Perfect Holiday Weekend

This house was perfect for our family gathering to attend the Indy Car races at Mid Ohio. So convenient and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Would absolutely rent again.

Perfect place to stay for families, has everything you need and then some!!! The owners even had the fire pit ready for a camp fire on our first night. Would recommend this to our friends and families.

Group of running friends needing place to stay for few days mainly to sleep and clean up after enjoying all things local. Location was extremely accessible and accommodating and amenities were well thought out. Loved the decor.

Road America Race Weekend

What a fun and convenient location. The house has a nice deck and huge yard to enjoy. Also, the grill is near the deck and all ready to go. ten minutes from the track with ample services along the way.

A great place to stay!!

My wife and I just wanted a few days of quiet with our two puppies, and this was perfect! The puppies (two year old Jack Russells) loved the yard to run around in and smell the wood piles. We loved the deck and the house. The house is super clean and comfortable, and includes all the needed amenities. Thanks so much for letting us stay!

Good time overall

Clean, tucked away, had ever we needed. The smell of the water coming from the kitchen faucet was strong. It smelled like sewage, but other than that we had a great time.

Thank you for your review. I'm so sorry about the smell. It definitely was not coming from the water. However, our plumber found a warped seal that was occasionally letting sewer gases escape under the kitchen sink. We are hopeful that he was able to remedy the problem.

Perfect house, close to MidO

This was our second 7 night stay at this beautiful house and we really enjoyed it again! Located in safe woody area close to everything we needed - race track, restaurants, grocery stores. We will be back. Hoping for faster internet:)

I really liked the decor. However the kitchen cabinets around the sink were full of mold. We decided we would have to eat out rather than cook anything there. Definitely got into our budget. We didn’t even want to open them after the discovery which was on arrival. Pretty disappointing to say the least.

Hi Tim, I am very sorry to hear about your experience with mold at our home. You will note that this has never been mentioned in any other review that we have received over the years. I definitely plan to check it out when I go over to the property tomorrow as I cannot imagine how the mold would have gotten there. I"m very sorry that you weren't comfortable eating there and would like to refund you $200 of your payment to help defray the costs you incurred for having to eat out.

Second year in a row stay. Only two highlights for the next visitor. AC unit not working and the fan in the bear room did not work.

Lance, I'm really sorry the air conditioning did not work during your stay. We were not aware of it as it had not been turned on for this season yet. Unfortunately we were not able to get a repairman in over the weekend, but he came yesterday morning and got it fixed. We will check out the ceiling fan this week as well since we did not know it wasn't functioning. Once again, I'm sorry for this inconvenience. I'm thankful the weather wasn't unbearably hot during your stay. Thanks for the 5 star review in spite of these issues. We hope you'll come again next year!

Race Weekend

We were only in the property overnight each day. Theme was hunting lodge, might want to make sure that is called out. Need instructions one how to lock doors when leaving.

Thank you for your "4 star" review of our VRBO home. I'm sorry if you were offended by the "hunting lodge" feel of the home. We do mention "hunting-themed" in our property description as we realize that not everyone appreciates seeing mounted animals in a home, and we certainly don't want to mislead anyone to think otherwise. This home is actually used as a hunting lodge during the winter months, thus the hunting theme. We trust you found the beds and home comfortable and clean otherwise! Sorry about your not being able to lock the door when you left, it should just lock itself upon closing, but somehow the lock must have been turned (perhaps in an attempt to lock it?)
