Nature's Edge: Lakefront Home - WiFi, Free Firewood, Generator, No Cleaning Fee!

Escape to the Wisconsin Northwoods and book your family vacation in our newly-constructed lakefront home located on the sandy south shore of Lost Lake with panoramic views of what is considered a “Hidden Gem”. Nature’s Edge features an open concept design that draws your attention to the breathtaking views of the lake. It offers over 2300 square feet of space for your family and friends to enjoy. The spacious main level great room allows for large gatherings while the lower level family room is the ideal space for the kids to gather for games, puzzles, watching TV, or just hanging out together. The patio door leads to a 10' x 20' deck with additional seating to enjoy your morning coffee to start your day and it’s the perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. Relax around the lakeside fire pit: we offer free firewood for your use. Take the two kayaks, canoe, and paddle boat out for some fun on the lake. Fish from the private dock or take the rowboat out to catch your trophy fish.

After a day full of fun and entertainment, retire to the bedrooms for a good night’s sleep. All bedrooms have sound barriers in the walls to provide peace and quiet for those seeking solitude. Nature’s Edge sleeps up to 12 people: two king bedrooms on the main floor have lakeside views while the queen bedroom is on the back side of the home. The lower level has the fourth bedroom with two sets of log bunk beds and the family room has a queen sofa sleeper; both rooms with lakeside views.

We hope you enjoy the wilderness décor throughout the home. The natural hickory cabinets and cedar plank ceilings provide a warmth for that up-north feel you desire to escape to. Winter vacationers will appreciate curling up in front of the gas fireplace with a warm blanket and a cup of hot chocolate. The swivel chairs are a perfect spot to sit by the large window overlooking the lake: it truly is a beautiful view!

The shoreline is described by many as the best fishing spot on this 544-acre lake. Pan fish are easily caught right off the dock. Muskie and bass are also frequently caught right out in front of the unit. The lake is fully recreational and has plenty of crappies, perch, walleyes, and northern pike. There is a newly-remodeled, heated fish cleaning house for you to use after a successful day of fishing!

Connect to the famous Bo-Boen Snowmobile Trail and the St. Germain ATV Club Trail at the end of our private road. We also provide direct access to the lake in the winter for snowmobilers. There is plenty of parking space to accommodate your trailers, too.

The St. Germain area is located halfway between Eagle River and Minocqua and is known for its many summer and winter activities. An immaculate 18-hole golf course is located nearby along with another 9-hole course and a par-3 course. There are many Northwoods supper clubs, bars, and restaurants nearby for a “night out” if cooking over the campfire isn’t your style.

Book both Nature's Edge and Cedar Lodge to enjoy a large lakefront getaway with your entire family. Enjoy every season in the Northwoods with year-round rentals available at both of our places. Our current renters are given the first opportunity to rebook for the following year so if you're interested in starting a yearly tradition, Nature's Edge and Cedar Lodge are great places to choose for your family vacation. Some of our guests have been coming for more than 40 years!!

**We do not charge you a cleaning fee!!

**After booking, we will contact you to confirm your information and answer any questions you may have. Instructions for check in will be emailed the day prior to your arrival.

**Dogs are considered for an additional fee of $150 per dog (maximum of two dogs... a separate invoice will be sent for the extra dog fee). Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds without proper furniture protectors. It is the Renter’s responsibility to provide and use appropriate protectors if your dog is accustomed to being on furniture and/or beds. Undisclosed pets will be charged a separate fee starting at $300. Due to allergies, cats are not allowed.

**There are four outdoor cameras mounted on the corners of our home that are used for security purposes only – no audio is recorded, video only. There is a sign posted as you enter the grounds stating there are surveillance cameras in use.

**Whole-house backup generator to ensure you won't be without power during your vacation in case storms pass through the area!!!

**Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect their vacation investment in case of unforeseen circumstances resulting in a change of plans.
