Overall, this space met our needs. Location is great! Very close to bike paths and the Bay. However, even though it met our needs, this space wasn’t the cleanest. The floors could use a sweep, there were cobwebs in the corners and on the windows. Dust under the furniture pieces. The bathrooms didn’t have towels, hand towels or wash clothes. We did find them in a closet, except for hand towels, they were nowhere to be found. The master bed was terribly hard and sloped on one side. The couches are also very hard and uncomfortable. The walls are dented in places and marked up. A few upgrades to this space and it would be a great place to stay.

Rented unit for a trip to friends wedding. Medical emergency canceled a wedding. Stay was good. Unit was in good shape. Everything as listed.wnjoyed our. I screwed up the reservation and all parties were most gracious and accommodating

Nice

Decent and quiet neighborhood. Great location, close to trail for biking, walking. Nice bakery nearby for coffee and pastries. Not far from beaches, shopping and dining out. Overall my family enjoyed our stay.

Not what expected

The place needed to be cleaned of ants, spiders, and bugs upon arrival. Cobwebs and dirt everywhere. The lint trap of drier was clogged and unable to use until unclogged. No trash bags, dish cloth, or simple necessities provided. When contacting the owner it is not the owner but the cleaning person who would not help and stated to contact evolve to resolve all issues.

We booked this property at the last minute and ignored the reviews. Do not ignore the reviews. The condo was in nice quiet complex but the owners clearly are not concerned with presentation. Starting at the front door. The mat outside the front door looked like it was 10 years old. A $10 investment could have remedied that. The kitchen cabinets had random items all over the place. It was requested at checkout to dispose of all food but there was an entire cabinet filled with half used food items. The laundry room looked like a garbage closet filled with random boxes and old shoes on a shelving unit. A washer/dryer was advertised and the dryer has clearly not been working for long time which basically deems the washer unusable. The bathrooms had hair in the showers and both shower curtains had orange mold on them. The master bedroom closet was locked but there was a light inside the closet that went on and off all day and night. it wasn’t clear whether the bedding was actually cleaned. Not new looking, all beds sloppily made upon arrival. The back patio area was so full of pollen, dead bugs, and spider eggs. It took me about 40 minutes to sweep it out and wipe off the pollen that was on the two Adirondack chairs. You could barely get out of the screen door on the patio because the plants were completely overgrown. If anyone took maybe 2 hours a month to maintain this property it really could be nice. Great location poor property maintenance. Super disappointed.

Constant issues

We were in town for our anniversary and they did let us check in early, which was nice; however they didn’t have the proper code set that they instructed us to use in the email. The contact didn’t answer to let us in, but we eventually figured out by guessing. The listing said the condo was NEW and charming. It looks as if someone is using it as their beach condo and also renting it out & that they “slapped lipstick on a pig”. They have some nice features, but you can tell it was put together quickly. The bathroom door doesn’t fit the frame, so you can completely see through when the door is closed. The paint job looks like a child did it. The place charges more than most for a cleaning fee, yet there was hair and dust all over the top of the showers and moldy shower curtains. I tried to shower in the master bath & within 2 minutes I was standing in 2 inches of water that didn’t drain for 30 minutes (after I switched to the other shower). I was told by the contact that “it is probably just some hair” as if this was acceptable. We had a missing smoke detector in the bedroom & we also had trouble getting onto WiFi. It took us messaging the contact for them to reset the WiFi. We also had to reach out after being locked out of the condo the day after check in for them to reset the code once again. Not worth the money & we will not be back. We could have stayed at a hotel and had more time to enjoy our weekend away from the kids!

Great location

Check in was very well communicated. The condo is was nicely kept, it could have been a little cleaner, their was some food and shoes left behind. But overall a nice place to stay in a great location!

Very nice and convenient property

The unit was just right for our needs with a kids bedroom that was on the far side of the unit from our bedroom, and nice amenities throughout. The outdoor pool for community residents was very nice and convenient, and we made use of it every day of our stay. Just a short drive to the calm Lewes Beach, and a bit further to Rehoboth Beach and Jungle Jim's waterpark, with plenty of dining options nearby (Crabby Dick's and Sakeumi are two of our faves). We arrived a bit early and that may have thrown off the cleaning crew, who did an okay job but missed a couple of minor things. Nothing serious though, and we very much enjoyed our stay, and will consider returning.
