Sea Palms 201 is a spacious, beautifully decorated, three bedroom condo located on 45th street ocean block in Ocean City, Maryland. Location is everything here, as you're just steps away from the beach, but also close to the Ocean City Convention Center and numerous restaurants including the TapHouse Bar & Grill, Seacret's, On the Bay Seafood and Dry 85. The condo features a living room adjacent to a nicely sized south-facing balcony with a peek of the ocean, a fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, separate dining area, and a jacuzzi tub in the primary bath. You'll also be able to stay entertained and connected with four TVs, two DVD's cable and internet access. The property is accessible by elevator and provides two parking spots. This property rents Saturday to Saturday in season and any 3 nights off season.
Accommodating up to eight guests, the primary bedroom has a king, 2nd bedroom has a queen, and the third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (four twins). Guests must provide sheets, towels, all soaps and paper products. An optional linen package is available for purchase for this property and would be delivered to the condo on your day of arrival and picked up on your day of departure. The package would include sheet sets for each bed and towel sets equaling the maximum occupancy of the condo.
Note the parking garage cannot facilitate vehicles that exceed 7 feet.
Non-smoking, Non-vaping. No pets, please. Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25.

I was incredibly disappointed to find out mere days before our visit that we were expected to bring our own sheets, towels, and paper products. This had not been listed anywhere in the rental listing description as I would not have booked here knowing this. This requirement also did not give me much faith that the comforters on beds were being cleaned regularly. Furthermore, the rental was rather dirty including black grime in the shower and tile, dusty ceilings, and scuff marks on many walls and doors. Lastly, the rental is through a third party rental company that you have to use their website and additional documentation with them which is not indicated up front on the listing. With how many hotels and rentals are in ocean city, I would recommend looking elsewhere for your stay

The perfect location to all our favorite spots. The place was very clean and large enough for our littles (6months and 2.5 years)to have plenty of space to spread out! The best part was how close it was to the beach! We would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic location, poor attention to details

The location is great! Close to the beach and all sorts of food. We walked everywhere. The interior space was good as well. Plenty of room in each bedroom and lots of storage in the kitchen and extra utility room. Dining, living room and outdoor balcony provided plenty of room for our 8 adult party. Those are the positives. However, while the condo smelled clean when we moved in, the place was filthy. Bathroom showers and toilets were moldy. Floors and baseboards had not been wiped down in any of the 3 bathrooms. Clumps of hair in bathrooms and bedrooms lead us to believe that they had not been vacuumed. All throw rugs in the bathrooms were wet and sandy (cleaning crew didn’t wash them obviously). Multiple beds had sand on top of the comforters. I know it’s the beach but at the beginning of my stay, I expect that I can walk around inside my unit and NOT get Sandy feet. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time washing rugs, bedding, vacuuming all carpets and the foyer area and wiping down bathrooms. Thankfully the unit had extra light bulbs because there were no less than 9 light bulbs out making the unit dark until I changed out the bulbs. The vents in the master have so much dust in and around them that the ceiling is black initially causing concern that is was mold. (It wasn’t thank goodness) I am extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of this unit. The checkin time was 3:00pm on Saturday. In my opinion that is very late, however if I have to wait to check in because the cleaning crew needs amble time to ensure cleanliness, THEN IT SHOULD BE CLEAN! Once we cleaned the unit ourselves, we had a fantastic week. Again the unit itself was in a great location and served our purposes perfectly. It was just initially gross. As an owner, I would be concerned.

Ocean Palms 201

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Palms. The condo was very spacious and the beds and furniture was comfortable. The large deck was wonderful, and we could see the ocean on one side and the bay on the other. Belly Busters is right across the street, for a quick bite without having to drive. Trash was picked up regularly, so there weren't overflowing dumpsters to deal with. The elevator was a blessing for check in/out, as was the luggage cart! Around the back side of the parking area, was an outdoor shower to rinse sand off before heading up to the room. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely look into renting again next year.
