We enjoyed our stay very much. They provided everything we could need, including plenty of towels which is always a plus. The kitchen was well stocked, the home was very clean and the hot tub was so spacious and relaxing. Would definitely stay again!

Sunflower at SunRiver is a nice single level three bedroom cabin. The location near Fort Rock Park is excellent. The cabin has everything that you need to enjoy SunRiver. IWe had a great vacation

Great Stay @Sunriver

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and plan to return! The location is great and the property itself was clean and had everything needed for a great stay. Instructions were great, appliances all worked. Comfortable, etc.... We can't say enough about the house. This is the kind of place that is easy to live in and feels like home away from home!!!

Our stay in Sunriver

Overall this was an ok property. Window shelves had bugs all over them so I would suggest reminding the maids to get that so the house looks cleaner. A few things that need upgrading: yellow chair is breaking so we could not really use it, and there was a large crack in the master bedroom window. Other than that we had a nice stay here.

We appreciate the time taken to leave a review. But certainly disappointed the experience wasn’t what we had hoped it would be. Prior to guests arriving and in the information we leave behind we strongly encourage guests to notify us immediately if there are any problems so that we can resolve them early and quickly. We did not hear from this guest during their eight day stay so learning about the problems in a review is disappointing. We would have loved to have had the opportunity to resolve any issues. We had not received any prior comments regarding the chair so that catches us off guard, but we will take care of that problem. As I’m sure you know, it is taking much longer to get some repairs done. We are scheduled to have the cracked glass repaired and but do not feel it should have created any discomfort or inconvenience.

Linens in closet and floor near baseboards were not clean (previous pet odor and hair). Towels and beds were very clean. Great place for kids and pets. Living room furniture needs to be updated. Unfortunately, previous guests don't know how to cook with Teflon pans. Kitchen fridge was out but has garage fridge and provided Sharc passes. Very nice. We would stay again in hopes will be more clean the next visit.

The house was not clean. Dog dish under the couch. Couch and pillows smells like dog pee, and extremely uncomfortable. Not enough seating in living room. Dirty utensils, had to wash everything before use. Wasps nest outside in hot tub wall. Hot tub was dirty after day two. Not enough stocked items. Pictures on site must be very old. We come to Sunriver every year. This was the most expensive property and def not worth the cost. Very disappointed.

We always appreciate the time taken to leave a review. We are naturally unhappy to hear of your disappointments. We will work hard to address those shortcomings. It is worth noting that a few recent guests have made a point of calling out how well the home is stocked, bed comfort, and cleanliness. Likewise, we just reviewed the 57 prior reviews on Vrbo and and other platforms and confirmed that no earlier guests have shared a similar experience regarding pet odor. We wish we could have been given the opportunity to solve the problems as soon as you arrived. We understand everyone's experience is different and again, wish the stay had been perfect. We urge guests prior to arrival and in the information left in the home to contact us immediately if there are any problems we can promptly remediate. It's especially disappointing to be surprised about problems when we were not contacted during the stay to report it.

Nicely Updated, Unique Find in Sunriver

We enjoyed our stay at this home, which was the perfect size for our family of four. The updates down on the home give it a bright and modern feel compared to many of the outdated homes in Sunriver. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The bikes needed the tires pumped but that’s to be expected with so many people using them plus the heat. A couple of them should probably be removed as they weren’t functional but we each found good ones for our purposes. We ended up not being able to bring our own bikes so that was a huge plus. Proximity to everything was good, a pleasant bike ride to the village, SHARC and the North Market, which we much preferred to the busy market at the village. My only real complaint was waking up to men digging a trench outside the kitchen window (which has no blinds) at 8:30 one morning. Turns out the whole area is getting upgraded internet and it was a very quick process and not the property managers fault at all, but after saying they’d look into they never got back to us. We just asked the guys outside and they filled us in and it wasn’t a huge deal in the end, just surprising not to get any warning of work being done while we were there and no follow-up after reaching out. Aside from that minor hiccup, it was such a bright and updated home compared to most of the dated options in Sunriver, we’d definitely stay there again.

A great home but NO Sharc passes

This was overall a great home, however, I gave it a 4 star review because it did not come with SHARC passes. The home itself is in a perfect location, very close to Fort Rock park and in a quiet neighborhood. The house itself is open and bright. I appreciated the updated furnishings and comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well stocked. I appreciated that small things like foil, freezer bags, Tupperware, and spices were available. It makes such a difference! The property manager was easy to contact, responsive and gave us an early check-in, which was super nice. My only disappointment was the lack of SHARC passes. I should have done better due diligence in verifying the property included these. We stay in Sunriver every summer and all the homes we rent have the passes or the online listing is very clear that they do not. Given that this is a resort community and one usually expects to use the resort amenities, I would encourage the owner to purchase the passes or note it in their listing. For some renters, this will not be a deal breaker, in which case, I would absolutely recommend this home. For us however, it added a significant cost and frustration to our stay. We love playing pickleball, using the pool and launching our own paddleboards at the marina. Without the SHARC passes, each pickleball reservation was $20 (free with passes), to launch or own boats was $40 per boat ( we have 4 paddleboards, $160 each time, normally free) and $28 per person for pool. For a 13 day stay, this added up tremendously. Again, I take responsibility in not verifying ahead of time, but a heads up to other travelers who want these amenities to avoid our costly mistake.

It's unfortunate, and we feel quite unfair, that a less than perfect review is left specifically because a guest failed to confirm the property did not feature an amenity that was very important to the desired experience. SHARC passes are not always provided, and more often than not, there is no disclaimer of any kind in the listing. The use of SHARC was sometimes prohibited and sometimes accessible with major restrictions over the last two years. It was an unfortunate assumption and oversight on the part of the guest that passes were available.

A week away

We enjoyed our time at the sunflower. It is in a beautiful forested area with wildlife that wander through. The house was clean and comfortable. Nice open area for kitchen, dining and living room. No storage space if you bring food, but lots of kitchen supplies available. The main bedroom needs a king size bed, but everything was comfy. The hot tub was so relaxing! We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Sunflower. The house had plenty of room for the four of us and our dog. The rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The property managers were attentive even with a minor need.

We had a wonderful week here, as we always do in Sun River. Enjoyed the house which had a well-equipped kitchen - except for a broken dishwasher (which we were informed of before arriving). Nice short walk to the Ft. Rock park for the dogs too. The place is showing its age in a few places, and the lighting set-up in the main bedroom is a bit wonky (the sink area is open to the room meaning you need to use it in the dark if your partner is sleeping), but otherwise a great stay. Thanks!

Perfect Getaway!

We had a lovely time at Sunflower. It is so nice to find a rental that goes all out to welcomes dogs and provides dog bowls and beds. The kitchen has tons of tools (coffee grinder!) and nice new appliances. The wood burning fireplace was cozy and provided the perfect Sunriver vibe. Sunflower has modern touches and is very bright and clean. We will be back!
