This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom unit sleeps 8 and is right in the heart of the restaurants and shops on Old Mammoth Road! Walk to everything including the Red Line shuttle that's free and goes to The Village and Main Lodge! There is a washer and dryer available on site. The top floor of this unit has wood floors throughout. The living room features a flat screen TV, cozy wood burning stove and a sofa bed. The updated kitchen offers everything you need to cook meals in with friends and family. Downstairs you will find 3 bedrooms! The master offers a queen bed and flat screen TV. The second bedroom offers a bunk bed (full on bottom, twin on top). The third bedroom has a queen bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom with Jack and Jill sinks! Pet Friendly! One pet allowed, additional pets by approval only, please call. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Our calendar is updated in real time. Great location for Spring Skiing

Mammoth vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We experienced a problem with the plumbing upon arrival but this was handled efficiently and professionally by Mammoth Reservations.This unit had the best stocked kitchen as far as pots, pans, utensils, baking, roasting equipment I've ever experienced in our 20+ years of vacationing in Mammoth. I would give it a higher rating if the bedroom and hall carpet was not so stained and dirty looking.

Enjoyable stay at Avery centrally located condo

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a favorable stay. The unit is as described. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked in terms of pots , pans , cutlery and other items to prepare a meal (though the microwave looks like it’s time for replacement). Water pressure and internet worked well. The location is in the heart of mammoth - so close for shopping but not close to the mountain (though there is a bus stop across the street ). Three negatives :1) No garage, so on snow delays you need to move the vehicle during the day (but it was eaSy to park in front of the unit)2) heaters are loud and in the main bedroom constantly goes on and off, so you’re better off heating room and then turning it off when you go to bed or risk being woken by it repeatedly 3) there is no mud room nor closet or hooks or even much space to change footwear when entering or leaving. This is a small inconvenience before heading out to slopes or upon returning.The building maintenance was actually planning to do some repair /maintenance work on the balcony upon our departure which is a positive sign for upkeep Property manager was responsive when contacted.

Management company is very unprofessional. Maintenance man is wonderful and tried to compensate.

We arrived for an early check in as disused with the representative for the management company . When we opened the door the home was a wreck The bathroom fixture ls were off the walls, the doors were off the closet , there was trash everywhere and the stove bottom drawer was broken . The recliner in the living room was broken (is). We called the emergency number and a very kind man said he would try to resolved Once management arrived the main manager a dark haired middle aged attractive lady was so rude . She asked how we got keys and rolled her eyes and said she could not move us to a different, clean unit. We asked for a refund to book elsewhere, she declined . We asked to call the cleaning service to see if they could clean the unit . She refused to call at that moment and I said I would wait for the call. She finally called and immediacy started speaking Spanish and was not saying kind things . We finally checked in . The washer and dryer have remained inoperable even though we called many times. The washer is full of water the the dryer has no heat . The downstairs bedroom has board covered windows and so it remains dark . The location is great . As a fellow rental properu owner , it saddens me that the home that is an investment for someone , is not being cared for and guests are being treated as a bother.

Thank you for the feedback and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We understand our emergency on-call person upon your early arrival mistakenly provided key access to the unit. While an early checking in may have been discussed, it was never confirmed nor charged for so the unit never got blocked. It was a same day turnover with the guest leaving the same morning you arrived. The representative at the front desk called housekeeping and in Spanish asked them to prioritize the unit for you, no bad words were said. In regards to the washing machine, there was an issue with it and this meant getting an appliance company out to service it which we were unable to schedule during your stay as explained, apologies for this inconvenience, it has now been fixed and resolved. The windows do currently have boards on the outside to protect them from being broken by the snow, this is a safety precaution. We have addressed this with all our team and we understand your frustration but on this occasion unfortunately a guaranteed early check in was never confirmed. We hope you will have a more positive experience next time, and hope that you would still consider booking with us in the future. Thank you again for the comments, we take them very seriously. Condo in Need of Desperate Help

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Years ago we would rent unit 2 but the owners sold and we were looking forward to rekindling old memories with a stay in Unit #8. It started off awful as the new lock installed at the front door needs lubricating (graphite). They are extremely difficult to open lock. One set of keys worked better than the other which proved to be a major hassle. It took my son-in-law 10 minutes to open the lock at one point. Once inside we saw that the throw rugs in the living room are a tripping hazard as they are curling up on the edges. We moved the couch back a bit to provide a somewhat safe path to the dining room. The garbage disposal had 2 rocks in it that I removed. Hard to believe considering the high cleaning fees. The worst was the sofa sleeper! The mattress is shot! You can feel all of the springs in it. Not fit at all for a human to sleep on, and on top of it you end up rolling towards the middle of the bed. The whole couch needs replacing as this cannot be considered a place for 2 people to sleep. The Jacuzzi #1 –the jets don’t work-which was disappointing as this is the one we would use years ago The worst thing of all was the heater in the downstairs hallway. It started making noises throughout the whole condo that increased in volume as the night rolled on . It woke everybody up. We stopped using it. Unreal!!! The bathroom exhaust fans do not work. It was a disappointing stay as I was trying to provide for my family a comfortable stay in Mammoth for the weekend and ended up at this outdated extremely overpriced clown show.

Good Space

Like most places in Mammoth, it does not have AC so it would be nice to have a few fans in the rooms downstairs. It got very warm at night. The floors make a lot of noise when you walk around so probably not the best spot for babies. Overall it was a good place for our trip.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the location on this rental. Walking distance to food and groceries. Plenty of parking. The place was clean and organized. But the rental itself needed some TLC. Bathroom fans and wall heaters need maintenance. Freezer leaked into the fridge. One of the keys didn't work on the front door. The other key needed to be wiggled around to work (great way to start your vacation). No answer from the property manager when we called about the key (given it was right around closing time on a Sunday, so understandable. But still a bad experience). This wouldn't be my first choice to stay again. But would do in a pinch.

Some good and some bad

The condo was close to everything in town and well equipped. If you are sharing this condo with other people, make sure you all like the same sleeping schedule. The bedrooms are all downstairs and the living room/kitchen are upstairs. The floors are the loudest and creakiest floors I've ever heard. You will not be able to sleep if someone else is upstairs. Overall the place was clean, but I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the carpet downstairs was very stained and buckling. I liked being close to town but being on the main street was too loud at night. I will opt for someplace a little off the main street next trip. The owners of the condo replaced the router and changed tv service without notifying the property managers. Kudos to the managers for sending someone over to fix it (it wasn't their fault the owners didn't tell them) but it meant we were without internet and had to lose some time waiting for the maintenance guy to come look at it - which was annoying when we only had 2 days in Mammoth. In the summer the bedrooms can be pretty warm at night - you'll want to open up the windows as soon as things cool down in the evening. I don't know what winter is like. Kudos to Mammoth Reservations for their efforts to make things right for us.

Pet-friendly, well stocked as described

The condo was as described and well stocked. Plenty of room and dog friendly. Checkin and out process easy. Located in busy area of town adjacent to a main street with restaurants. Be prepared for noise. Upstairs area was very comfortable and updated. Bedding and bathrooms downstairs also nice and updated. Carpeting downstairs (older) and wood floors upstairs. Overall was as expected.

Great for 2 families

Affordable, clean, close to town perfect for 2 families. Really comfortable loved being able to have a fire every night. Really enjoyed sports center too-pool & hot tub after a day on the slopes was fabulous. We will definitely be back!

Redelijk onderkomen aan drukke weg.

Bij binnenkomst stonk de benedenverdieping. Mogelijk door oude vloerbedekking. Alles was verder schoon, met uitzondering van de douchegordijnen. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Geen airconditioning en in de slaapkamers geen ventilatoren. Door de ligging aan een drukke weg was het geen optie om met de ramen open te slapen. Wel een dingetje middenin de zomer....

Parking was hit and miss. Fridge needed repair. Washer breaker flipped. Noisy neighbors.

More like a residential complex than vacation rental complex. Neighbors liked to hang out under the tree directly in front of the door. Dirty kitchen. Very little storage since most common area closet doors were locked. Nice location to watch 4th of July parade and to walk to stores and the movie theater.
