A spectacular farm boasting some of the best views

Perched on a high point with stunning views of the escarpment , an original old home with a great modern addition is the perfect escape for 2 families or a group of friends . There is lots a room for the kids to kick a footy or play cricket., walking tracks, great barbecue area,

Yamboon Park is close to the wineries and Tearooms and all the wonderful things The Blue Mountains has to offer.
A must visit.

The house is in two sections, the old part (one of the original mud brick homes in the valley) holds four bedrooms. One with a queen bed, two rooms with two single beds and a bunk room, plus a new bathroom with a bath and shower and heated floor. The new section is a large lounge dining, kitchen plus a queen bedroom , bathroom and laundry. They are joined by a breezeway.

Lovely location

The house was well laid out and the property very impressive with views from every room. Lovely to see the cattle and horses and we would book again. Fantastic for large families.

Megalong Valley trip

The views of the escarpment were the best I’ve ever seen, had great weather so enjoyed watching the stunningly beautiful sunset. Horses were very friendly. The cows were great entertainment too.

Rustic but everything you need!

Our stay was great and the accommodation had most everything you would need for a weekend away! The property itself was beautiful with very friendly horses and staff. Would have preferred to be advised of needing to bring things like shampoo and conditioner, but otherwise everything was provided—tons of cutlery and dishes for a large group stay, plenty of firewood and kindling etc. Would stay here again and will definitely recommend to others

Beautiful location and scenery, great house!

Beautiful location and scenery, great facilities including outdoor entertaining deck, BBQ, outdoor fire pit and plenty of fireplaces inside. This place has everything you need! The only issues were the hot tub never fully warmed up after refilling with wood all day and more bins needed. Would highly recommend!!

Beautiful peaceful location with lots to do

Yamboon is situated amongst walkable paddocks on the top of a hill which provides amazing views of cliffs, particularly stunning at sunset. The Icelandic horses are an extra treat. The manager, Bou, was welcoming, helpful and responsive to any queries. The trip further down Peach Tree Lane is magic, a must do. Jan

Glorious pastoral reprieve

What a heavenly farm! Our family had the best Megalong vacation here. The home is cozy and welcoming and the views and natural beauty are unparalleled. We enjoyed evening walks to say hi to the cows and beautiful ponies and came across masses of kangaroos. In the evening, we enjoyed a glass of wine looking at the cliffs glowing in the sunset. It was an easy drive from here to spend a day at Katoomba scenic world. Megalong is such a special place and this was the ideal farm/house from which to make the most of it. Thank you!

UTA for 2023

We were a group of 10 friends most of whom had entered the UTA running festival. We had a wonderful stay at this property. Stunning location, quaint cottage yet very comfortable and just glorious sitting out by the open pit fire enjoying the late afternoon and evening. Perfect way to end a day of exercise! Likely to be back for 2024! Thanks again

Great family holiday

My family had a wonderful time, the kids enjoyed playing around the property, patting the horses and riding their pushbikes through some of the mud puddles after rain. It was a very relaxing time for our family, we would definitely visit again

Beautiful views

It’s hard to find views in the Megalong valley that are better. We had two families staying at the house. It was well equipped, a little rustic and older style but very comfortable. Fireplaces were great, bedding fine. Hosts very helpful and friendly in communication.

Cathy the Owner was very accommodating, providing extra fans for an unusual heatwave, gave permission for our dog to stay and our group of 11 had a great time. Thanks
