The Cozy Cabin was built in 2020. This cabin is for active people with no limitations as there are uneven walking surfaces and stairs. Restroom and Shower are located in separate buildings. Please be sure to read description and look at pictures. Located in the Sequoia Nat'l Forest just 10.7 miles (approx 23 minutes) from the Visitor Center in Grant Grove Village in Kings Canyon Nat'l Park and less than 20 miles (approx 30 minutes or less traveling time on Generals Hwy through the park) to Sequoia Nat'l Park and Sherman's Tree. Please be sure to park in your designated parking area. There will be a marker displaying Cozy Cabin. What a great place to retreat and unwind after a day of exploring the wonders of the park. Here you can relax on the deck enjoying your favorite beverage with your special someone while recalling the moments of the day and prepare for your tomorrow, whether it be another unforgettable adventure in the park or your journey home. This one room cabin has Air Conditioning, knotty pine wood walls, & ceiling with tile flooring. There is a comfy futon that will be already made upon your arrival. You will find a mini fridge, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, TV with DVD player, DVD's, and games. This is a dry cabin with a small sink added for convenience. (cold water only) Single night stays welcome as well as 2, 3, 4 & 5 night stays. In case of snow, snow shovels are provided for guest to use. No Smoking inside or outside of cabin!!!! Make the cozy cabin your next annual tradition.

雰囲気は最高です。自然の中に囲まれているみたいで。夕飯も外のテーブルで食べました。鹿も見られました。 トイレ、バスルーム、ベッドルームが3棟に分かれているのも面白い。いずれも清潔でした。 大荷物で滞在しようとすると、荷物の置き場に困るかもしれません。それぞれが小さめな建物なので。

Great setting in the woods. Excellent communication. Lots of wildlife! A family of deer and turkeys. Composting toilet was clean and worked perfectly. I really liked that the seat was heated which was nice and warm. Look forward to staying again!

It was a wonderful stay with the exception of the composting toilet. I am a fan of environmentally friendly anything. But that toilet was beyond smelly. Stench is a better description. And I know well maintained composting toilets do not smell. Smells do not exist without molecules floating in the air. Consider how healthy that is.

Cute rustic cabin, lovely peaceful setting, loved the wildlife that came through the garden. Nearly everything you need is there, a kettle and quieter fridge would be nice though. I was not a fan of the compost toilet. The shower room exterior light was far oto bright to sit out and star gaze, also affected my wife’s sleep, maybe put the light on a motion sensor?On the whole a very pleasant stay.

This is a quaint, private and quiet cabin in nature only 20 minutes drive from Kings Canyon National Park. The cabin is small with little space but well equiped with everything you may need for a comfortable stay. There is a sink, microwave, toaster and small refrigerator as well as a TV for playing DVDs only, which are included as well as a selection of books. There is a shower, exclusive for this cabin, in a seperate building. It is again, small but has both hot and cold water. Towels are provided but you may prefer to bring your own. There is a third building that houses a Compostable Toilet. The patio has a small table with chairs and barbecue equipment.Sitting on the patio, I saw wild turkeys, deer and many birds. If you disregard the electrical appliances, you fell like you have stepped back in time 150 years. I did not take to the compostable toilet, but we liked staying at this unique place. It was a memorable experience in nature.

Cozy, camping-ish vibe for solo travelers

This was a really cute and unique cabin, perfect for solo travelers going to the parks. I could tell the hosts put a lot of thought and effort into making this place a comfortable and convenient stay. Pros: Friendly & communicative hosts, accommodated my request for early check-in which was super appreciated.Lots of thoughtful touches, cabin has almost everything you could need. A/C and heater both worked great, location was quiet and peaceful while being very close to the parks. Also had a restaurant across the street if you didn't feel like preparing food. I loved the outdoor space- lots of places to sit and relax, watch nature and just be still for a moment.Cons: Listing advertised Wifi but upon arrival I found out that the equipment was actually located in the neighboring residence, so the signal was very weak in the cabin itself.Shower and toilet rooms were a bit small, so I wouldn't recommend for anyone plus-sized or very tall. The toilet building was also solar powered, and even though I barely used the lights during the day they didn't hold enough charge to turn on in the dark or in the mornings. When I went to use the restroom anytime besides the afternoon/early evening I had to use my phone's flashlight to see.Besides that I enjoyed my brief time at the Cozy Cabin and would be glad to stay here again in the future.

Really a lovely place, very intimate and immersed in nature. The owner has done a lot to make it as comfortable as possible, obviously a minimum of spirit of adaptation is needed, considering the context, the bathroom and the shower (hot) separated from the room. but we liked it a lot.

This was a Pleasant experience. We absolutely Loved the stay. So many extra touches. It was so cozy. The views and sounds of nature were just so peaceful and beautiful. The host was really friendly.

It was a beautiful property, restroom is not inside the unit which was not ideal but it was an easy trade off to be in such a beautiful place, they have a grill, areas to enjoy outdoors and inside the cabin they have games and movies, was perfect for 2.Is also very convenient that has a local bar/restaurant right across the street

Cute place but it would have been nice to know that our "private" bath was out side and about 20 feet from our cabin. When you get up in the middle of the night to use the facilities, definitely not desirable. That was not publicized. The shower was also in a separate building , different from the toilet. The cabin seemed to be about 10X10, with no benches for suitcases, or packs. They should put some hooks up to hang a coat or hat from. By the time we moved in, there wasn't much space. In addition, we received an email the day of check in suggesting we bring food, as there wasn't much in the way of stores or restaurants. Not a problem for us, however, not adequate to store our food. Again, very cute cabin, would be great in the summer when you can spread outside for dinner, however, not great at this time of year. And, they need to advise people that the bathroom, although, private, is in a separate building.
