Fantabulous!

Stupendous house - great layout with a huge kitchen/dining room/living combo room right as you walk in. Excellent outdoor shower! The house is close to a beach on the Great Peconic Bay, which is beautiful. As a chef, I really appreciated the killer gas stove and the tons of counter space to work. The house was spotless. The host was terrific. Love the North Fork! This place is right in the middle of everything.

Beautiful home & perfect location!

We loved staying here! Don and Gina were great at communicating, and just a text away if you needed anything at all. The home is beautiful. It looks just like the photos. We also appreciated the short walk down to the beach or Magic Fountain for delicious ice cream. Also, note that there is a grill which isn't noted in the description but a definite plus! The home is conveniently located in Mattituck, which is a great place to quickly get around North Fork. Everything is within a 15-20 minute drive. We certainly hope to stay here again!

Wine Country Charm

We loved it here! The house is immaculate with an open kitchen/sitting area that has everything you could need to be comfortable. Also nice deck, yard and privacy with a beach at the end of the street. Don was an excellent host, quickly answering any questions we had via text. Close to great wineries (Croteaux for rose' in the garden, McCall great reds), restaurants (Port dining outside on the harbor in Greenport, North Fork Table top cuisine) and some interesting towns with the North Fork vibe (Greenport). All this not far from NJ. This is a great place to get away, relax and enjoy the real NY wine country!

Expectations Exceeded in every way!!

This home is gorgeous! My family and I had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful almost brand new renovated in June for a family wedding. Don and his family made sure that this property was perfectly appointed, from the furniture and fixtures to the comfortable bedding and towels, and everything in between that we might need to enjoy our little escape to Long Island's North Fork. He was so responsive and accessible if we had any questions. Our stay was thoroughly relaxing - enjoying the peaceful Peconic Sound at the end of the road, exploring the easily walkable Love Lane, wineries and nearby the town of Greenpoint. I have stayed in many homes on VRBO, and this was by far the best. Thank you Don!!!

Home away from home!

We are four adults just back from a lovely week in Mattituck on the North Fork. This beautiful cottage home is located in a residential area with large old trees and dappled sunlight ending in a small pristine beach with calm-mirror waters…relaxing and lovely! The home is immaculate, light filled and beautifully furnished with new appliances and everything you need for the beach and water sports. Every window assures privacy by looking out on lush evergreen arborvitae, hibiscus, hydrangea, wood roses and other hedges - the grounds are lovely and beautifully maintained. This is a great home base as all shopping and wineries, farms, restaurants, boating and activities are close at hand! Our host, Don, literally responded within seconds with answers to any questions we may have had and his recommendations were spot-on for things to do. Spacious, yet cozy - this house really welcomed us and made us feel right at home! Thank you for everything…

A Memorable Family Vacation

We had an amazing week at this very comfortable, lovely decorated, and designed beach house, situated in a safe family community. Everything we needed was right within reach, just a short distance from a beautiful private beach, shopping, and of course the Magic Fountain. The outdoor shower was a huge hit. Lots of breweries and wineries in the area for the adults. Also close to Greenport for some great food and shopping. If you have kids, the Carousel is a main attraction there. Don was a perfect host, very responsive and resolving any issues promptly. We rented several times on the North Fork but this house was our favorite. We will be returning again!

Beach cottage dream!💕

Thank you to Don and Gina for their attention to detail with this pristine, beautiful, and cozy cottage beach house. The decor was Joanna Gaines style, everything was updated and perfectly clean. The location and access to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping was all within walking distance! My family and I stayed for Christmas and even put up a little tree, we felt so happy and comfortable. If we needed anything Don was just a text away and responded quickly.

Beautiful Home

The property looks exactly like the listing — lovely! It’s in a great location; near tons of farms, wineries, and restaurants. Beautiful beach is only a two minute drive or ten minute walk. Awesome playground near the beach for those with little ones. The owners gave us great suggestions on activities and attractions. We had a perfect visit!

Perfect week in Mattituck

The house is a stylish modern farm style. It was really clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. Close to restaurants and shops and short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay in this home again!

Great find in the North Fork

Just thrilled with this immaculate and beautifully decorated home! Loved the open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, beautiful yard and beach toys in the garage. Not one detail was overlooked. Perfect location for an enjoyable family vacation. Just a short walk to the beach, stores, Magic Fountain and close proximity to Love Lane and vineyards. Open communication with the host - extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Impressive & Immaculate

We had the pleasure of staying in this home for several days. It is exactly as pictured. Everything is new, clean and cozy. It’s quiet…very quiet here! Which was such an important, restorative feature for us. The bedrooms are nicely appointed with ample closets, drawer space, cozy blankets and comfortable beds. We had the lovely surprise of finding a gas BBQ with an extra tank on the property! The air conditioning works perfectly, especially on the most humid days. Proximity to the beach was amazing – it is a small clean beach with still waters. Perfect for a family with small children. Although, we, the large “children”, also enjoyed it tremendously. Shops, including a Starbucks, are walking distance. Close to Love Lane and some of the best wineries in this part of the fork. Our host was very attentive to every detail. We will definitely return to this beautiful, peaceful house.

Delightful getaway

My family stayed at this house for 5 nights in August (including during Hurricane Ida!). The house was immaculate, comfortable for kids and seniors alike, and close to many amenities. The property owners were super-responsive and made staying at the house a pleasure. We have visited the north fork for many years and this was a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach or visiting the numerous farmstands and local stores. Thank you for everything.

The Perfect Getaway

We expected this home to be beautiful and clean, and it was, and then some! Tastefully constructed, tons of natural light, and well-appointed. Did we mention the lush lawn and beautiful yard (with an warm-water outdoor shower to boot!)? Felt like we were the first ones to ever stay here. Can't wait to stay here again. Thanks a million to Don and his family for a great stay. Cannot wait until the next time :)

Wonderful stay

My family stayed at this immaculate house for several weeks during the fall months. The house is furnished with all new appliances that worked perfectly. There are ample kitchen/cooking necessities as well as a gas grill. In addition, my favorite, an outdoor shower! The owner was available, in an instant, to answer any questions. He never let 10 minutes go by without a return text. The house is wonderfully situated, close to a beach which is literally down the road and is also within walking distance of delicious ice cream, a CVS and a huge supermarket. Mattituck and all of the North Fork is a treat to explore and experience. We had a wonderful time!!
