Absolutely Beautiful

Exactly what we were hoping for and more. Very charming and clean. Beautiful views with privacy and several bear sightings. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful mountain retest!

  • 4 of 5

We had a beautiful time at the Mountain Alpine Ski Lodge. We loved using the hot tub and sitting out on the balcony. We enjoyed having a homebase to cook some meals and relax after a long day of hiking. There are a few minor things that could be fixed such as the dryer is missing the knob and the clothes get caught in it. Also there was some confusion with the alarm so more instructions on how to use it would be helpful.

Guest feedback is vitally important to us, and we use it to improve the overall guest experience. We are having our maintenance team inspect the dryer and the necessary adjustments will be made in order to fix the issue. Wonderful stay in TN

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our time there! The only problem was the dryer gets clothes caught in it and is very hard to turn on as it is missing a knob. The beds and couches are comfortable! Wished some of the trees had been trimmed off the back porch area so there was more of a view of the mountains! Everything else was great!

Owner's Response: Thank you for the great review! We are elated that you had a wonderful vacation in Tennessee. We apologize the dryer knob was not fixed before or during your stay, but you and future renters will be happy to know that we have installed a new knob on the dryer. We also ordered parts and are repairing the ice maker on the unit (this wasn't in the review but our maintenance team found this issue during inspection, and we are happy to share the unit will now have a functioning ice maker). We will also look into trimming some of the branches near the back porch. Thank you again for taking the time to leave feedback. We hope you book with us in the future.

Hot tub, bears and mountains, OH MY!

  • 5 of 5

this cabin is adorable! We LOVED our stay! the hot tub was perfect for our family, and there was just enough room for our family of 5 to sleep comfortably. We saw a bear on the driveway and another two on the roads nearby! We even had a bear get into our car and eat a bag of grapes our 4 year old left behind... LOCK YOUR DOORS! Bring laundry soap, dishwasher soap, etc. with you... or just pick up when you get there like we did. It's super close to the TOP of the mountain, which is awesome! Make sure you know how to disarm the alarm security system when you enter... it's really LOUD if you don't do it correctly lol! The master bed is odd with the foam top, but that would be the ONLY thing I didn't love... but it was otherwise PERFECT! The rental company even called to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Don't wait until the last day like us to find the pool, our kids LOVED it and were sad they didn't get more time there! Great place to stay for sure... make sure to check your brakes prior to coming, it's really up there in the mountains! and ps. Gatlinburg is sooo cute! this cabin is nice and close to all the action of Gatlinburg and the National Park!

We enjoyed our stay. The only negative was the curvy roads after a heavy rain.
