The positives outweigh the negatives about this property.

The location of this property near the beach and to John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk was PERFECT! The beach was a very short walk across Gulf Blvd., and shopping and restaurants were within walking distance. We loved hanging out on the balcony at night or early in the morning, as the beach can be seen from there. The main areas were very clean. From the unit, you can see blue chase lounges and cabanas on the beach that are for rent. They come in sets of 2 for 40 daily. Tim was so nice and helpful. You will get his # upon check-in to set that up.The paper towels and toilet paper are the cheap kind. If you want something better, I recommend you buy some on the way or bring it with you if driving. Luggage racks would be nice so guests don’t use furniture for their suitcases. Otherwise, they go on the floor. I have reported some details to the management group, as this unit needs some attention. There were stains on: the drapes by the balcony right at eye level, on one of the bar stools, and on one of the bunk bed comforters. There were clumps of hair in both the shower and bathtub we had to address, and the bathtub in the master looked dingy and dirty. So much so, I used the shower in the other bathroom. I would want to know these types of things when I'm booking. The property management seems to care about this, so I hope these issues will be addressed.We still had a great time! With a few minor investments to spruce this unit up, it would take it from good to great!
The unit is in Madeira Bay Resort 1 on the 6th floor. You will check in at the office in Madeira Bay Resort 2, super easy.
View from the balcony if you look right. See the blue chairs and cabanas out on the beach? Those are the closest ones for rent. They were great!

This place was nice for a family of four with two younger kids. The beach access directly across the street was wonderful. The pool was easy to access too. We liked the multiple levels of security for accessing the building. The space was nice and plenty of room. It was exactly how the picture portrayed it. There were a few items such as dish soap, paper towels, etc to get you started, but you will need to prepare to stock the place with some amenities once you arrive (trash bags, sponges, paper towels, toilet paper). The washer/dryer were a game changer and a must for a beach vacation and these held up great. The A/C was amazing - we were never too hot or insufferable. It was very quiet at night and never heard other neighbors or outdoor noises. While there was a disclaimer about beach items may or may not be available - there weren't any other than an old chair. I only mention so that you plan accordingly. This is very close to John's Pass and overall would stay again.

Pros: beautiful location, short walk to the beach and to John's Pass. Also close to other locations. Annamarie Island only an hour away and Fort De Soto only 30 minutes away. Checkin was very easy and easy instructions of how to get into apartment. The elevator in the building always worked and never a long wait. The views in the apartment were spectacular! Loved waking up to the views and also enjoyed the sunsets. There is a closet full of beach accessories that was very convenient!! Cons: The bathrooms were not as cleaned as I would like for them to be (but I'm very picky about bathrooms). There was still hair in the shower and the tub was still dirty from previous guests. The shower pressure was very low and it was hard to wash your hair etc. Overall amazing stay!!! Our family had an amazing time!!! We would stay again if the shower heads were replaced. Hope this review helped!

Great Property and Excellent Spot

My family and I spent four nights here and it looks just like the pictures! From the balcony there is a clear view of the beach and it’s just steps away. It’s also just steps away from the John’s Pass entertainment area. We would absolutely book this place again!

Great Location and Beach Access

The positives were the view and easy access to the beach. Negatives- Unit was not clean . Linens were dirty and crushed. Dirty utensils were placed in the drawer. 2nd bedroom is exactly like you see in the picture. It’s the size of a closet with bunk beds. Parking is really expensive.

Property was great! Clean, updated and so close to everything.

We loved this property and can’t wait to come back. Access to beach was great and the view from the balcony was amazing. Condo was clean, had everything we needed and so close to everything. Looking forward to returning soon.

Very close to all the activities

This is a great property. It’s located within walking distance to John’s Pass shops, restaurants, and activities. The beach is within walking distance. Plenty of parking spots between two floors.

Unit was not clean

The property itself was very nice but the unit we stayed in was not very clean. We had some issues with things that should have been resolved/cleaned prior to checking in.

Great Time

It was absolutely wonderful. It was a very clean unit that had everything we needed like kitchen utensils, washer and dryer, etc. located on the 6th floor allowed for great views of the gulf. Perfect location to access the beach and John’s Pass. Would definitely stay there again!
