Great home & perfect location with both Windham and Hunter Mountains a quick drive away. Owner was extremely responsive to all inquiries and provided local knowledge on local things to do.

This VRBO is in a beautiful location, and the host's communication was clear and friendly. The condition of the VRBO was below expectations. There were small holes in several walls, as well as in a lamp shade. The walls and ceiling appeared dirty or stained in some rooms. While most of these issues did not directly impact our stay, they did make the accommodations feel les

Weekend getaway

We had a family wedding to attend to all weekend and needed a place that would accept our small dog. E we brought his crate and he was secured while we were out of the house. The property was full of surprises around every corner and we enjoyed walking around with it dog. The owners were very accommodating and left courtesy supplies for bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and outdoor activities, which we, unfortunately, were unable to do due to lack of time. Definitely would stay there again should there be a need.

Cleanliness

The house was very dusty. The sheets on the bed were very stained and there was no extra toilet paper in either bathroom and no hand towels

Great Getaway

We stayed at the property for 6 nights. We (my husband Mike and I) and our dogs enjoyed our stay alot but the property needs some work and updating. The shower door in the bathroom off the master bedroom is ready to fall off. The toilet seat in that bathroom is also ready to fall off. The microwave handle is broke (I had no idea it was broke until I went to open it). I am surprised that handle did not snap off when I opened it. And that microwave made an awful noise when it was used (like it is on its last leg). The sliding door by the kitchen table does not open well and the lock on the screen is broke. The property is in the perfect location and provides a peaceful and comfortable stay. We loved how secluded it was, but the property could really use AC. As Evolve Rental Property Owners ourselves we noticed the little things not working right or broke probably alittle more than others would. Although there were things that needed to be done to upgrade the property we would recommend it to anyone looking for a more quiet and privacy place to just relax and unwind in. And being able to bring our Fur Kids was a huge plus. The owners were very nice, leaving us a bottle of wine and a message welcoming us to their property. I only gave the rating of 4 stars because of the needed repairs that should be done to the property.
