Lucky Bear Lodge is the perfect mountain escape. This beautiful property is located in a quiet area with a sliver of a ski slope view and is walking distance to the ski shuttles, Bear Mountain Golf Course, and the new Big Bear Alpine Zoo. This multi level home is perfect for small family gatherings and more!

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1540+ sq ft home with living room, TV, dining table, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Upstairs first bedroom has a double bed. Upstairs second bedroom has a double bed. Game room has a twin bunk bed and Apple TV with cable. Game room has a futon. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Full kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Game room with pool table and darts! Board games and card games. This home offers smart TVs with cable, streaming apps along with fast WiFi . Keep yourself warm near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry room with side-by-side washer/dryer.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn the thermostat to 55 degrees. Do not turn off heaters, may result in frozen pipes. Cabins with a hot tub must have jets shut off, cover on and locked. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes.
Remove all trash and take to the appropriate trash site location. See confirmation for address. Trash removal is the City/County Law and not our rule.
Text us at 909-403-3217 upon departure and leave the name of the cabin. Report any damages or information we should be aware of about the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This house was conveniently located in Moonridge near the zoo. The house itself had some issues. The front door handle didn't work for the first two days we were there and we had to move our stuff in the dark on the side of the house where the light didn't work. The gameroom was nice for the kids. The house is on three levels and the upstairs has no bathroom. The two bathrooms are on the other levels. We had Thanksgiving here and the kitchen was adequately equipped but was missing minor items like trivets and no hot pads so cooking was a challenge. The hottub and gameroom and location were the highlights for us.

Awesome Family Trip

The cabin felt like home. Loved the view and the location. Also really loved that our dog was welcome. Excellent TV channels. not that we stayed there the whole time to watch ;) Though it was winter time, the heaters worked well to keep the cabin nice and toasty. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

Hidden Gem

Cozy A-frame with beautiful views. Quiet and very comfortable. The pool table and jacuzzi were great. Clean and spacious. Perfect getaway and close to all shops.No AC but management provided portable fans to keep cool. Highly recommend.

A few complaints but overall stay was decent

Some of the dishes were dirty and had to be washed. I rehashed all the dishes in the kitchen to be on the safe side. My 7 yr old son found a knife under the bed when we were looking for his gloves..I washed that as well. There is sharp wood splinters poking out of the corner of the floor where the basement bathroom is and my kids kept hurting themselves so we put a pillow over it. Also found some laundry trash between the washer and dryer and the upstairs bathroom sink was clogged when we got there. I would've given a higher rating if it was for the knife Under the bed &, the dangerous flooring in the basement where the tile is in the corner. It wasn't a horrible stay the house is very comfortable and the scenery is beautiful. The BBQ pit worked great and my kids loved the play room.

It's just like the pictures. We arrived during a snowstorm and the hot tub was 100 degrees. A big reason I chose this spot was the pool table and darts. The cues / darts present when we arrived made them unplayable. I bought new ones which are passable from the nearby Big 5 on 02/02/24. side note: go there at night. It's a zoo on a snow day. Every other aspect of place was well represented and the support staff are genuine, great folks. Lots of stuff in the cabinets like pillows, blankets, games.

Dirty, and not at all worth the cost.

-Skin scum lining hot tub (must not have been cleaned in weeks) *photos were taken - arrived to unmade beds and our sheets still in the dryer - heating upstairs did not work - pictures on listing are definitely very out of date, looked very shabby and lots of things falling apart/not working *photos were taken - we had to call and wait 4 hours total for our hot tub to be cleaned and heating, etc to be fixed.
