Community Resort Pool:
Open Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9:00 am-9:00 pm.
There is no lifeguard on duty.
Children should never be left unsupervised.

Parking: Two vehicles are permitted here during your stay. Additional cars will be asked to be moved or towed. Vehicles larger than 25’ long are not permitted within the HOA.

Daily Bear Activity: We do have daily bear activity in the community and at the Villa Chalet. Do not leave food, trash, or anything else a bear might think is food outside. Keep vehicle doors locked while parked. NEVER feed the bears or try to pet them.

During your stay, you will receive a one-time bed and bath linen set up as well as the start-up amenities listed below. These start-up amenities will not be replenished during your stay.

Start-up amenities: toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, dish soap, laundry detergent, and kitchen sponge.

There is construction taking place within the neighborhood, typical construction noises may be heard throughout your stay and are beyond our control.

The Villa Chalet is on well water. It is not uncommon for well water to have an odor or brown/yellow color from time to time.

The Chalet is located in the Great Smoky Mountains. As you exit the parkway in Gatlinburg and drive to the chalet you will be on some winding, narrow at times, steep roads. 4WD is recommended in the case of inclement weather.

-You are traveling in the mountains. Roads may be narrow, winding, and steep at times. 4WD is recommended in the fall/winter seasons.

-Travel insurance is recommended for all stays and also for forest fires, flooding, blizzards, and other natural disasters. We will not refund due to said circumstances.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. It was comfortable and convenient to town and local attractions. Bring tissues and salt, pepper & sugar if you think you'll need them.

We took a side trip to spend some time relaxing after a wedding and this cabin was exactly what we needed. The location is up in elevation, on some narrow, winding roads, and it was super quiet and peaceful. It was a perfect location - right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The bed was comfortable and although we went out for lunches and dinners, the cabin seemed to have everything you would need to cook meaIs. The owners were extremely responsive and provided helpful information prior to and during our trip.

Great holiday stay

Stayed with some friends over the holiday weekend and had a great time. The hosts were super helpful and gave some great recommendations on things to do in the area and were super easy to talk with.

Nice cabin off the main road

Good location just far enough off main street for some quiet. Everything worked as it should in the house and it was plenty big enough for our family of 5. The hot tub was a neat extra.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood.

The chalet is easy to find and the check-in was a breeze. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. The king size beds were very comfortable. The washer/dryer was also a plus after hiking in the Smoky Mountain National Park! We enjoyed our stay.

The host tried! Communication was good. The place was pretty gross. When we walked in there was a smell. Musty like. So we opened the windows thinking maybe it had just been enclosed for a while. As we started looking around, and especially in the bathroom, there is mold on the ceiling and the ceiling fan had at least a quarter inch of dust. I do have pictures and wish I could show them. Then we get to the bedrooms, the ceiling fan had an inch of dust on it, the pillows did not have coverings, and one of the bedspreads on the two king beds had a stain. I requested new pillows, pillow, coverings, and different blankets. They showed up with pillow coverings and new bedspreads. No pillows. The pillows were so gross that they looked like they just came out of the Goodwill bin outback. After sharing that we did not get the pillows, I again reached out and they told me that they would allow me to cancel my last two days and give me all my money back. We were just there from another state for four days. The last thing I wanted to do was look for another place to stay. As you know, it’s cheaper the longer you stay because you’re not paying for a cleaning person. I have many pictures, including the mold in the bathroom. This is actually the only VRBO I’ve ever stayed at that was terrible. I think it was a new listing because that’s what it said, so maybe they will take this and fix up the place. I do worry that the mold may be toxic. We had the windows open the entire time

Wonderful!

I had a wonderful stay in this cabin! I stayed in Gatlinburg primarily to hike and take in the gorgeous scenery of the Great Smoky Mountains. The location was perfect as it had me far enough out of town where I didn't have to be near all the tourists but close enough that I didn't have to drive too far to the hiking trails, scenic drives or neighboring towns like Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Townsend and Bryson City. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities one could hope for. It was so quiet and peaceful! The owners gave me a ton of helpful information about the cabin and staying in Gatlinburg in general. I was especially grateful for the info since it was my first time staying in this area. The check-in/check-out process was super easy as well. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
