Large beach house with awesome game room!

Hi Kristi, We’re sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet five-star expectations. With 18 guests in a 5-bedroom home, we understand it may have felt a bit tight. The maximum capacity for the home is 18 guests, and we always ensure there are 18 clean towel sets available, regardless of the group size. At maximum capacity, you would need to wash some towels during your stay. We've also upgraded the trash setup by replacing smaller bins with a 96-gallon container to better meet guest needs. Leslie, I apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. We try hard to keep guest happy. Our check-in email does list a property manager contact that you can call immediately if there is something not right. I wish you would have called her with your concerns when you checked in. I can address your concerns one by one. 1. We do ask the people staying there to put the trash on the curb the morning of trash pickup. This is because of bears getting into trash. If you had called my property manager, she would have emptied the trash cans immediately. 2. I checked the bed spreads and linens after commented on this. I couldn't find any stains. I found one pillowcase with a black mark caused by the dryer. We washed all the bedspread again anyway. 3. The panel is a shower valve access. That has to be there. We tightened up the springs so the panel stays in place. 4. You called about the window at 10:30pm at night. I feel like the property manager agreeing to come over the next morning was fair. That window is back ordered and we nailed the bottom of the window shut. We did not expect someone to try and open the top part of a window that was nailed shut at the bottom. We have since nailed the top leaf shut. The entire window will be replaced in the near future. 4. We will fix the trash can lid. 5. The shower area next to the laundry is brand new. We double checked the shower head to make sure it doesn't come lose if someone pulls on it. 6. The fireplace is described as non-functional and decorative in the listing. 7. The dart board is secured to the wall with a concrete anchor. I went to the house and banged on the dart board pretty hard. It would not come loose. 8. The cleaning staff has an item on their checklist for cleaning under the beds. I am sure this was just a one off miss. 9. We sanitize every hard surface in the house during a cleaning. Because of the size of the house, we put three cleaning crews on the house at every turn and the team takes pride in leaving you a clean house. I would ask any other guest to read more than just this review when deciding to stay with us. Again, we have a property manager around the corner that will make any corrections you need immediately. Please don't wait until you are gone to point out any issues you are uncomfortable with. We want your stay to be about positive memories and bonding with your friends and family!
