With a huge open plan kitchen, dining & living room at the heart of the main floor, this is a vacation property offering you unrivalled opportunities for entertaining or relaxing. There are Four King bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. Two of these bedrooms are configurable as oversized twin beds. One large family room with two hide a beds for extra guests. Grand total of 8 beds all together.

A private eight person Hot Tub.

Media room, mud room, underfloor heating, double garage, additional parking, two decks and dedicated laundry room. Five TVs & five digital satellite TV boxes and a 2 player Cocktail Arcade Multicade Theme Arcade game console.

* Please feel free to contact me either via the online booking tool or directly if your stay exceeds the minimum, as I am happy to discount additional nights. I am then happy to process it online and do use online payments for the rent , giving you the full protection from the website.

The main gondola plaza is less than five minutes away by a short walk. In the winter season, a ski-able path is available at the end of the road, down to the main lift. During weekends and holidays, the pioneer lift is also operational, and is a short walk away. The map below gives you more colour on the location of the house and the lifts, as well as other amenities at the resort.

Our house has been designed with modern life in mind. The main floor is set up with a generous open plan kitchen, living and dining area. This is complemented by a front deck providing views over onto the valley and a large rear deck housing the main eight person hot tub. Both decks come with seating, and there is a table with chairs and a BBQ on the back deck.

It is perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing as a family group. We can also host events and provide catering services upon request, and my housekeeper can be booked for cleaning services during your stay.

All four bedrooms are en suite. Two bedrooms are fixed as King beds and the other two can be configured as King beds or two twin beds. Additional guests can be accommodated in the media room, with a Queen sofa bed.

All four bedrooms also have their own TV & digital satellite box. There is an additional fifth TV & digital satellite box in the media room, which comes with surround sound & a blue ray DVD player.

The master bedroom and en suite is located on the main floor. The other three bedrooms and the media room are located on the lower level. The hallway leads into the mud room and further into a laundry room. Access continues into a double garage with heated flooring and ample space for storage. Further parking is available on the generous driveway.

Really great place. We had 14 people in our group and there was lots of space for us. A few minor issues that were immediately resolved. Check in and check out were very easy. I would recommend this place for a large group.

Family of 11, ages 11-78.Spacious, high-spec, well maintained and provisioned, including every appliance you might need in the huge kitchen (coffee maker, popcorn maker, smoothie maker, sodastream(!) ) and with a well-stocked pantry to boot (coffee, full range of herbs and spices, salt, pepper, sugar, etc).Retro games table, massage chair/compact torture chamber, TV in every room, high speed WiFi, mountain views front and back, hot tub, laundry with modern high capacity washer and dryer.Lots to do at Kicking Horse Resort (you could spend a week just riding all the downhill mountain biking trails!) and in the local area (Wild Water Adventures were great for white water rafting).Be prepared for some long drives to visit Banff, Lake Louise, the Columbia Icefields and Jasper.Saw a mother bear and cub one morning at the bottom of the hill, near the bridge.Mesh over openable windows was a godsend given the hot weather and ravenous mosquitoes.Carmen was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks!

Group Ski Vacation

The photos do not do this place justice! The home is beautiful, and the setup is a perfect for a large group. Split into two levels, with 4/5 rooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs, and a large kitchen and living room upstairs with the master. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, there were plenty of towels and bedding for the group. The home was cleaned very well, no dust to be found anywhere. The host was gracious and responsive with our questions. Just a short 100m way from our front door was a groomed trail to ski to the lifts. Would definitely book again. Thanks for the vacation!

Perfect getaway chalet, repeat visit

Our group of two families returned to this beautiful spot for a wonderful ski holiday. We made all our meals and enjoyed them around the dining table. We skied in for lunch, relaxed in the spacious great room, enjoyed the hot tub apres ski and slept soundly in the comfy beds. We appreciated all the touches and know we will return to this favourite spot. Thank you!

Family Weekend

I rented the house so my entire family (3 generations) could spend time together and ski. The house works perfect, large kitchen social area, bedrooms with ensures and located perfectly on the ski hill so you can ski pout and back. Clean well furnished and stocked.

Beautiful Ski Accommodation for Large Groups

Carmen’s ski chalet was a 5 start stay. The location made skiing convenient and it was the perfect size to host our large gathering of friends. Lots of space and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay (including an amazing massage chair and hot tub for after a long day in the slopes!)

Beautiful and fully stocked!!

This home is absolutely beautiful. It is the most fully stocked Vrbo we have ever stayed in. So first of all this is a 4 bedroom home (not a 5 bedroom) there is a TV room downstairs with a pull out couch that they must be referring to as a 5th bedroom. All 4 bedrooms have their own attached bathroom with is incredibly stocked with towels. There is only 1 hot tub and it is upstairs on the patio. The second hot tub does not work and is off one of the downstairs bedrooms. It would be nice if they either replaced it or removed it and sry up a little sitting area. 1 bedroom is upstairs on the main floor and the rest are downstairs. This home is located in a beautiful area and the host was a pleasure to work with. Our family paid a lot to stay here. We did get a complaint from the neighbours on the hot tub side as the kids were up late (of course as we are on vacation) in the hot tub and made some noise. So that was unfortunate but am sure they live there year round and get tired of having a vacation rental next door. With that being said, the host was kind and reminded us of quiet time which we did our best to respect. The massage chair was awesome and we all tried it. You do not have to worry about bringing spices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate ect as this home had it all. We loved it and would return in a heartbeat! Thank you to the hosts and sorry to the neighbours.

Amazing Property - great for large groups

This house is large, the photos don't do it justice. There are 4 full bedrooms with king size beds and several bathrooms. The extra living room in the basement offers a 5th bedroom. Walking distance to the lifts. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with all the things you might need - spices, cooking & baking, plastic & foil wrap etc. We will def stay there again.

Outstanding Property

We had an outstanding stay at this beautiful vacation rental! The layout of the house was excellent—spacious and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of room for everyone. It was well-appointed with everything we needed, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Although it's very close to the Kicking Horse ski area, we visited in the off-ski season to explore the Canadian National Parks, and while it's a little off the main path for that, it was still very convenient for our trips. Golden, just 15 minutes away, offered many excellent restaurants, making dinners easy and enjoyable. The home was delivered impeccably clean and tidy, and the overall value was exceptional. I highly recommend this property and will definitely return on our next visit!

Overall great stay.

Property is as advertised. Beautiful Mountain View’s, spacious, fully loaded kitchen and bathrooms. Smaller hot tub wasn’t working during our stay which was a bummer. *Warning* Neighbor is a big stickler about ANY noise, he would consistently nag us about being out in the hot tub even though it was before the posted “quiet hours.” Sort of made my group always feel like we were walking on egg shells to not bother this gentleman because he seemed like a wildcard. Not only did he expect a group of people in their mid 20’s to be as silent as a church mouse before 10pm he would have a whole construction crew at 6am with an excavator digging post holes… Also I may have overlooked it but this property doesn’t have air conditioning so it gets pretty toasty for summer visitors. My group experienced power outages that lasted 5+ hours about three times. Not sure if that is normal for the

Great location and house

We had a good stay. The house was the perfect size to host our family weekend (8 adults and one toddler). We all enjoyed the space for a long weekend would come back in the future. A few things about the house that didn’t make our stay a 5 star weekend was that the second hot tub was not operational, and the host did not communicate this to us in advance of our weekend (it had no water in it). We also found that the kitchen was not adequately stocked for large groups (only 3 wine glasses, 2 dishwasher pods, half a paper towel roll, almost no dish soap,etc). At the price point we expected better stock of these essentials without the need to reach out to the host. When we did reach out for some items, there was no additional stock available. There were also no outdoor glassware which made it more challenging to be outside. We also found that in general there were not enough towels for the hot tub and showers (less than one per person for a three night stay) and most rooms were missing light bulbs in the lamps. The house would benefit from a thorough property management review to make sure it is well stocked/operational. Lastly, there seemed to be a plumbing issue which only allowed one person to shower at a time. This wouldn’t have been an issue if we were notified in advance, however we discovered the issue when the water shut off mid shower for some family members. Overall we did enjoy our stay, but there were some bigger issues that took away from our experience being 5/5.

Ski and Stay in early March

We loved our stay at this very spacious, well-appointed home! Appreciated that all bedrooms offered equal privacy, ensuites and comfort. The new furniture in the living room was so nice and accommodated a large group. Loved the massage chair after skiing and even is adults enjoyed the corner Pac-Man Etc console for daily challenges!
