Amazing home near the beach!

Overall the house was amazing. Great balconies, clean, great a/c, large kitchen and dining area. Kids had lots of fun with kayaks and jumping off the pier. We would definitely come again! A few minor issues but Kay responded quickly to each issue. 3 kayaks instead of 4 which was advertised. Microwave start button needs to be replaced. Only one trash can.

Perfect property for our family and all the grand babies. Loved the location and the proximity to multiple beaches. The host, Kay was very friendly and responsive if a need arose. I would most definitely recommend this property if you need a quiet and relaxing vacation!! Thanks Kay, for allowing us the opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives and decompress

Our stay at the Luxe Stilted Home

This home was beautiful and just perfect for our family of 16. The beach was a big hit and someone from our family was there every day. The kitchen table was perfect for family meals, card games, and puzzles. The property owner was wonderful and responded promptly to any of our questions. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Fantastic vacation property nestled closely to the beach and minutes away from all local stores. Very roomy and accommodating home with ample parking and large kitchen. Every family who attended slept on a bed. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended for large family vacations.

Best on the Island!

We had our family vacation-4 generations and this was the perfect place! Everything you need is provided - kayaks, bikes, scooters and even a great assortment of life jackets. The kitchen has every appliance youā€™d want. The furniture was comfortable and we had plenty of room to be together or have our own space. The lift was crucial to haul the luggage and food for 5 families. The host was great to respond with my questions before and during. Highly recommend this property-you wonā€™t be disappointed!

Family Beach Vacation...First Time Ever!

Twenty-two people, five days, absolutely perfect house for our family. Walking distance to the beach, grand blessings enjoyed the kayaks, full equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze for the adult children. Gramma and Grampa just sat back, relaxed and watched!

Beautiful

We had a wonderful family vacation. This was a huge house with lots of room and lots of extras! What we forgot or couldn't pack it was there! Thank God for the lift. There are several steps and without out it would have been a bigger workout. The lift is very helpful from luggage to groceries. We really enjoyed the decks and the patio downstairs. The views are beautiful in the morning. It is a walk to the beach and would be difficult if you are elderly and or disable because you cannot park in the beach area , you have to just unload and have to have someone walk walk back to the beach. It is about a 10 minute walk which isn't bad but we had elders in the group .The rest of us no problem. There are lots of steps to the home but with elder on first floor it worked perfectly. The kitchen is huge and is open with a large table and living room so we constantly visited while making meals. I would differently come back and recommend. The bedrooms have lots of space and closet space. The kids love the bunk house. The internet is slow but that was the whole island not just the house. We were there to vacation so it wasn't a huge problem. The owner Kay is wonderful. If there is a problem she has a solution and is quick to address the issue. She even took pictures of our group on the beach . Thank you!!! We met by faith we needed a group photo and we had no idea it was her when she was strolling the beach, asked her to take a photo of our group and it was her and her dog. Lol..she recognized my voice from a phone call question (still trying to figure out if that was good or bad šŸ˜†)and asked if we were staying at her address. She is very nice. Thanks again for letting our family stay in your beautiful home. We loved it and hope to come back. The top patio was my favorite and the views of the beach were beautiful.

Family trip

They house was beautiful, spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. I will say white furniture covers are probably not good for rentals because of stains. The property contact was very responsive once I called her. I had been previously emailing her with no response and the first time I called I left a message and got no response. When I called back the next day she apologized and I had no other issues with communication. We couldnā€™t get the trundle beds to work in the room with 6 beds. The teenagers enjoyed the bikes and kayaks. The outdoor porches were nice and had good breezes. My only complaint about the outside is the grass was not cut so it looked unkept. We loved having the lift because there are a lot of stairs!!! From the pictures I didnā€™t expect the neighboring houses to be as close as they were. I probably will not visit the areas again due to the lack of activities for kids and teenagers, but itā€™s great if you want to just get away and relax without kids.

Perfect House

This layout is great, with 4 bedrooms plus two large bunk rooms that sleep 6 each. The kids loved the bunks and upstairs living areas with tvs for multiple kid movies. We used the kayaks and other equipment as well as our own bicycles. The beach is about 2 blocksā€”great by bike. Furniture was tasteful and ample, with a lower deck plus a deck off the upstairs living. 2 washer/dryers made washing towels easy. The kitchen is well-stocked with more than essentials, too. Kay, the owner contact, was delightful.

Our visit to Dauphin Island was amazing! We had the best time and the house was just as amazing. The home was large enough for our party of 10 and everyone had all the space we needed. Cleanliness was on point! Only a small issue but Kay was always very responsive and did her best to come up with a solution. Thank you for such great hospitality!

Great week

This property was perfect for our large group (including toddlers and infants), plenty of space, great kitchen for cooking, and the kids loved the scooters and beach toys in the downstairs closet. We overlooked the kayaks until the last day of our stay. They are in a storage area under the house.

Very good time.

We had a great time and I will definitely be back. Host was great. Previous guests were not but we helped with the solution. The property is excellent and very comfortable. All the appliances you need and the canal spot is amazing. Especially during the storms. Our first time to D.I. And it was super relaxing. We will be back.
