A fairly last minute booking. We stayed for 4 nights on a rainy weekend, so spent lots of time at the house.
Pros - views, location, size, balcony and outdoor space with darts, good bathrooms, lovely fireplace and amazing kitchen
Although the place is amazing and great for a group, there were a few things that could be better.
Cons - hot tub was unusable and we were only told after we had booked (a note on the website would be handy),
bbq was not clean so we didnt use it,
in price we were charged for linen, yet owners manual said this does not include linen. Luckily he did not make a fuss and we could use it for free.
Ran out of gas (could not finish cooking) and the big bottled gas is only delivered on mon and thu so we had to buy a tool to switch over to the smaller bbq tank that had some left. Owner offered to compensate for cost and inconvenience. I recommend to make sure this is checked before you have guests arrive.
The 2 bedrooms near the outdoor area were very damp which caused some discomfort.
Would definitely recommend the place, but I hope the owner will take the feedback and improve this for future guests.
