This home is beautiful and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Fire pit and hot tub was a great amenity (although didn’t use the hot tub). Kitchen was fully stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

Comfortable cabin in a great location. Had an A/C issue and the owner was helpful in getting it resolved. Home had just what we needed for a nice 3 night stay. Kids loved having the loft area and playing the games.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this super cool, well appointed A frame! How fun!! Loved the location, loved the decor, loved the responsiveness from the manager Tony. If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, gorgeous house, look no further. Highly recommend the take and local take and bake pizza as a wonderful way to wind down and watch the sunset.

It was a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and so comfortable and welcoming! We had all the things we needed and were able to have a very relaxing weekend! It was clean and the checkout instructions very reasonable and easy. I love the binder with all the information about the place as well as things to do in the area. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great Stay

This place was beautiful and in a wonderful neighborhood, with amenities our family really enjoyed. It is quite the drive from a lot of the tourist destinations (about 1.5 hours to the Custer area) but such a nice place to stay if you don't mind the driving (and very close to Deadwood). We did wish there were some sort of shades or curtains over windows, especially for privacy at night or to sleep in a bit in the loft area, but the windows are wonderful for the overall view and natural light.

Wow!! What a beautiful house! All the amenities in the house were amazing! Hot tub was clean and we enjoyed it every morning. Great location to connect to the trails and to hit Deadwood for fun! We will definitely be back!

Great winter getaway

My Floridian family had an amazing time at this cabin. The owner is extremely helpful. Winter activities are within 5 miles. Centrally located to national parks and monuments. The cabin was gorgeous and all the streets were paved and not steep like some places. We rented a AWD car but really didn't need it. I highly recommend this cabin and would definitely stay there again.

Amazing A-frame cabin in great neighborhood!

My family and I really enjoyed staying in this fun A-Frame cabin in the mountains. My kids absolutely loved the upstairs area and were so excited to have it all to themselves. We used the hot tub each day, a great way to wind down after a long day of sight seeing. The home was outside of town, but close enough to run to a grocery store or restaurant. If you’re looking for affordable yet beautiful place to stay, look no further! We will definitely stay in this home again if we’re ever back in the area!

Beautiful area, the house was very nice, however when we got there the doors where unlocked and the couch was taken apart as well as all the chairs moved over under the staircase. We double checked the address/info to make sure we where in the right place. Messaged the property management two times without response. Aside from that we did enjoy our stay there.

The perfect cabin!

Where do I even begin… this cabin exceeded our expectations! We had the best time in South Dakota, and this a-frame cabin was the perfect home base for our week vacation. It was a great location, nestled in the woods… but not too far from the town if you needed to grab a few things. We got lucky with a 70 degree day one of the days so we enjoyed the heated outdoor pool! It was a short walk from the cabin. Our kids loved the shuffleboard and pool table inside the clubhouse by the pool. The cabin was decorated so nice, and the binder with recommendations was really helpful! The beds were so cozy and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need! We LOVED the butler’s pantry, and appreciated having all the spices for cooking. The baby gate in the closet was very helpful to put at the bottom of the stairs to keep our toddlers off the stairs. We loved having the fans in each of the bedrooms too. It really made it feel like home for us. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We can’t wait to come back!!

Grade A, for the A-Frame

Our overall experience at the A-Frame was really good! Upon arrival, we were able to easily access the house with a key code and start moving in. The two kids were excited to have their 'own space' in the loft, and the four adults stayed in the two bedrooms on the main floor. We enjoyed gathering at the big kitchen counter and ending the day on the living room sectional. The layout and style of the house has a great vibe! Another favorite space was the fire pit on the back patio - while we love a traditional campfire, the gas firepit was convenient and safe. We saw deer, marmots, jack rabbits, and gophers around the property. The neighborhood (Powder House Pass) felt safe, was quiet, and beautiful! We enjoyed having access to the community pool for our kids to swim (we did not use the hot tub at the house). The location is convenient to Deadwood/ Lead, and Spearfish, right off HWY 14A. We rented UTVs at Rec Springs, ate breakfast at Cheyenne Crossings, and rode around the hills for a full day. There is so much to see in the area! Check-in and check-out instructions were clear, and communication (email) was good.

Sturgis Rally 2020

We used this property for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally for its great location. It had everything we needed. Only drawback was the gravel driveway that wasn't mentioned in the listing. Once we got used to it it all worked out. The Bar-B-Q has seemed better days and the fire pit was hard to light but we figured it out and all was good. Overall I would rent it again.

A Frame

Three couples used the property for a ATV trip. There was plenty of room to park three pickups with three trailers. The beds and the property were very comfortable. The loft area gets very bright in the morning and is open to any noise from the lower level. You will want your earliest risers or hardest sleepers to use that area. Good proximity to Lead//Deadwood and ATV trails. The hot tub is small. One couple used it one night and did not again. The firepit area was very nice and we used that every night. All in all a very good stay!
