Tucked deep in a peaceful pine forest, this 5BR home offers easy access to the Hartoonian Trail Network off the back yard, among other adventures. With accommodations for 10, you’ll be just 10 minutes from Heavenly Resort and the casinos at Stateline. Barbecue and dine alfresco on the back deck, followed by a soak in the private hot tub. Or watch a game in front of the fireplace or play pool in the bonus room.

The home has comfortable sleeping & dining space for a family of 10. We can host a maximum of 8 people over the age of 5. This applies 24/7.

The upstairs open concept great room encompasses the kitchen, dining room & living room. A gas fireplace & 55’ big screen make the 7-seater sectional a cozy spot to watch the game. The stainless steel kitchen appliances are all brand new. Kitchen counter has 2 bar stools--great for socializing while meal prepping.

When dinner is hot, the dining table beneath the modern chandelier is steps away. Pull up one of the 6 wingback chairs, or take a seat at the custom wood bench for 4.

If you prefer to dine al fresco, slide open the glass door to the upstairs deck where a gas BBQ & seating for 4 await!

The ground floor bonus family room has a pool table, bar w/ 2 bar stools & sliding door to the hot tub deck. The comfy couch, love seat & TV make this an ideal spot for a late night movie.

When the day is done, there are plenty of comfy beds to sink into for a good night’s sleep.

Upstairs master has a king bed, 50’ TV & lounge chair near the bay windows--perfect for morning reading. It’s attached to a jack-&-jill hallway bathroom w/ dual sinks, a tub for soaking, a walk-in shower & private toilet.

Downstairs master (yes, there are 2!) has a king bed, 45’ TV & ensuite bathroom w/ walk-in shower.

BD3 is upstairs w/ a queen bed, skylight & built-in desk for anyone working/learning from home.

BD4 downstairs has a queen bed & bay windows. BD5 downstairs has twin-over-full & twin-over-twin bunks beds. BA 3 downstairs has a shower/tub combo.

Pets are not allowed due to the homeowner and their guests’ health-threatening allergies. If you have a trained Service or ESA dog we can help you find a dog-friendly home for your stay.

Great place to stay!

We had a group of 7 adults that came to ski and snowboard, and the house was great! The beds and couches were comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the property was well maintained. We enjoyed our stay!

The bedrooms are separate so this a good spot to stay with a group. Hot tub is lovely and the kitchen is well equipped. We loved the hiking trails right out the back door.

A well-appointed gem in tranquil Tahoe

We had a wonderful stay for a recent hockey tournament. This property ticked all the boxes, a quick drive to Tahoe amenities and stores but the hiking trail and green space made for a very peaceful stay. Everything we could have possibly needed was waiting for our convenience including serving bowls, cookie cutters, fans and all of the comforts of home. We would definitely choose this property again.

Nice Family get away

Over all our experience at this home was great. The home met all of our needs. We visited during a late winter storm and the property was warm and cozy. We had a minor issue with a room and it was addressed immediately. We would stay here again in the future. There are a lot of rules for this neighborhood, but once you understand them it’s not to over bearing.

Great location. Off the main roads and hiking trails right outside the door. Great layout for a large group and well stocked. Takes 7 minutes to get to the strip so everything is close by. Would definitely recommend this house for a large gathering.

Happy Hiker is a wonderful house and property for large families and groups of friends. The wooden Indian statue greeted us in the driveway, and the setting adjacent to a cul-de-sac snd trailhead, with no houses and only trees behind it, is lovely, private, and serene. The house is very clean and well stocked. There are hooks on two trees along the lush green lawn for a hammock (not provided), and I was glad I brought mine! The only small quibbles are that the carpets could use a cleaning or replacement, and the kitchen could benefit from a couple of sharper knives and a screen on the window above the sink. Overall we recommend this highly and look forward to coming back. The property manager RNR Vacation Rentals is also very attentive and helpful.
