The Sandcastle Beach Cottage is Located in the premier neighborhood of Kiwanda Shores at Pacific City. Newly remodeled home with stylish decor and beautiful views.

"Lovely, spacious house. Beach right out the front door, can’t beat that. Sunset on the patio is perfect."

The main living space is light, bright, and airy with vaulted ceilings and large windows facing the beach and Haystack Rock. Included is a smart TV w/cable, games, throw blankets, and direct access to the wrap-around deck.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the pans, utensils, and serving dishes needed to make great meals on your vacation. Also included is a crockpot, blender, toaster, coffee pot, coffee grinder, mixer, and stainless BBQ. The kitchen table can seat 6 with room to spare!

All bedrooms have ultra-comfortable mattresses, luggage racks, smart T.V.s, and light filtering window coverings. Each bed is triple-sheeted like a high-end hotel so everything is fresh and clean.

Downstairs den includes a comfy futon couch that folds in to a bed for two, a rack to store your surfboards, and a two person arcade table with 60 retro games.

The bathrooms include hand soap, hand sanitizer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and T.P. Bath towels, mats, and beach towels are also provided.

The garage has plenty of room to stash your bikes, sandy shoes, and "extras." Also provided are sand toys, skim boards, and a bean bag toss game.

"I have stayed at many different Airbnb’s over the years and Autumn’s is easily one of my favorite experiences. She went above and beyond providing everything my group would possibly need. The house was very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely cozy. All in a quiet gated community with a beautiful private beach right there. 10/10 would stay again."

Core Memories Made

Our family had the best time staying at Autumns beach house. The location can’t be beat and the surroundings are breathtaking. The house itself is well laid out and very comfortably fit our family of 5, not to mention its so clean, modern and stylish. The house has everything you need for a beach stay—All kitchen ware to cook nightly meals and beach chairs and accessories for daily adventures. We had so much fun on the coast— walkable sand dunes and tide pools to explore, crabbed nearby and enjoyed a local rodeo. So many wonderful memories! Can’t wait to return someday!

Great place!

Wonderful home in an excellent area! We greatly enjoyed everything about the home and Pacific City. It is a 5 star stay!

Great Getaway

House was clean, bright, cozy and just as pictured. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes etc. Beds were comfortable. Perfect place to get away with friends.

Summer at Pacific City

This is an open and fun space that fit the beautiful beach it faced. Great sleeping, great family area, and across the street from beach access - honestly as good as being on the beach itself! Loved every second there. It was the highlight of the trip!

Spring stay

This was a great place to call home for a few days. The unit has its quirks, but mainly in a good way. Very nice and relaxing. Not good for a very small child or infant as there is an open stairwell.

2023 Oregon Vacation

My husband and I made our annual summer trip from Iowa to Oregon to visit my son, his wife and three Grandkids (3,5 and7). We decided to take an adventure for a few days at the beach. We loved our stay at the Kiwanda Shores in Pacific City. Would highly recommend. Thanks.

Weekend Stay

We had a perfect weekend stay at the house and will be making plans to come back in the future. The house was very accommodating and clean on arrival. Be prepared to do a lot of sweeping due to the sand that surrounds the house but that should be expected since the house in technically on the beach. The only issue we had was waking up to the garbage cans out front being knocked over all over the road due to a black bear that took a late night stroll through the neighborhood.

Fantastic July 4th

This was our first trip to Pacific City and it was fantastic. The house was wonderful, decorated for the 4th and extremely clean. Things were so well labeled it was easy to find things and put them back in the correct location. The distance to the beach was perfect, we had sand in the driveway to keep the kids content till we walked on the actual beach. They house was plenty large enough for 2 kids and 4 adults. We put the 'family' downstairs and the visiting uncles on the main floor. The loft got used for reading. We definitely enjoyed both porches. When we needed sun and no wind it was back deck and once sun was at front of house we moved there for the view (ocean and people watching). We would come back for sure. Autumn was great about answering all of our pre trip questions. Thank you!

Nice spot

Autum was wonderful - responsive / spot was clean and dreamy by beach. I will say a tad overpriced/ no extra paper towels was a little bit of a bummer:( and the floors were loud for the people sleeping downstairs. Kitchen was pretty small for our group but we managed. Overall a good weekend ♥️

Very cute & clean beach house

A great beach house right across the street from the public beach access. Small kitchen, but was perfect for our family (2 teens). Very clean and cute.

Perfect Beach Cottage

This is our 3rd year staying in this neighborhood and our favorite property so far. Great to be so close to the beach access. We sat on the porch every night listening to the waves. We had a blast. Perfect beach cottage!

Great beach house!

We had a great stay at Autumn's beach house. The house was comfortable, clean, and had fantastic lighting throughout all the rooms. The towels and bedding were very high quality. And you can't go wrong with the location - it's right across the street from the beach and a short stroll to the eateries downtown.

An Idyllic Beach House

The house was exactly what you would want a small beach house to be. It was clean, the main area was awash with light from the large windows, the house was recently renovated and well taken care of, furniture was in great condition, the downstairs mattress were fantastic (best mattress I've ever slept on in a rental house), the sheets were high quality and when you opened the door (or sat on the deck), you could hear the roar of the waves crashing on the beach. The house came stocked with basic cooking utensils (e.g., pans, spatulas, toaster, etc.) and basic cooking ingredients (e.g., a few spices, olive oil, etc.). There were beach toys for small kids in the garage and a few board games that my kids took advantage of when they wanted to take a break from the sun on the beach. This was one of the best houses I've rented on VRBO.

Pacific City has such a great vibe as it's off the beaten path and the beach is beautiful. There is no place like it on the Oregon Coast. It has always been a dream for us to own a home in Kiwanda Shores. The community is gated and our home is in the sand!

We love the walkability of our home. Once you get here you don't have to ever get in your car again if you don't want to. Our home is approximately 25 steps to the beach and a 15 minute walk down to the cape and the restaurants & shops.
