Brett was a great host, there to meet us and tell us a little about the place. The house itself was nice and clean, spacious and felt private and had charm with it's unique style.

Hi. I'm glad you both felt the cabin suited your needs. But I'm disappointed when I went to clean there was dog hair all over the couch with stains on the cushions.
It was a lovely secluded getaway with a very soft cosy bed. We had our own campfire at night and the cabin was completely self sufficient with a nice large shower. The place feels like it’s all yours but Brett has great advice and support if you ever need him. Would definitely make it my regular home away from home if I was living in Adelaide longer term :)

It was a lovely place to stay! Nice and quiet location. Plenty of necessities were provided by the owner. Situated in a very convenient spot just outside of Kingscote.

Property owner was very good at communicating before we arrived and was very accommodating to our needs once we arrived. Location was convenient. We walked around the property at dusk and saw several wallabies.
Me and my boyfriend stayed here as our first holiday away together and we couldn’t have picked a better place, exploring kangaroo island was amazing but it was even better to have such an amazing host, Brett allowed us to feel comfortable and made sure all our needs were covered, the cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. we really felt cared for while staying here 10/10 recommend :)

Thanks for a great review and I'm so pleased you both enjoyed my cabin. Your parents should be proud of you both .always welcome.
Beautiful cabin and very friendly host.
Other reviewers have commented on the lack of dining table, but the coffee table is still comfortable to eat from.
The mattress in the bedroom suits someone who prefers the softer side.
The cabin is stand alone but still very close to the owner's home; despite this the cabin felt very quite and private.
All round a fabulous place to stay!

Hey , thanks for a great review. So glad you both enjoyed your small break. Always welcome back
Good for a couple and fury friend.
New and European styled Cedar cabin. Big TV and coffee table. No table to eat at. Front verandah has small table and in good weather is better there anyway.
Loved the new Scandinavian look cabin. Set in a large grassy field, quiet location with gum trees around. No dining table inside but has a massive TV with internet connection.
Very clean & comfortable, well presented cabin. Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but only a few minutes from Kingscote. Owner extremely helpful & friendly. Good communication
Clean, new cabin in a tucked away location. Close to Kingscote for a morning coffee & services (took around 45min to walk in which was nice) but tucked away enough to be quiet and feel like there was plenty of space. Couldn’t recommend enough :)
