Bell Cottage offers serenity and stunning sea views. Situated 5km from Russell township in Northland's Bay of Islands, you'll enjoy a comfortable but laid back set-up with all the necessities for a refreshing getaway - you can take your pick of lazy days on the sofa, or step outside and indulge in the ultimate holiday living. Native bush surrounds with native birds, gorgeous sea views, exquisite sunsets and a beach at the bottom of the garden.
From here you can access the whole of the Bay of Islands by boat or car and experience the nature, history and beauty of this special part of New Zealand.
Bell Cottage has been in our family for many years — its very special to us. We love getting away from it all - we can feel ourselves instantly relax the minute we arrive. Over the years we've updated and improved the interior to make a really cosy and comfortable but relaxing holiday home.
The spacious kitchen is well equipped for those who wish to cook plus there is a Weber BBQ out on the deck. Eat indoors or out and relax on the outdoor sofas and sun loungers.
The most comfortable beds and hotel quality linens ensure blissful sleeps. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the upstairs mezzanine bedroom offers two single beds and a queen bed.
Towels, facecloths, handtowels, bathmats and kitchen towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Please note:
Bathroom 2 has external, covered, same level access off the back deck (no internal access).
The stairs up to the mezzanine are relatively steep, and are not suitable for young children and people with less mobility.
The mezzanine does not have a door but screens provide privacy.
Adults should closely supervise young children to ensure that they do not climb the deck barrier. There are frames which can be inserted for safety with toddlers.

Please note that pets are not allowed at this property.

The path down to the beach can be slippery when wet so all guests should take care. Adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.

A Nespresso coffee machine is available for your use. A few pods are provided to get you started but it is recommended you bring your own. Nespresso compatible pods are available at the Russell supermarket.
