Great House!!

We recently stayed a Wakita Wave and absolutely loved it! The house was great, the pool was fantastic to be able to retreat to in the afternoon evenings and the beachfront was phenomenal. Highly recommend for families and large groups.

Perfect Family Retreat

Had a wonderful time at Wakita Wave! The house was a perfect place for us to celebrate my retirement with my family. Wonderful views of the sunrise from all the decks, Room for everyone to relax. And spending time on the beach and in the pool was just what we needed! Thank you!

The home was clean, the ice machine did not work and was moldy. None of the GFIs in the bathrooms worked we tried the circuit breakers but no luck. Then the next day they were working after the pool guy came. The house has an elevator that guests are not allowed to use. The railings on some of the stairs were loose and there were signs stating that the railing was wobbly but they should have been fixed immediately.The roof top deck railing was missing one slat and was also very loose. These things need to be addressed, they are safety concerns. We had a women with us that needed to use the railing to get up the stairs and since they were loose we had to help her up the stairs. For the amount of money we paid for the house loose railings should not be an issue.

Family Vacation

The house was wonderful for our 4 generation family vacation. The pool and private beach access were greatly enjoyed by all. There are 20 steps to enter the house from the garage. There are more steps to get to the living/kitchen area. Then more to get to the 3rd floor where the pool table and rooftop patio are. The elevator is not for guest use, so just be aware. Take all the signs on the decks, etc seriously! There were a few minor issues we pointed out to the owner on our departure, but all in all a memorable time.

The house was very accommodating for our large group, plenty of room for all. Parts of the house could use some cleaning and maintenance (banisters need to be replaced) but overall we enjoyed our stay even with the rainy weather!

Amazing

This home exceeded or expectations! Sometimes pictures are deceiving but not for this property, it was just the way it was shown. Check in was smooth and any questions we had were promptly answered. The pool was at a perfect temperature what was amazing since in March we had colder temperatures. The owners even had a welcome gift set out for us. We were a party of 12 ladies celebrating the upcoming wedding of my granddaughter. We had an absolutely amazing time. We highly recommend this rental and we sure will be back next year…

Fun at the Wave

Our family stayed at the Wakita Wave house from Monday, 2/16 until Friday, 2/20. It is a beautiful home. 6 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths. One of the most well equipped and beautiful kitchens in any vacation home that we have ever rented. And there have been many. Loved the huge dining room table where we could all sit together to eat. Did fun crafts and played games at this table. Swam in the heated pool every day although it was cold outside. Beautiful sunrises from the multiple porches on the house. Had a wonderful family vacation in this home!

Awesome home for our family vacation

Our family of 11 stayed at Wakita Wave in Folly Beach. This house was better than what the pictures showed. It was so spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked, the pool was refreshing and the private boardwalk out to the beach/ocean just steps away from the house was the icing on top. This was the best trip ever!
