We loved our stay at Atlantic Paradise!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week staying at Atlantic Paradise. The house was exactly as the pictures showed and even better. It was clean, very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool, elevator very great bonuses. It was an easy short walk to the beach and the 2 outside showers very great for showering the grandkids. The rental company was very quick in responding to one minor issue we had. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Best Friends Trip

This house was everything we hoped it would be. Clean, spacious, and a great location for an old group of friends to reunite. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and and grill tools. The two dishwashers came in handy, as did the two refrigerators. The hot tub was the star of the show on chillier days! Keyless entry made check-in seamless. Make sure to pack or plan a grocery run for extra toilet paper, hand soaps, dish detergent, trash bags, etc. House comes with the bare minimum in that regard. Would love to rent this house again.

Beautiful location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second year we stayed at Atlantic Paradise. The location is great. It is close to everything you need (beach, stores, etc). The front balcony is the perfect location to watch the sunrise. The only negative things I could say is, It could use a few more chairs on the balcony and on the back balcony and they need a better vacuum cleaner. The one they have now did not work so we were not able to vacuum. But other than those two MINOR things it is great!

Thank you for choosing to stay at Atlantic Paradise for the second year in a row! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the convenient location and the stunning sunrises from the front balcony—it truly is a special spot. We appreciate your suggestions about adding more chairs to the balconies and updating the vacuum cleaner. Your feedback helps us make improvements, and we’ll certainly look into these areas to enhance the experience for future guests. We’re so glad you had another great stay, and we look forward to welcoming you back for your next visit!

Atlantic Paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the efficiency of the home and the proximity to the beach. The private beach for the Southern Shores Community was wonderful. The road out front is busy but cars immediately stop at the crosswalk for pedestrians to cross. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool as well after a day at the beach. The maintenance of the pool was impeccable, it was crystal clear, as was the hot tub. House was clean upon arrival and the amount of bedroom /bathrooms were sufficient for our large family. There was an ice cream, donut and many shops within walking distance and grocery stores etc. were a few minute drive. All made for a great week with family. We hope to rent it again some day!

Atlantic Paradise

House was absolutely beautiful. Kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked all of our meals for 14 adults and had all the gadgets we needed. The dining room table however needs to be replaced or refinished. The surface is awful. My elderly parents stayed in the bedroom on the middle floor on the front of the house. They complained daily about how uncomfortable their mattress was. Perhaps that one needs replacing. The living room furniture has also seen a lot of wear. The pool, hot tub, and elevator all worked great. We had some light bulbs out in bathrooms when we checked in and someone came out on Sunday to fix them. Very quick service. We truly loved the location and the house. We would definitely stay again.

Not Great

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time going to the Outer Banks so maybe our expectations were high. The house, upon arrival, showed a lot of signs of wear. There were rust marks all over the outside, the wood work and decking is in need of a lot of repair, and the furniture all around the outside of the house is cheap plastic furniture that is brittle to sit on. The inside of the house smelled musty, the furniture was piece mealed and very very worn. The bathrooms had black mold growing in them, in and around the shower. There were multiple lights burned out, and the main deck off the back of the house looks to be poorly constructed with random anchors placed throughout. The floors and banisters look to be uncleaned and there is split molding and caulking everywhere. The ceiling on the upper floor is cracked and the chair in one of the king masters on the second floor is broken. We also noticed that the HVAC was not properly zoned as one side of the house was freezing and the opposite side stayed uncomfortably warm. There is only a park grill which is called out in the amenities but when the house is going for over $12K a week, how hard would it be to buy a $400 grill? The landscaping is way overgrown around the pool and infringes on the sitting area and the gate out to the pool is completely rotted. The only positive about this house, in our opinion, was the location to the beach. Otherwise, this house needs to be completely remodeled and updated.

We thank you for your feedback, Matthew. How unfortunate that these items were not brought to our attention during your visit. Had they been, we would have been able to address concerns of maintenance and housekeeping immediately. These items have been passed to our team so they may be handled with care. The landscaping and flora are native to the area, and may appear unkept in its natural state. However we have made note of your feedback. Your displeasure with the grill type has been noted as well although, as you mentioned, the grill type is clearly listed on the website. We are terribly sorry to hear that these diminished your vacation experience so. Our agents would be more than happy to assist you in finding the perfect home for you the next time you visit to the Outer Banks!

Home Close to Beach Access

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has a large kitchen that is well appointed with plenty of room for multiple cooks at the same time. The home is located just across the street from beach access and has great views of the ocean from the top deck.It would have been nice to have a few more deck chairs on the decks so that more from our party could enjoy the ocean views. As well, the light fixtures and fans need a good dusting. The fan in the mid level twin bed room was very noisy and rocked a lot. It needs some attention. Also, the couches in the main living room should be replaced. The springs have given out on them and one sinks down quite low when sitting on them.

Uncomfortable

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was very uncomfortable. We felt violated because The owner stalked us. The owner watched thru door bell cameras of our comings and goings, due to a service dog. We felt like we were being harrassed. The only good was a very nice and professional employee of Beach Reality.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback regarding your recent stay at "Atlantic Paradise." We regret to hear that you felt your privacy was impeded on while occupying this home. Prior to your arrival, you had indicated that you would be bringing a service animal to the home and had agreed to the terms associated with having a service animal, which are laid out by Fair Housing. There was also a direct conversation with our rental manager, as we have with each guest that is bringing a service animal into a non-pet friendly home. The intent of this conversation is to ensure that everyone is aware of the rules for the behavior of service animals and their handlers. When the owner checked in on his cameras, it was apparent that the dog had been left behind without it's handler which caused concern to the owner. Cameras are disclosed on our website if they are installed at the property, with a description of the camera location. After discussion, they did agree to allow you to stay at the home and did not opt to have an eviction proceeding held for violating the lease. We apologize for any impact that this had on your stay and hope to have another opportunity to welcome you back to the Outer Banks again in the future.

OBX September 2022

Location, Location, Location!!! The property was all that we expected and more! If we could have ordered the weather, it definitely exceeded our expectations. We had 5 couples in our group who all enjoyed the beach, pool, local restaurants, seafood and making memories. The island's relaxing vibe made the trip all that we hoped it would be. Any concerns were promptly addressed by staff at Beach Realty. We would love to return to OBX and everyone agreed that the property was perfect!

Heaven in Atlantic Paradise

Twelve people representing three generations. Plenty of room on the main floor for all to be together. But also, (with 7 BRs, game room, sundecks, and pool) plenty of room for all to retreat for some alone time. We had lousy weather, but what a great time we all had!

House was perfect for 12

Beautiful house with lots of bathrooms and bedrooms for our extended familiy of 12. The very private pool was perfect for our everybody and especially for our grandchildren who had a great time. The beach is very close and easily accessible across a fairly busy road. Lovely views and well designed and fitted out kitchen with a large table that seated us all.
