Brand new on the rental market, this newly and beautifully decorated 2 bed 2 bath first floor unit is just steps away from the white powder sand of the world famous Siesta Key Beach. This first floor corner unit is conviently located next to the the pool and has a back lanai that allows easy acces to the beach as well as beautiful sunset views. The unit is furnished with a king size bed in the master bedroom and a walk in shower in the master bathroom. The second bedroom can accommodate 3 guests with a twin over full bunk bed. There are also queen and twin size sleeper sofas in the spacious living area. The dining table seats 6 guests comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen will provide for an enjoyable and relaxing evening in. Equipped with beach chairs, towels, sand toys and umbrella for your convience all you will have to do is relax and enjoy your stay. Laundry is also available in the building. La siesta condominiums is just a short walk to the downtown area of Siesta Key where there are numerous restaurants bars and shops.
Downtown Sarasota and the airport are just a short drive away. We look forward to welcoming you to our little piece of paradise

Not the cleanest...

Condo looks nice initially. But on further inspection, it was not super clean. Sand in the bed, thick dust on the blinds, coffee grounds all over some of the kitchen drawers/utensils, mildew on the showers, etc. Extra blankets smelled dirty, like body odor, and I had to wash them in order to use them. Found mold in 2 cups. The grounds are not well kept. Things are dated. The pool was murky, with tons of hair floating in it. Someone in one of the other condos kept smoking weed and it would waft down in to our balcony. Though, the balcony was essentially unusable because there was so many beach items stashed in it. Proximity to the beach is great. But overall, the condo was not the best. Would not book again.

Great location worst amenities.

Great condo, Great location. Absolutely horribly managed and totally cheaped out!!! There is absolutely nothing in this condo for you to use. When you get there be prepared to buy anything and everything you will need including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, any and all toiletries, there's not even a cold pack in the freezer. We had to buy everything. When I asked the management where everything was that the previous renters left there in good faith for the next people they explained to me that they and the maids pillage everything for themselves. So if you want to do any cooking there's not even seasoning. No condiments. There's a dishwasher but God forbid there should be any dishwashing detergent. Broken, scratched, old disgusting pots and pans. I've done this over 30 times in five countries and I have never seen a place so bare-boned. This could be a great rental of it was properly managed.

Location was perfect for our family beach vacation

Short walk across the lot to wonderful Siesta Beach. Enjoyable swimming pool and some fun games available for the family. Bring extra toilet paper and garbage bags, only 2 rolls and 1 bag provided.

Be aware

This whole experience was not as expected. First at all combo decorated beautifully, on the pictures everything looks beautiful. But when you actually arrive this combo is SO OLD and Nasty. This appointment probably 20+ year old. Everything is very old and don’t work properly. Shower doors broken. The Vacuum that they provide full of hair. This property don’t provides garbage bags. Just think about you are going on vacay and have to buy toilet paper, salt, garbage bags etc. I’m mean , what?! Property HAS to provide all Necessities. Instead of spending money all decor please provide necessities and fix this old nasty condo. Never come back!

Location plus

Cannot beat the location! Beach chairs provided were very much appreciated. Bathrooms were a problem, especially moldy shower curtain . Bathrooms are small , especially the master.

Perfect Location!

This unit is located directly across the street from the Siesta Key Public Beach and within walking distance from the village. There’s also a trolley stop steps away that provides free transportation on the island. The pool and club house were an added bonus (pool table, table tennis, shuffle board, and small fitness area with restrooms & showers). The sleeper sofas were very uncomfortable but probably sufficient for children. We’d definitely stay here again.

A bit disappointed

We did enjoy our vacation but there were alot of small problems with the stay. Some were resolved some were not. First thing we found a black hair on the outside of the refrigerator. We had bought alot of items to go in freezer. We noticed a smell from the freezer and bought arm and hammer to help. It didnt do any good. We had to throw away everything in freezer. It took on the smell. The ceiling fan in the master did not work. The wifi did not work and the sound and video on the bedroom tv out of sync. This was on friday. A maid was sent out to clean inside of freezer which helped. A maintenance person was sent out on monday. The fan was not repaired and the tv started acting up after he left. We were able to get on wifi . We were given the wrong password originally. I also called about the hot water in the master bathroom. There wasnt any after the first day of a 7 day stay. This was never addressed. So basically. The master bedroom would get warm if the door was closed. The tv was unwatchable and i took cold showers 6 out of 7 days. Not worth the cost that i wad charged. Thankful we had ac and the condo dishes and such were well supplied. One other thing. It is a little misleading about how close you are to beach. We were unable to use the beach very much because of the walk due to members of the party being handicapped.

Perfect Location

The condo is very nice, well kept and is across the street from the beach. The property is in the middle of all the fun stuff and fun places to go. It is easily accessible by car and public transportation has a stop at the corner. We loved our stay.

Everything was easy and as advertised, ....except 1 thing

Everything was as adventized. The unit was very nice very well appointed very clean and had everything we needed. Check-in process was very easy as well. Location is directly across from the main county Beach Park. Pluses and minuses to that. The plus is there's lots going on beach rentals, concession stand, and lots of people. The lots of people though can also be the downside. The only issue with the unit is that the private Wi-Fi was not accessible. I followed the instructions inside the unit and from the email sent to me (password slightly different in both), but neither worked. All in all a very good stay.

Great visit!

This place was spot on! Good location with a mile walk to the village or a short trolley ride. A short walk to the beach with great sand and beautiful water. The pool is nice and refreshing too if you need a break from the sand.

Fantastic Family Vacation

I can’t say enough about the property location and unit ! It was truly a perfect set up for our family of 5 ... we already booked for next year ! Beds were comfortable and unit was immaculate. Beach perfect , community pool excellent and a quick trolley or drive to the village in the mornings for smoothies and açaí bowls and back after sunset for nighttime fun . A perfect week at La Siesta!

Great Location

We were honored to be the owners' first guests and really enjoyed our week. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, well stocked and very homey. Location was perfect - close to the beach, walking distance to the village, easy first floor access. If timing works out, we definitely will forward to retuning.
