and counting!

This place is a dream come true for anyone looking for beautiful, clean, cozy and peaceful place while visiting Savannah. Just about 18 minutes away from Savannah's Historic downtown and beautiful sites, the "Cottage" offers peace and tranquility to get a great night's rest and explore the surrounding areas, Savannah, or just enjoy a quiet time reading a book or watching a movie. We love to visit with the beautiful chickens in the garden. My daughter and I had everything we needed and we hope to come back and bring my Mom for her second visit to the Cottage. So grateful with the owner, who made sure our stay was just perfect.

The meticulous gardens around the house are beautiful. I felt peace the moment you walk on the property. The cottage is adorable, and well thought design. Very comfortable- I felt at home. Highly recommend! I will have extend my stay next time because I felt so rested.

Lovely little getaway spot

Cozy little cottage just as pictured. Very clean and well maintained. Located adjacent to the owner’s property. Beautiful live oaks with Spanish moss, gardens and even chickens who supply some delish eggs! Quiet atmosphere away from the city. We’ll be back hopefully next spring! Property owner/manager very kind and helpful! Thanks for a memorable weekend!

great place to stay

Two nights at this lovely cottage gave us a full day to visit Savannah. It is close enough to get to city and surrounding areas in a brief drive but out enough to have an uncrowded setting. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed a walk around a few lanes.The cottage was clean and and well appointed with the basics. There was a grocery within a short drive. The chicken coop did provide us, with the owner's permission, two fresh eggs for breakfast. We would come again if we were in the area.

Cozy cabin

Absolutely amazing! Pristine, serene and beautifully landscaped. Traveled to Savannah for a tournament and found this gem. Owner Jennifer Jo is very hospitable and helpful for any and every need. Property was inmaculate on a side quiet street. My teen son walked in and remarked, “this is the kind of house I want one day”- that is the best kind of review in itself. Stocked with books for added enjoyment. Will definitely be staying for all future tournaments in Savannah- if I can beat my friends first to the booking. Thank you for providing such a nice option on vrbo.

Comfortable and Peaceful Place

We enjoyed our time staying at the Savannah Cottage while in the area over Thanksgiving. Jennifer is a welcoming and delightful host and clearly takes great care with the cottage and the entire property. We are also short term rental owners with a property managed by evolve so we notice the little things which make a stay comfortable and enjoyable. It was fun to have a few fresh eggs for breakfast one morning from the chicken coop and we appreciated to homemade bar of soap provided.The cottage is located in a quiet corner just off the beaten path but convenient to the main routes in and around Savannah. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful and Quiet Cottage

This is exactly what we look for when we want accommodations during our travels. The cottage was clean, comfortable, quiet, and well-stocked. It was obvious that the owner takes great pride in both the cottage and the surroundings. Downtown Savannah was a short and quick drive. We highly recommend.

Awesome retreat

Everything went well. Host was on hand and helped with any queries we had.Our stay in this beautiful little cottage was first class and we'd recommend for anyone wanting a quiet space in a lovely part of the South which is handy to shops but everything is supplied other than your food. Quiet escape

This is my second stay at "The Cottage." I came with my Mom and daughter. We had a great time, got a pleasant rest and were able to visit downtown Savannah and Tybee Island twice during our stay. My Mom, who is almost 86, said she would love for me to book "The Cottage" again, but for a month. Just that much fun!

The pictures for this listing don’t do it justice. Upon pulling into the driveway, to entering the house, I was in awe of everything I saw. The decor, cleanliness, amenities, coziness, and more made our stay in Savannah 100% better than we imagined! Jennifer Jo was super accommodating and responsive with any questions we had. Beautiful cottage

If I could give this cottage a 10 star rating I would. We absolutely loved it. It was so quiet and relaxing after a busy day in the city. From sitting and drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings and watching the chickens to having a drink late in the evening it was just so peaceful. Jennifer did such a great job decorating the cottage and was such a great host. We would absolutely stay there again if we are ever in the area and will definitely recommend to our friends.
